  • I cannot say enough good things about S & C Pools.  When my pool service provider unexpectedly quit without notice,  I found my self in a situation where I had a bunch of expensive equipment and no clue regarding its operation.  I walked into S & C pools for help....a lot of help mind you....and they were FANTASTIC....I went from knowing nothing to knowing exactly how to operate and maintain my pool.  I cannot express my gratitude to these guys!!!! I will be using them exclusively from now on for everything pool related.

  • Provider name locked. did a great job installing the liner and equipment for our pool.  We did have a leak; however, through some trial and error he discovered that it was coming from jets in the steps and they were promptly plugged.   As new pool owners we decided to contract with Provider name locked. for a weekly pool service to clean and maintain our pool.  This did not go so well.  The guy representing Provider name locked. appeared and admitted to us that he was a spa guy and not a pool guy.  He was unaware of our pool equipment configuration (i.e. he did not know we had an ionizer, we had to tell him)....Shouldn't he know that, since Provider name locked. installed the equipment?  He would rush through our cleaning and miss things like leaving with the skimmer turned off,  leaving the water level too high in the pool, not vacumning the pool.  He did not check our water quality at all.  I know this because when I pulled out the test kit all of the bottles still had the factory seals on them.  The result of giving Provider name locked. feedback on this resulted in him just quitting the job via a text message apologizing that he could not meet our standards.  Sorry, but I don't think expecting the pool to be clean, the equipment running properly and the water tested is outside the lines of a weekly pool maintenance.  Apparently, that was setting the bar too high.    Now we are here with a lot of high dollar equipment and no training on how to use it.  Provider name locked. did not go through one session with us on how to run the pool or the equipment because he was going to "take care of it".  Now we are left to figure this out on our own, a rather daunting task when you have no experience whatsoever with pools.   I will take some responsibility for this as I should not have trusted someone else to "take care of it"  and asked that he show me how.    If you need equipment installed or a liner done, he is fabulous.....If you want someone to maintain your pool on a weekly basis....he is subpar.  I would not recommend his pool service.

  • The service man was delayed due to a project on the first scheduled visit but the owner called ahead of time to set up another appointment.  This was a non-critical issue so this was no problem.  The tech arrived the next day 30 minutes early and suggested replacing the valve and faucet with a straight pipe.  We never use this valve or faucet and the repair would be much easier and cheaper for me.  He also did a thorough inspection and found another leak I was not aware of.  He replaced a section of pipe to repair that. I purchased the spa 15 years ago from Provider name locked. Spa's and they have been completely professional and responsive since I owned it.  We had a major problem with the heater two days before Christmas, 2009.  I was going to drain it and let it set through the holidays.  I call Provider name locked. (the owner) and he said his tech was in the area.  The tech came by and fixed the heater leak within 2 hours.  I did not have to drain, clean, and refill the spa.  This saved me some badly needed time during the holidays.
