  • Provider name locked. arrived and seemed very nice. My dogs are havaneses. I keep them both short except for their faces and heads which like to keep long. I told him  first one needed her coat a little shorter but leave the head long. When he brought her back he had skinned her from top to bottom, even shaving her ears. I asked him why and he said after he shaved her body he I not think the head looked right with the body. In other words he did not care what I had said. It will take months for her to grow out.. After that I told him not to cut the other one at all, just a bath and nails trimmed. He charged 110.00 to shave one and bathe the other.

I will never use him again . very very upset.

  • After spending time with our 9 lb. dog, he returned the animal and stated he didn't want to groom our dog anymore. Our dog was traumatized and wouldn't eat for two days, the grooming was uneven and looked shaved and we had to have our Vet finish trimming his toenails. For these less than quality services he charged $50.00.

  • One of our dogs is a long-haired dachshund. we've used a total of three groomers in two cities in the years we've had him, and we've never experienced what happened at Provider name locked. .

In discussing his haircut, I said, "We don't show him, so don't worry about shaping his tail and ears." I thought I said, "Just a haircut."

Well, when I came back to pick the dogs up, he had been shaved. He looked like an entirely different dog. He seemed to feel fine, and he's still the same dog, but it will take some getting used to. I am surprised that they went with completely shaving him. Normally when we bring in the long-haired dog, he gets a haircut. CUT. Ears, tail, and Provider name locked. trimmed and his long hair made shorter. This was really different.

He seems happy enough, and I'm sure he will appreciate it during the hot weather. If you want to make sure your long-haired dog doesn't get shaved, though, I would probably specify that up front.
