  • OMG I wish I would have read these reviews before dealing with these people. YES they are rude and very unprofessional. I was one month behind on my rent due to battling Breast Cancer and they were unwilling to work with me Knowing my situation. I didn't want free rent, I needed time to get the money together after not being able to work. My job donated sick leave time to cover me, but then realized afterwards that I had not been with the company long enough and took the hours back from me, which was one month entire pay. We are paid monthly. I spoke with MariElla and informed her of this information and they still filed an eviction on me. Now I have given them their $1350 plus $250 in fees and their STILL trying to evict me. But of course these people hide behind their phones and emails. I came into the office after gaining my strength and she sent someone else out to speak with me instead of herself. Camillo Properties doesn't realize that your Tenants are who made you. This behavior is unacceptable and as I stated before I hope non of them have to deal with serious medical issues that **** near takes you out. It's not cool. I had to give one star, but they deserve a negative....

  • They raised their prices and their service went down. I wasn't happy, tenants weren't happy. Service providers they selected to do repair work weren't great and I was able to find cheaper and higher quality workers elsewhere.

  • They found me good tenants (so far...3 months so hard to say) in a quick timeframe (~3 months from listing to rented) and their fees are ... about the same as everyone else really, 1 months rent for placement , $200 set up & then $100 per month flat rates. But they're not great. You have to follow up, sometimes repeatedly, if you want an update on - anything. "That emergency call - was that dealt with?" "That repair - are the tenants happy with it?" "That payment - why haven't I gotten one yet?" Anything really... I even hired my own guy for 1 repair because of delays in getting answers (which was entirely why I had hired them I thought...) They sent you regular e-mails from an automated system about accounting for your property - but honestly, they're not intuitive at all and sometimes don't seem consistent either. There's a few times that I never could figure out where a number came from. Overall, they're okay, but not great. I'm not sure I'd suggest them to a friend.

  • I have had issues with past landlords but I have been pleased with Star Realty's service. I have been at this property for 2 years that they manage and have had to have their assistance on numerous occasions. They have always been courteous, professional, helpful and prompt. It is clear to me that tenant satisfaction is high on their list of priorities.

  • I have had to contact the company several times to find out what is going on with the property.  I had been told that the property had been rented at least twice but then when I called back to see why there was no one in the property I was told the renters were transferred.
I found out that the back door had been left open as I had been called by the neighbor of the house.  They had found the back door wide open and no one was in the property.  Thank goodness for good neighbors otherwise the property would have had rain water coming through the opened back door.
This company has not kept me up to date on the status of the property and has caused a loss of money due to the
broken rental agreements.   I had at least 2 couples asking about the property but due to being told there was a rental agreement (the last one was supposed to have been 2 years) in place I had advised the couples the place was already rented.
I have had to call the office more than once to get a copy of the first "broken" agreement before it was finally emailed to me.  I never did receive the 2nd agreement.
All in all dealing with this company has been more work and frustration than if I had never hired them!

  • Atrocious experience. Their maintenance is a bare minimum response to any issues. Highly unprofessional with their communication. Non responsive to customer requests. Complete lack of follow through on commitments.

  • Mr. Will Nesbitt was extremely helpful and professional. I believe he went out of his way, in a timely manner, to visit our home in Arlington, VA. He checked everything and sent a full report. He followed that up with a telephone call. He couldn't have been more helpful.

  • My impression of him is wonderful; he seems to be very principled. His price is reasonable; it is what is standard in Houston. He seems to be an ethical man and that mean everything to me. He really checks out prospective tenants before they lease on of my properties. If he says they are going to be a good tenant and that he has done a background check and/or criminal check; he has. You can take his word for stuff and I have been using him for years.

  • Really good customer service very helpful. Haven't had any problems at all. They were quick to service us and they followed through and did what they said they would do. I would use them again in the future if I needed to

  • I met Mark with Star on a trip to Houston in September.  During the inifial meeting Mark assessed the condition of the property and recommended what repairs and maintenance would be needed prior to rental of the property.  Mark had a locksmith rekey the house and provided a copy of the new key during our initial meeting.  Star used their network of service providers to perform the necessary work and kept me well informed throughout the process, including estimates of repair costs at each stage of the make ready process.  I did not have to return to Houston after the initial meeting.  Once the property was ready to rent, Star handled the rental process.  Once a candidate was identified, I was contacted with the candidate information and gave approval for the tenant.  As a remote property owner, I could not have asked for more complete or professional service.
