I got four estimates on this job and Provider name locked. 's was the best, in terms of price, product and presentation.
Provider name locked. said it would take about six weeks to order the windows and I did have to call him several times after the initial agreement to make sure we were on the schedule once this time period was over. He was always very responsive and it was easy to set the date for the installation with him.
Provider name locked. and his crew arrived right on time as scheduled. They were hard-working, efficient, friendly and professional. They kept the work areas as clean as possible and cleaned up nicely after themselves.
I had two concerns that I noticed after the fact - after Provider name locked. and his crew had left. Several windows were caulked sloppily - which is not a dealbreaker, but does detract from the beauty of these wonderful windows.
The second concern is mixed good and bad. I had quite a few rotten sections of trim around the exterior of our windows. Provider name locked. replaced this trim for no extra charge for material or labor. However, the pieces of trim are not sized correctly and this gives the windows a bit of a lopsided look. I would have preferred to pay extra for trim and to have it cut to the right size.
If I had it to do over, I would pay more attention to these details while the windows were being installed. I didn't notice these issues until the crew had left. I feel sure that Provider name locked. would have addressed these issues if I had caught them at the time of installment.
Unfortunately, I did call him about the caulking and Provider name locked. said he would come by to look at it, but that was almost a month ago. My husband called a few times as well to talk about the trim, but couldn't reach anyone.
Overall, I gave this experience an A - the price was great. The workmanship was very very good with the exceptions I mentioned. It was a big job and they worked very hard and the windows are gorgeous! We are also noticing already the difference in terms of insulation!

There really aren't any 'Provider name locked. 'ts' with this company. They are extremely flexible in working with your schedule, and very timely with their estimates. The company owner is absolutely know the business, and gave an estimate and detailed explanation on-site, showing what needed to be done (eventually) and why it needed to be done.
As for 'Do's', I only say that if you receive multiple quotes, and BAG isn't the lowest, I'd discuss it with them, as my experience is that they use quality materials and do NOT cut corners to do the job right, but are flexible in working with customer budget constraints, to provide alternative, more short-term solutions, if needed.
Over the years, I've had many frustrating, highly stressful experiences with contractors and tradesmen who are late, don't clean up, cut corners on a job, or find 'extra' things to charge for AFTER they start a job.
Provider name locked. operates on a completely different level of professionalism, and it is a breeze to work with the company's owner.
