I found Provider name locked. through Angie's list, but he had no reviews. No longer satisfied with my previous tailor I decided to take the plunge. Upon arriving I found Provider name locked. engaged in conversation with a woman who I assume was another customer of his. He did not break off his conversation to wait on me until the woman suggested he do so. It was not a long wait, no more than a minute, but that sort of reception irks me. After putting on my first pair of pants and each subsequent time thereafter I had to wait for Provider name locked. to finish speaking to his friend before measuring me. Again, not a tremendous inconvenience, but not something that endears one to a new customer. I stated twice that I wanted one of the pairs of pants to have cuffs, once while Provider name locked. measured me and once again when going over the list of alterations I'd requested. Even so, none of my pants returned with cuffs. The length on all of them is fine, the workmanship seems good and I wasn't charged for the cuffs, though I was charged for three hems. I did not discover the hem until I tried the pants on at home as I was not given an opportunity to try the pants on in-store, something I expect a tailor shop to encourage. Overall it wasn't a bad experience and the alterations seem well done, but Provider name locked. seeming lack of interest in my business combined with his imprecision in following my requests makes it unlikely I will return to his shop.- Philip C.
I have been going to Mr. Provider name locked. for a decade. He was at first a very good bargain. His quality and speed were both good and his price was low. Over the years his quality has gone down. Unfortunately, as his quality has gone down, his price has come up. I've taken several suits to him and had the buttons not line up in the front, seams have been poorly run and I've noticed several other small but irritating problems. I still use him for Provider name locked. things like fitting shirts, putting cuffs on pants and taking in waists but for anything more complex than that I would recommend going elsewhere.- Philip C.
I left the shirts with minimal instructions. Just replace the buttons and have them match. They did a great job in matching the buttons and replacing nearly all the buttons on one shirt. The price was very reasonable.
