Massage Therapy & Yoga by Ann L. Smith, LMT, CYI
Ann was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. I told her about my problem areas and she catered to my needs. She adjusted her program to help me get the best benefit possible and it helped tremendously. I will be calling to make another appointment in the vey near future. Thanks Ann.

Session went very well. I will most definitely schedule again in the near future. I highly recommend Ann. This is my opinion so try her therapy  and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

She is always pleasant and professional and asks if anything has changed since my last massage.  Ann gives you the entire hour and does not cut corners.  She gives a really great massage and her reflexology is great as well.  I have already purchased another massage for future use. |

In preparing for a 10-mile race, I aggravated my right calf muscle a few weeks before the race.  I'd take a few days off, but would only be able to run about 2 miles before my calf would tighten and I would start to feel strain the entire way up my leg.  At that point, I thought there was a good chance I would have to skip the race.
I went to Ann for the first time on 3/20 for a 60-minute sports massage on my legs.  The following week, I ran a few times without issue.  I went back on 3/28 for one additional massage and felt no tenderness or issues even during the massage.
The 10-mile race was today (3/30) in just about the worst possible conditions...37 degrees, pouring rain, driving winds.  I spent the day running through mud and jumping puddles.  I wanted to give up several times during the race, but my legs and calves felt great.  Ann is my new go to person for a massage, and I plan to use her numerous times as I prepare to run a marathon in the Fall.

The provider was very accommodating, prompt, efficient, and courteous. The massage was wonderful, she is very willing to adapt and adjust as necessary during the massage to ensure that you get the results you are looking for as an individual. I definitely plan to return and recommend the services to anyone in the market for a great massage!

I cannot say enough about Ann.  At the massage mingle I had at my home, Ann set up her table in a quiet room which was candle lit and had soft music playing.  She brought everything she needed.  She even brought me a small gift for hosting the mingle.  Everyone who attended had at least a 30 minute massage.  We all ate dinner and we even invited Ann to join us for dinner and she did.  We ate, drank and it was followed up with fabulous massages.  I hope to host another mingle in the near future.  As for my usual massage visits at her shop, they are amazing.  Warm, relaxing and right on target with respect to my massage needs.  It was not my first massage with Ann and most certainly will NOT be my last.  I love them!

I called Ann and left a message. She promptly returned my call. We scheduled an appointment. Ann was pleasant on the phone and I enjoyed speaking with her during the massage. However, Ann forgot my appointment. When I arrived she had left. I called her and she truly did not have me scheduled. But she did return back to the massage location for the service. For me, this started off my service in a negative way. The massage therapist is not organized enough to have her appointments written down. The location is across the street from a public school. The building appeared to be majority vacant so I was very uncomfortable. I had a hard time locating the building because there is not proper signs to direct customers. You have to walk up this steep flight of stairs to get to the second level where her massage room is located. Again, the building is old and seemd very much vacant. Once inside Ann's massage area; the waiting room was dark. Ann asked me to fill out papaerwork and it was so dark I had to ask to have some light. She even commented on how dark it appeared in the small waiting area. We both put on our reading glasses I could not see the forms due to the poorly lit room. The massage table was cold. The table did not have temperature control function. The room was very cold. Ann offered me a blanket but the blanket did not feel and smell up to my expectation. Ann did a decent massage. However, I was very dissapointed in the experience. I get monthly massages at the Hershey Chocolate Spa so my expectation for Ann's services and environment was high. Unfortunately, she did not deliver according to my expectations. She also does not have the ability to process payment via a credit card or debit card. I do not like to carry cash. So we agreed to go to the  gas station on the corner by her building so I could use the ATM machine. I paid her and thanked her. Overall I was very disappointed in the service and the atmosphere. It is just not the type of experience I would expect to receive. Again, Ann was a nice person and easy to conversate with. I chose to try Ann because I saw her reviews on Angie's list. I was disappointed in the experience.

The first and second appointments were very nice but I needed a more forward therapist that would ask me more questions except, "Is the pressure ok?" Every appointment was the same. I could anticipate her exact "moves" and relaxation techniques. I consider myself a more shy patient and am not able to open up while relaxing and on the table. Possibly questions after the massage? This is why I go to the Family Wellness Center.

I have received services from Blue Mountain multiple times. I have not used their services any of 2013. I found them online when I first came to PA 2 years ago. I found the service rooms to be dingy, dirty and very very outdated. The waiting room is dingy and outdated. Their staff; the massage therapists, change like the weather. The owner, she cannot seem to keep her staff around.. I tried a massage, a facial and reflexology. I was not happy with the services and the environment again is outdated, dingy and just has a dirty feel to it. This was not a relaxing clean environment.
