I had just bought the house and wasn’t sure how long it had been since cleaned (if ever?) so he took his time to do it right. He was very professional!   • After one minor adjustment, each of the crews got the message that we meant *all* surfaces and everyone did a very good job. Alpine was the only company we found that understood and would do what we wanted, rather than just follow their own protocol. They were very flexible when we had to reschedule. I looked into renting equipment and doing the job myself, but found the cost about equal to hiring Alpine, so in a sense, their labor was free. They missed a couple of very minor things. One call was enough to get them taken care of the next day.

  • When we engaged Simon (I hope he doesn't mind me using his first name) and Midwest Air Solutions to clean our HVAC and dryer ducting, my wife and I didn't know what to expect. All we knew is that when we moved into our house two years ago we found it came with a terrible dust problem. When bright sunlight shown though the windows, dust particles could actually be seen floating around in the air. We saw a special offer made by Midwest on Angie's List, so we decided to give them a try. They certainly didn't disappoint. Not only did Simon do a thorough job of cleaning our ducts, but we were particularly impressed by his punctuality, his courteousness and the quality of service he provided. Dust problem eliminated. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again if the need arises or recommend him to friends and acquaintances.

  • They arrived on time & finished early, having done a very thorough job. I had a coupon for a free dryer vent cleaning, & I paid extra to include a deodorizer for the leftover cigarette smell - the guy said the smell was concentrated in the fiberboard box next to the furnace, where all the vents meet up. He explained that he applied the deodorizer, but he couldn't use much because the fiberboard would get wet & become moldy. This information guided me on the next step to fixing the overall problem (replacing that box), so I'm grateful for their thoroughness & the information.

  • The experience was terrible. They rescheduled then, didn't show up. Then rescheduled again when we tried to work with them again. We're done with them. The initial phone conversation to agree on the service with owner Simon went OK. Scheduled the work to be done, and they called that day to reschedule. We agreed, and nobody showed up for that appointment and nobody made contact (they said nobody answered the cell phone... incorrect.) After a month or so I checked in with them to see if they still wanted to do the work. Scheduling was quick and easy, but on the day of service they again called to reschedule for 2 days out. The scheduler told me my wife had said she preferred the reschedule, but that's not true, Simon said he'd rather reschedule.

  • Very unprofessional. Rude. Inconsiderate. We found this coupon for duct cleaning in a Valpak mailing & set up an appointment. They were hard to get ahold of by phone, which should have been the first red flag. Their availability was a couple weeks out, so we went ahead & booked them since it worked out for us. They gave us an arrival time between 2pm & 4pm. The service location was a property that we had just closed on. I waited there from 2-3:45 with no call from them. Had my wife call them to check & see where they were. They said they wouldn't be there until well after 5, close to 6. Well, thanks for letting me waste 2 hours already! So we started to go & run a couple errands. At about 5:15, they called & said they were at my property. (No heads-up that they were on the way, mind you). Told them we were about 10min behind them. I sent my wife ahead & i was about 10min behind her due to traffic. They kept asking her what we wanted them to do as if they had never seen their own coupon. They were very rude to my wife! And while i was on the phone with my wife trying to explain what we wanted them to do, THEY DROVE OFF! Just UP & LEFT! 4 hours of our time wasted!!!!! Guess they had had enough with pesky customers! No wonder there are so many robo-reviews on their google profile! Real people may not like them. If you're a customer, do them a favor and don't bother them by calling them and asking them to work for your money. They probably don't have time for you or your silly questions. I left a similar review on Google and their response was full of lies. They made no such offers to rectify anything. Again, they just drove off out of the blue. We definitely understand that other jobs and customers have to be completed. That wasn't the issue. The issue was they didn't call to let us know they would be over an hour late and they were RUDE!! UNPROFESSIONAL!! Check their reviews across various sites... read the "good ones". They all appear scripted & terribly fishy. Then check the bad ones along with Fresh Air's responses and you'll see how they treat customers. Angie's List flagged them for bad behavior... which means they really could care less about customers. They blame customers for FAST's terrible service, so make sure not to bother them with your expectation of professionalism and good customer service. Wish i would have checked before wasting my time!!!!!

  • Chris and Eric were awesome. Really nice people and very thorough technicians. They did a great job cleaning all the vents, gave me some insight into the layout of the HVAC system, reminded me to change my furnace filter, and made sure they left everything as clean or cleaner than they found it. Couldn't be happier!
