Dr Scott Phillips was very in tune with me and listened. He set a course of treatment for me that was reasonable. Also provide allergy shots there if needed

    Lab on Demand
I have rolling, small veins and before we moved to Indianapolis, I went to many different labs but the result was always the same. I had frequent soreness. Not any more. This lab is fantastic. I take all my doctors monthly lab orders there but if I feel I need to know some additional information, at my own expense, I can have that done there as well. Fast, economical and best of all, painless. I no longer dread going for blood draws.

I had already met with Ms. Smith twice earlier this year for a diagnosis and explanation of test results. She suggested I maintain my dietary regimen and add supplements. Now, I simply email her to re-fill my supplement order and I go to her office and pick them up. I have been able to manage my allergies and asthma without getting allergy shots for the first time in twelve years! I continue on my allergy and asthma medication prescribed by my allergist, but Ms. Smith's help has contributed to me experiencing a new level of health I didn't think was possible.

Dr. Patterson and his NP Tracy Donahue are wonderful.  They listen, are thorough, and trust what you are telling them. Appointments are easy to schedule, even those that are acute. I have received excellent advice in the 2 years I have been a patient at the practice.  Highly recommended.

    Steven L. Wise, MD
Dr Wise ran several tests after listening to my list of concerns.  He was very knowledgable and thorough.  I feel confident that he will find out what is wrong with me - which is something that my regular doctor failed to do.  I would totally recommend him and go back for any more issues.

Immunotherapy (allergy shots) is aimed at increasing your tolerance to allergens that trigger your symptoms every time you are exposed to them. An allergist / immunologist, often referred to as an allergist, is the most qualified physician to test which allergy you have and tell you if allergy shots are right for you. Allergy shots work like a vaccine. Your body responds to the injected amounts of a particular allergen (given in gradually increasing doses) little by little, developing a resistance and tolerance to it. Allergy shots can lead to decreased, minimal or no allergy symptoms when you are again exposed to the allergen(s) in the shot. There generally are two phases to immunotherapy: build-up and maintenance. The build-up phase, generally ranging from three to six months, involves receiving injections with increasing amounts of the allergens. The frequency of injections is once or twice a week, though more rapid build-up schedules are sometimes used. The maintenance phase begins when the most effective dose is reached. This dose is different for each person, depending on how allergic you are and your response to the build-up phase. Once the maintenance dose is reached, there are longer periods between injections, typically two to four weeks.

We saw Tracy, the nurse practitioner, which went fine. We did the standard battery of tests and the next level in trying to determine the allergies that were triggering her asthma. We found some minor allergies which is helpful to know. The treatment plan was exactly the same as it would have been without the $1000 of appointments and testing, though. (We have an HSA, so none of it was covered.)

    Baker, Dr. William
I have been going to him for two years. He is absolutely wonderful. I was having crummy asthma attacks and I knew I was going to die from one of them. Dr. Kwo referred me to him. I no longer fear an asthma attack and know how to treat it. He is a very gentile person. He is never in a hurry and takes all of the time you need with questions and answers. I have just had remarkable results with a minimum of appointments. I only go every six months and pretty soon only once a year just so he can track me. He doesn't keep me coming in constantly. He is an absolutely incredible allergist and he also does pulmonary work.

    Goldberg, Pinkus
Dr. Pinkus Goldberg did allergy and lung function testing on me; he prescribed medications to help me better manage my allergies, suggested that I have allergy shots, and gave me suggestions on how to allergy-proof my home to alleviate symptoms. Thankfully, he didn't suggest that I get rid of my two cats.
