Foundation Repair reviews in Houston

  • I am in the midst of having my insurance company approve the estimate that AEI have prepared, in order to hire them for their services. Edward, was very professional, punctual, and very quick in his responses. If my insurance approves their estimate, I will surely pick him and his company to repair the house, partially or fully.

  • Eduardo was very professional, and their pricing was very fair. The work was completed before the anticipated date, and the quality was superb. I am very pleased with all the work done post Harvey. I would recommend them and use them again.

  • Extremely well. The process was stressful, but the Foreman, David M was reassuring and informative during the entire process. The work crew was efficient and careful with the inside and outside of my home. After completion, I had some concerns. Called Allied, they immediately addressed the issues with ease and assurance. I choose Allies Foundation out of 9 other companies. I feel I made the right choice. I would definitely recommend this company. The price was fair.

  • Did not honor their word and work...I have tried to reach then several times over the past several months with a problem and they have yet to call me back.. Never received a graph of the work after requesting nor a receipt... Planning to sell my home and invoice of work.

  • They caused a big crack on the outer wall of my garage. But my house needs to have the foundation worked up again. I tried to get in touch with them after around 6 months that they did our foundation. I tried calling them for almost a year.

  • The move itself was well-performed and we were pleased with the results. BJ Drake and Brett were great to work with, and helped a lot with information. However, communicating with the office staff person and permit runner was horrible. The project met numerous delays and the $$ we were supposed to have saved by hiring a permit runner ended up costing double. I had to visit the permitting center 4 times myself to straighten out the mess that was made. I never got a copy of the plans that we paid her to draw up and we never got a signed copy of the contract. Also, the permits that were supposed to be posted at the house mysteriously disappeared (or were never posted). Deal with Mr. Drake and the movers and get the permits yourself if you have time. Mr. Drake's brother? cousin? has some great information on his site regarding the process and the costs involved in all the permits.

  • I had moisture/water issue in two of my rooms that was causing wood floor to buckle. Mr. Jess Monroe from Titan Structural Solutions did show up and evaluate the situation. and we both agree that there are two causes 1) sewer pipe connection right outside house is damaged by tree roots 2) and foundation issue in two of my rooms. We both agreed that he is going to fix both of issues and he is going to get all the required permits from city to do the job. He wrote a contract and we both agreed with it. 1st) His crew came one week late with no city permit, he had to delay the job again and wait few more days until he got the permit. 2nd) his crew only finished the foundation part of job and didn't even dig or touch any of the sewer pipe part of our agreement, they came up with many different excuses and lies to not do the plumbing parts, Meanwhile he updated and email me a new contract that pumping part was removed from it. Since I was not going to pay them for half a job, he called me himself and promised me if I pay for the job they did so far, his crew will show up in next working day and finish the plumbing part. I make mistake and believe him and paid them. 3rd) The next working day, nobody showed up , he promised to show up few more day after that, no show either, then excuses after excuses, after two weeks of none sense ,he finally told me that he is not planning to do the pluming part because bunch of lame excuses and bunch of lies about my sewer piping system that he know himself is not true. 4th) He also promised me to give me engineering completion job certificate (required by city) in few days, and I haven't received it yet even more a month passed. To summarize: people in this company have no integrity and lie to you to get the job. Don't make my mistake and trust this people, and never pay them for half job. Because as soon as you do, they will disappear and your job won't be completed.

  • Our house suffered terribly in drought conditions in Houston several years ago. We had emergency repairs done to the back of the house then, but the front began sinking as well. Dura Pier recently came in and placed more than 20 piers under the foundation. They were on time, efficient and pleasant to work with. They also did a terrific job cleaning up afterwards, and today -- a few months later -- followed up with measurements to see that the job had been done correctly. Highly recommended.

  • Mr. Sealy was super nice and accommodating. I was out of town and I was able to schedule the inspection for first thing the next morning. He performed the inspection and even let me pay via Zelle since I was not able to be there in person. I was emailed the report the same day and I couldn't have asked for better service. Would defiantly use again and refer him to anyone needing someone to look at structures.

  • Rob and his team are truly amazing! They came in and efficiently installed a root block in our backyard on a Thursday. The following Tuesday they returned and installed a drainage system for our backyard with three catch basins and run off into the street. In the front yard they cut the grass into sod pieces before digging the trench and when finished replaced the grass making it almost imperceptible that they had done the job. Rob is an encyclopedia of information about trees and landscaping and he is always willing to share what he knows. I highly, highly recommend hiring him and his team (some of whom have been with him 16 years) He is honest, knowledgeable, and very fairly priced!

Foundation Repair In Houston

Our second most-requested service

Foundation repair in Houston ranks as the second most searched-for service on Angie’s List, trailing only HVAC repair in the New York tri-state area. Because foundation repair is such a sought-after service, many contractors look for ways to stand out. Golden Foundation & Construction, for example, distinguishes itself from our nearly 500 foundation repair pros by maintaining status as an Angie's List Certified Service Provider. To attain this annual certification, contractors must complete integrity checks such as a background check and license verification. Golden Foundation holds an A grade on nearly 80 percent of its member reviews, which climbs to nearly 90 percent when adding in B reviews. This demonstrates that certified service providers understand how trust impacts homeowners’ choices.

As it turned out, he said our foundation was in excellent shape, nearly level, and did not need repair.”

A decade’s worth (and counting) of reviews
