Auto Transport reviews in Houston

I needed to move my child's vehicle from Houston to Provider name locked. DC for college. This was my first experience using a vehicle transportation company. Provider name locked. with Provider name locked. was wonderful to work with.
He answered all of my questions very promptly, the price was fair and most importantly, the car was delivered in excellent condition.
Will definitely use his service again.

I was very pleased with my experience with Provider name locked. . I got about 15 quotes and this was one of the lowest but not the lowest (I had about four lower, up to $75 less). I searched all of the companies on this website, BBB, and Angie's List and threw out anyone with low reviews. Provider name locked. didn't have any Angie's List reviews but I didn't hold that against him. Provider name locked. still wasn't the lowest price, but just $50 higher than the lowest I was still considering. When I first told Provider name locked. he wasn't the lowest, after telling me how price isn't everything (who can blame him), he offered to post the job for $100 less and just see if a Provider name locked. picked up on the quote. After a couple of days no one had picked up on it and I had more quotes that were either equal or higher than Provider name locked. 's, so I felt like the rate was fair. And certainly I wanted someone who seemed to have good standards and care about his reputation, since there's a lot of trust involved in buying a car from thousands of miles away and hoping it is in good shape when it arrives at your house.
I did all this right before I finished buying the car (I bought the car online and used a local inspector, so there were a few days to work the transport quotes before the car would be ready.
Anyway, when the car was ready, I told Provider name locked. I would go with him if he still had a quick pickup (two days earlier he had emailed to tell me he had a hauler at $850 but I had said I'm not ready yet). He emailed me back in a few minutes to say yes, he had a hauler who could pick it up the next day or the day after. Bottom line, that's exactly what happened - my car was picked up two days later. The hauler was polite and efficient and there were no surprises. They had estimated it would take seven days to deliver (huge winter storm in Boston and the seaboard and I'm all the way down in Texas), but I got a call first thing Monday morning (4 days later) saying the car is here. They delivered about three hours later - polite driver and his partner.
So all in all - this was an easy transaction, and Provider name locked. was polite and efficient. I don't know how he does this for $50 in profit per haul (and heck, maybe there's some commission the haulers pay back to him too, that would be fine with me), but frankly you can't make a living this way if you're not good at what you do - so I imagine my experience was not unique

I booked my Mercedes CLK 350 auto transport through Provider name locked. . I had a difficult time finding someone that would deliver my car to Provider name locked. . Everyone else wanted me to pick it up in Los Provider name locked. . Provider name locked. was very professional and cordial with every phone call and was always responsive with phone calls and emails. The driver picked up my car a day ahead of schedule with no advance phone call. I was unprepared to give up my car so early but had to anyways. My car was to arrive 6 days later. 10 days later I still did not have my car. I called the driver and he advised me he was still in Texas and would possibly have it delivered a few days later. This was very disturbing and costly as I had to keep my rental car for several days longer than anticipated. My car finally arrived unharmed a week later than scheduled but not without hearing the driver's woeful story of his long Journey. Provider name locked. reimbursed me for 2 days car rental at the standard rate even though I had to rent an SUV. The whole trip actually took 11 days rather than 6. I'm afraid I can't recommend this company because of the driver they hired to transport my car.
