    Interior You
Working with Byron at Interior You is a very positive experience. He takes time to get to know you and exactly what you want. He then provides various options for your review. There's never any pressure, and he's happy to re-work his designs as many times as necessary to make sure you get what you want. A few years ago, Byron took the time to arrange a trip to High Point, NC, to attend the largest furniture market in the world. After 2 non-stop days of shopping, my house went from "single guy who lives alone" to "wow, where did you find all of this unique furniture and dcor?" Having spent time to get to know me, Byron knew my taste but also realized that I needed pieces that I wasn't thinking about. Instead of saying, "you need this", he simply steered me in different directions than I would have naturally gone myself. This was perfect because I found several statement pieces that I would have overlooked otherwise. I am yet to begin my home renovation project, but when I do, it will be using Interior You's services.

We had general idea but did not have a clue as to take our ideas and make transform them into actual designs that a contractor can use. Byron is a magician at taking ideas and turning them into 2D and 3D renderings that you can really see the room before the first nail is driven. Byron is easy to work with and will spend as much time as is needed to make sure you are happy with the outcome. At this point, we have final renderings and have paid his fee in full but Byron has continued to help with finding the right contractor and we have a shopping trip planned to pick out colors, furniture, tiles, etc.

    Venecad
My experience with Venecad was great!! They really helped me out with redesigning an interior that did not break my wallet and allowed me to acquire more guests in an Airbnb that I was starting. They listened very well to all my concerns and wants and delivered on a timely manner. The price was also great in comparison to other people I had quoted from.

Byron was on time (to the minute) for every meeting. He created multiple design options for each area we wanted to remodel (including 2D and 3D renderings). I am a very detail-oriented person and always had many questions and suggestions about the designs and requested many updates. Byron willingly provided updates to portions of the designs as we pondered what we wanted. We liked Byron's design ideas and the designs were even complimented by some of the contractors we interviewed for the remodeling work. Byron helped us (and continues to help us) with selections of materials (plumbing, tile, cabinets, etc.). We needed a lot of help with this and Byron has always been willing to help. In summary, I believe that Byron Kidder goes 'above and beyond' to provide a top notch service to his clients. I would definitely recommend Byron to anybody looking for a designer for their remodeling projects.

    RSFM Inc
RSFM did a wonderful job on our bathroom. We had our master bath remodeled. The job included adding an additional 10x12 space that included a slab pour and roof addition. The old cast iron plumbing beneath the slab was replaced with PVC. All fixtures were relocated requiring lots of plumbing line relocating. The job also included a large standalone shower, standalone tub with a freestanding tub filler, and a small toilet room. The cabinets and vanities were all custom built. The ceilings were raised to be vaulted and a faux beam was added. The finish work was outstanding. The painters did the best work I've ever seen with high attention to detail. RSFM is not the cheapest, but they have a physical office with people I got to know, and I never felt they would bolt with my money and not finish the job. I likely could have found cheaper, but I didn't want the stress of worrying about them suddenly disappearing and I never doubted the finished product would be awesome. Because this was a very big project with practically everything being replaced or modified, I would be lying if I said the entire process was smooth without any hiccups. However, all hiccups were addressed and resolved, and any mistakes that were the fault of RSFM were remedied by RSFM. In some instances they even remedied things that were not their fault. If you're looking for cheap, but you are ok with bird dogging the contractors and are ok with taking a risk on less reputable companies, then RSFM may not be your choice. If you're looking for a company that will be there until the end and you're willing to pay a little more for the confidence the work will be done right, RSFM is highly recommended. Recommendation: For any contracts where the fixtures, tile, etc... are priced in the contract, and any overages are the responsibility of the homeowner, I recommend the homeowner research the prices for these items before sitting down with the contractor to sign a deal. You may find the prices in the contract to be very low. This applies to all contractors and not only RSFM. There are programs generating these, and often the costs are low compared to reality. This is the responsibility of the homeowner to know what they want. This is an area where I wish I would have done my homework to avoid the sticker shock of what some of the items cost.

    STIVISON & CO ARCHITECTURE
Ralph is extremely professional. He listens to our requirements and offers his help with the design using his creative knowledge of design, planning and execution. We had collected many architectural details such as ceiling fans, windows, old bath tub, etc for our house. Ralph recommended an upgrade to newer windows which made sense and would save us money in the future. Ralph was easy to contact, communicate with and available for us.

    IPG Design, LLC
Mr. Garcia completed all plans to renovate a 1949 house in San Antonio, TX. He was available to answer any questions or concerns we had. He also met with the contractor who had provided a bid on the work and also met us at the contractor's current job site to see the work in progress. Mr. Garcia also stated that he would be available during the construction process. I would certainly recommend Mr. Garcia to anyone wishing to construct a new residence or a renovation.
