  • Like I said before, we had issues with the internet in a home environment. We had already switched internet providers from AT&T to Comcast, but had an extremely weak, intermittent signal. I work from home 95% of the time and my husband works from home 20% of the time in demanding jobs. We were so frustrated for so long, and we knew we needed professional help. We read about Family Sized Home Technology Services on Angie's List and because of the great reviews, we decided to call. Boy, are we glad we did. Provider name locked. arrived with the knowledge and equipment we needed and we proceeded to tackle the internet problem first. Normally this goes smoothly but for some reason, we still had issues with Comcast, equipment, etc. Provider name locked. worked with Comcast (which takes patience) and got our internet running. It took a few hours, but he felt good we were all set. The next day, we had issues again.


    Provider name locked. came out on a Saturday at no charge and set everything up again. We were back in business. After he left, the internet went down again.


    Provider name locked. came out again on a Sunday at no charge to finally get the issue repaired. It turns out that Comcast equipment was not set up correctly on their end. After that problem was fixed, Provider name locked. worked on my printer and scanner. The scanner issue was tough, but he saw it through. I was in a bind for the scanner and Provider name locked. saved the day.


    To date, FHSTS has checked on us from time to time, and we have had no more issues. I know that when I do have problems, I now have my own IT Department, Family Home Sized Technology Services. I can call, text or email and get a response. This takes the pressure off of me and my company.


    We would highly recommend anyone using FHSTS for any computer or network issues you may have. We certainly will!

  • .I had 2 leaks, one leak from the roof and the other leak from my deck over the garage.
     Provider name locked. came out the same day as I called their office and spent about 1 1/2 hour on the roof with my water hose until water actually came into the house.  Once he had the locations of both leaks he sent me his proposal and within a few days his crew was here.  For the roof leak he removed a section of shingles and replaced them with new shingles including Provider name locked. flash and step flash. For the deck leak he removed a section of wood boards then used hot asphalt to seal the leak and finally put the deck boards back in place .

  • Rocky start with a great finish!  Setting up the appointment was  little complicated, I was on a tight schedule and Provider name locked. was willing to work around it.  A few hours after setting up the appointment he called to ask what time we had set it up for (Friday 1-3), then Thursday while at work I found a bunch of missed calls where he had shown up to my house that day instead.  We got it worked out and Friday he showed up on time after a lot of uncertainty on my part on when I could be home.  Was very appreciative that he was willing to play it by ear due to my work schedule and traffic issues getting home.  
    He spent a good amount of time checking my dryer out and listening to it from various places, testing the temperature, double checking that I had cleaned my vents out properly.  He was able to find no issue and of course the heat and smell were non-existent after I bought someone to check on it!  He didn't try to sell me up on anything I didn't need and just told me to let him know if in the next 30 days I ran into any other issues.
    I got the impression he may be the only employee, which may be why it was a little complicated to make sure to take care of appointments while also out making service calls, but that makes sense.  Overall I would highly recommend and use again if I run into issues.  
    The only reason I include the rocky start info is in case another customer runs into the problem, don't give up or cancel!  He doesn't gouge you on the service call when nothing is wrong so just hang in there!!
