  • They were great to work with from the estimate all the way to the final Product. The room looks amazing. All the workers were nice and just really did a great job. We have received tons of compliments. Eric was on top of everything and kept everything moving. We would use them again for sure.

  • TBRC is great. They replaced and painted the trim on my home a few years back. Last year, after Harvey, they jumped in and restored our home from the three feet of water damage. They quickly removed the drywall and about a week later got started on repairs and replacements. The owner, Gilbert Flores, is very nice and professional and he has assembled a wonderful team of skilled builders. It took almost six weeks to complete and now it looks better than before. I also had them out earlier this year to change all of the faucets and I am currently getting scheduled to change the kitchen light fixtures. I will only call TBRC and Gilbert for home repairs.

  • Cameron did a thorough walk-through of our bathrooms and spent plenty of time listening to our ideas and answering our questions. He also suggested several small things that we had not thought of that became total game changers in our project. His patience with us, attention to detail, and experience were all noticed and appreciated. During the bid phase, he was quick to respond to our questions and change requests. His proposal was very clear and detailed and his prices were great.

  • This company communicated effectively by phone and text. They arrived punctually, gave a well thought out quote, performed the job as described and finished as promised. Steven and his crew are professional, serious business men and I would happily call on them again.

  • Day one of demo - Cops were called due to Brian not wanting to pay his demo guys because he wasn't at the job site and they demoed my appliances. He did not pay the guys until I prompted him that that it was not good business. He paid them a fraction of what he agreed to. Day 2 of work - Brian stated he didn't bid the job right because there was drywall behind paneling and that would require more demo work (which was open on Friday). He also expressed that he thought one of the walls only included wallpaper and it wasn't paneling so that would require more demo and more materials. Basically up charging me because he incorrectly bid the project. Also trying to recoup some of his loss from the appliances. Left the property with over 25 bags of sheetrock. Day 4 - Brian stated he would be at the property at 7:30 am to clear bags so that the electrician and plumber could work. He does not call but later text that he will be there at 8:40 am (after I reached out to him). He then texts to say he ran out of gas and electrician can work around the bags. (I rearranged my whole morning to try and accommodate him.) No professional courtesy whatsoever. He then tells me he's not coming to haul away demo items, so I fired him. He still hadn't completed the demo that was supposed to be complete on Friday.

  • We noticed that we had water coming out of the foundation where our shower was located. The drain pan had cracked and we need that repaired. We decided to address this issue and also update our shower as well since this area was going to be opened up. Cameron and his team were professional and always on time. They were extremely tidy and cleaned up at the end of the day.

  • Brought Sammy in to provide a quote on a fairly extensive update to home. As others mentioned, there is a small fee associated with having him come out during the first visit. However, keep in mind Sammy does more than spend 30 minutes meeting with you. We spent several hours with Sammy walking through our home and discussing needs and wish list items. In return, we received a fairly detailed quote that included all items we discussed. After deciding to move forward, we were provided a start date and estimated time to complete the project. With this being our first major contracting experience, we weren't sure what to expect, but here is a general overview of our experience: 1. Day 1 - Sammy arrives at 7:30 and introduces us to Nelson, who will serve as the foreman for the project. Nelson was super responsive during the entire project. He answered any and all questions that I had and worked side by side with his crew throughout the process. He also provided quick solutions to problems encountered and would make suggestions on small details that ultimately improved the look and feel of the home. 2. Day 1 - Crew arrives at 7:30 AM, pulls the dumpster up the driveway, receives instruction from Sammy and Nelson and gets right to work. 3. For the next 12 weeks, the crew worked diligently on the project. There was always someone working at our house, Monday through Saturday (yes, they worked Saturday as well) from 7:30 am to beyond 5 pm. 4. The entire crew was extremely hard working, easy to interact with, and helpful. Even more important, it was the same group of guys during the entire project because Sammy has his own team. 5. The project was completed within the scheduled 16 week period. Overall, we are extremely happy with the results. With any project, there will be challenges and issues that are encountered. Sammy and Nelson were always up front with issues and provided recommendations and solutions. As with any project, you should always allocate additional funds for unforeseen issues that arise. We did have a couple of those items, but they were fairly minor in respect to the project as a whole and were not issues that could have been determined prior to the project. From a price perspective, the company was probably in the top 25% of quotes that I received. However, this is truly a 'you get what you pay for' situation. Being consistently on site six days a week, providing quality work, delivering the project on time, and providing exceptional customer service is well worth it.

  • Excellent! - The project manager Zach and Ellie are very professional, nice and easy to work with. - The quotes are detailed and when we added things on (fixing a squeaky floor, replacing the ladder to our attic) they provided an estimate upfront. - The price was very reasonable and the quality was very high. - We had some unexpected plumbing issues when we opened up the walls and the plumber and Zach were able to come up with a very good solution. - The tiling team was outstanding - they were careful about centering the pattern on the shower benches and nooks. - The also had to move an AC vent and sheetrock over an old doorway. They matched the paint perfectly and you can't tell that there was ever a doorway.

  • Where should I begin? John and his dad has been our go to guys since 2014 for every repair/remodeling in our house. I’m so happy to have come across them the first time when our kitchen had a small leak within the walls. It was a very difficult job bc the leak had expanded to the wood studs in the walls. The work involved removing the existing cabinets without damaging the granite countertops, replacing any damaged wood, sheetrock (our sink faces outward towards the living room), replacing the sink & plumbing, mold-proof it, and installing new cabinets (keep the cabinet faces). It was a big job, but they got it done. They were so knowledgeable and explained everything to my mom and me. Their attention to detail exceeds my expectations and especially my mom’s picky, keen eyes. They are honest, friendly, and just good people. Their price is fair and their work is exceptional. From the first job, my mom and I knew that we found someone that we can trust for our remodeling needs. John and his dad continued to work on our house for various different projects (see list) throughout the years. We feel as if we gained a family with them... John, his dad, and James (brother). They have our trust for life.
