Animal Shelter reviews in Indianapolis

  • They do a good job of placing dogs. They interview and do a home visit. If the dog doesn't do well in the home then they'll take them back. Sometimes they are a little slow with that process. Their price, quality, and professionalism are great. I would use them again in the future.

  • They are excellent. They work as a national organization to take in unwanted Belgian Provider name locked. and then everybody works together to transport them to get them to either foster homes or adopted homes.  It is a non-profit organization, everybody does it voluntarily and nobody is paid.  I adopted my dogs 3 years ago and I help them with transport or anything that they might need in Indianapolis area because it is national, so they are all across the country.  There is a price for the dogs because people don't value animals that they get for free.  Their website tells us how much it is for the dogs because they have to pay for all their care and training.  They have a clause for adoption depending on the dog; any dog we might be taking out of a situation where they are fraction of their weight and we have to spend all the money to try to get them back up to weight and all of the rest of it that goes with being an abuse to the dog.

  • I adopted two dogs from Provider name locked. last month.  They're doing great.  They had to stay at the shelter for a couple of weeks after I chose them, to treat a respiratory infection & be neutered.  Provider name locked. was a good communicator throughout the process.  The dogs came home healthy (and microchipped).  The shelter's hours are a bit limited, and they appropriately screen their applicants - so be prepared to be flexible & to provide them with info.
