Verified the system needed to be replaced and made very quick arrangements to get a price that we approved and replacement on its way.
They were done in a fairly short time (with heroics of getting it in the house with all the banked snow around the back...) and left the place spotless!

The gentlemen first installed the clean out of which the first tool he used which was meant to break the pipe cleanly of which it made the pipe break in little pieces and cave in. So the pipe had to be cut using a tool with a circular blade. After the clean out was installed the camera was run to the other clean out. I watch as he explained that there was turtling (as explained b/c of the pipe rusting from within and possibly from previous owners using drano causes buildup on the inside of the pipe resembling turtle shell looking objects) within the pipe and there were signs of sewer flies. I was informed that the pipe was compromised and recommended it be replaced. I asked how much it would be and I was told instantly $6,000 or they could run a pipe along the wall and reconnect it outside and that would be more b/c of having to use machinery to dig a hole outside my house.
Next the camera was run from original clean out to the street. About three quarters of the way out I inquired about providing me a copy of the video and it was then that i was informed that it was not being recorded and that he could see if he had a
After that was done I went to pay the bill to find out that he added $25 to what was quoted to me b/c the pipe he cut gave him a hard time so he felt the additional charge was warranted?? Again im pretty easy going and let it go. I reminded him that I did want an official estimate for both options discussed to fix the pipe.
I started to call other plumbers the following week and informed them
what I needed done and asked if they would come out and give me an estimate. All of the companies I spoke with asked to see the video of which I proceeded to inform them I didn't have one and why. I asked all of the companies I spoke with what they charge for their camera service and how they provide back up and they all were priced the same as Constuxx and they all stated that they would either provide me with Jump drive copy or email me the video for my records.
I called contruxx back later the following week. I voiced my concerns and asked them to rerun the camera and record it this time thinking I could have the video converted to a DVD or jump drive. I also informed them I still didn't receive an official estimate and was informed they would get with the office to have that out to me. With some push back and hesitation the tech did agree to come back out to rerun the pipe however when they called about stopping by they left a message and I called back left another message and since have not heard from them and I still never received an estimate.
I highly recommend them, and will using them again if I have further plumbing needs.
The technician arrives at my house and asks to see the tub. He looks at it for a couple of minutes and then declares that they can do half of the work, removing the tub and draining it, but they would never do a new tub installation. As soon as he finishes saying that he follows it up with, You should contact a bathroom fitter and that will be $50.
I had clearly described my problem over the phone to their agent and what work I was hoping to have done. If they never intended or could not have done the work they should be stated this before sending their technician out and charging me money.
I did feel that the technician did his job fine and I would not place blame on him but instead either the agent who provided misinformation or some other corporate policy that tells them to take every service call regardless.
In 2006 my heat pump was going bad in the dead of winter. I called numerous Plumbing, Heating and AC companies on a weekend for some help. Most didn't want to be bothered on a weekend ( including some you list favorably in your bulletin ) except . They were very helpful in getting us some temporary heat over the weekend and eventually replaced our whole heating system. They get all my plumbing, heating and air conditioning work because they were the only one to respond when I was in dire need of service. Another example of their promptness and concern for the customer was in 2011 when I was having sump pump problems in the basement. Water was accumulating and I couldn't get the sump pump to work.
