ABasement Waterproofing Specialists15 years ago, I had another basement waterproofing company, with a local office, work on another area of our residence. When I attempted to contact them to work on this area or tie it into the current setup, I found out that are no longer in business due to Covid 19 issues. The other branch offices would not accept the job since they operate independently and said it would be best to replace the whole system. Kiss that lifetime warranty goodbye. Did not want to replace the whole system. We contacted Basement Waterproofing Specialists thru Angie's list. Thier representative, Dean S., came out the next day, listened to us and not pressure us for a decision. The crew a couple days later, arrived on time (8AM), Worksite preparation & the job began immediately thereafter. The crew of 4 worked like a well oiled machine. They knew what and when actions needed to be completed and they did it efficiently. They cleaned up after they were finished & showed/tested us how the pump should work when the reservoir fills up. The designer blew us away with the images of what our completed project would look like before we even signed. It was impressive and a very professional process. Then, after we made our choice and signed, the process started quickly. They had numerous people follow up with us repeatedly to make sure we were satisfied, answered questions, and despite a messy 2020 with Covid, we were able to get our pool installed on the schedule they estimated from the start. The finished product is gorgeous. The equipment is easy to understand and use. We are still getting follow up calls to check in 3 months after completion! The service department has been prompt. The pictures are after completion, we didn’t have the decking complete yet though. Our experience with Don was exceptional and the end result fantastic. Don was able to take what we wanted and complete it in a way better than we could have imagined. He was competitively priced with the quality of materials and craftsmanship he provided. Once he started work, he continued every day until completed. He was also extremely communicative; he provided a daily recap, walking us through what was completed and the next steps. We always felt in the know and what to expect After the job was complete, he continued to follow up to make sure everything was curing correctly and to see if we had any follow up questions. We highly recommend Don, he has exceptional skill and is fantastic to work with.- David N.
