I have taken classes for over 25 years and my family has been involved with the studio for over 40 years! This is a fabulous studio, which has wonderful recital performances that are the best I have seen around.

My daughter learned more in her first two months at Provider name locked. than she did in two years at our previous studio. The teachers are thorough in teaching technique and were able to quickly correct the bad habits my daughter had picked up at our old studio. This studio is all about offering as many opportunities as possible to each child. My daughter competed in 6 dance competitions (2 groups and a solo) performed in 15 routines at recital, danced in the Christmas musical, and tumbled in the Christmas parade. She just turned 7 years old. This studio does well at competitions and brings home many trophies. My daughter won 4 trophies for her solo, one of which was first overall. There are no teacher pets at this studio. Everyone is treated fairly. The payment system is computerized and she accepts credit/debit cards for payment. There are two lobbies, snack/drink machines, and 3 restrooms. They offer after school pickup at local schools. I cannot say enough about how much my daughter has learned at this dance studio. The end of year recitals are held at the trade center with unlimited seating and free admission for an unlimited number of friends and family. The facility includes 2 dance studios in the main building with an additional studio next door to be used for extra practices during competition season. There are mirrors in all the studios. One studio has a professional Provider name locked. dance floor. They own a tumble track trampoline which is proactively used during classes with a teacher on the Provider name locked. spotting the students. There is also thick tumbling mats, ballet barres in both rooms, and gymnastic bars and beams available to use as needed. The building is properly heated and cooled.- Daphne W.
I've been going to the Promenade for a couple of years and am a big fan as a space for lessons, practice time, and social dancing. The owner, Provider name locked. , is very nice and there are dance classes every evening -- except Sunday, when lessons are in the early afternoon. One of my favorite things that they do is beginner boot camp on Friday nights. For $15, you can get two 30-minute beginner lessons, a 60-minute intermediate lesson, and 3 hours of social dance time. (Also, active duty and retired military are free on Friday nights.) For inexperienced dancers, it's a great time to learn, and for more experienced dancers, it's a great time to practice and share what you know with those who are less experienced. They also sell dance shoes and "bling".
Some of the other things that I like about it:
- ample, well-lit parking,
- the music is not so loud that you have to yell over it,
- it's not far off the beltway, and
- they don't sell alcohol.
