I have a natural distrust of mechanics.
After all I have been robbed so many times that I hesitate going to them. I
would prefer to do it on my own before allowing some money grabbing mechanic to
touch my vehicle. I received a warning from the local police department for not
having my vehicle inspected. I told you I disliked mechanics :-) So this time I
was force to see someone. I thought about going to the big name places, but
decided to look on Angie's list instead. I'm glad I found Provider name locked. . On the last
day of the warning notice, I called and they managed to squeeze me in for the
inspection, which I was fortunate because they seem to have a lot of customers.
The customer service was great. They allowed me to pet down a couple cats and
dogs on the property. They offered me a free vehicle loaner, which I declined
and took a walk. The inspections came back as PASSED and they rotated my tires
for FREE this time.. Oh my. I mean, I showed up in a suit/tie, and probably had
desperate sucker written on my forward. Mentally I was prepared for them to
tell me a couple things, but these people were actually honest. Imagine that?!
I been told once you find a good mechanic you stick with them. So I am no
longer going to change my own oil, brakes etc. My wife is no longer going to
yell at me for greasing up the garage and taking 5 hrs. for a 30 minute job :-)
I am going to Provider name locked. .

My Jeep would not start. It was towed by a very helpful and knowledgale driver to their repair shop. He actually managed to start it when I had spent lots of time trying unsuccessfully, but at my insistence he turned it off and tried again and it would not start. I was told it would take 90 minutes for him to arrive, but he showed up in less than half of that time. I was also told that they would not be able to look at my Jeep until the following day, but they had it up on their lift that night when I went to their shop to try and get something I had left inside. The next day I stopped in and talked to Provider name locked. (or maybe Provider name locked. ?) and he showed me a bunch of things that he noticed and told me how he was going to go about troubleshooting the problem and what was possibly involved. A previous repair shop had given me a $1,000 estimate to repair my Jeep, but could not fit me into their schedule for a week. MARS got me in and fixed immediately for half of that cost ($512 to be exact) and were so much better at discerning the problem and getting it resolved than any other repair shop I've ever visited. Helpful, competent, and reasonable mechanics. How often do you hear those terms together? I highly recommend them and plan to take all of my vehicles to them for any future services I may need.- Robert R.
When I called, they had the tires in stock and held them for me. The do not take appointments and it was a few weeks before I ever got over to the shop and the tires were still put aside for me. I did not want to wait and dropped off the vehicle. They called me when it was done. Four tires, balanced, and also an oil change. They were kind and courteous. I did not feel pressured at all for any extra's. They even replaced a wiper blade that had been noticed to be torn. I will definitely return when I need new treads.- Jane B.
