    Xpress Roofing & Construction, LLC
Xpress Roofing and Construction repaired and replaced our entire roof due to hail damage They also assisted with the replacement of some of our gutters on the front of our house. They were very professional in all aspects of their work from the initial consultation to the end result. I would recommend them highly without any reservations. They are true professionals!

    Robinson Construction Service Corp
JC and Freddy did a phenomenal job with replacing my roof after the hail storm on 5/31/19. I asked 3 companies to come and give me a quote. All three were about the same on the price ($7500). Robinson construction was by far the most thorough with their assessment. Everything was printed out on a detail estimation sheet. I decided to upgrade a bunch of things, therefore, the price ended up higher. They let me know about timeline, color selection, how payment was handle, etc. The project was to be paid in 3 installments (deposit, during job, and at job completion). I decided to upgrade several things with the job. They replaced roof, install copper flashing valleys, and around the chimney. In addition, they installed soffits on 3 sides of the house to make the roof cooler. When they roof was replaced in 2007, that construction company never installed the ridge vents. It was installed with this job. They had a crew of about 5 people. They showed up on time, worked til around 6, and cleaned up after each day. It took them about 4-5 total days to do the whole thing due to multiple phases and weather. When everything was done, they installed the gutter guards last. I'd highly recommending them for roofing jobs.

The job went very smoothly. Estimate was competitive and the thing that swayed me was Chris' (the owner's) professionalism. Quality & attention to detail was second to none on the roof & new gutter/leaf guard installation. Would highly recommend. Phillip Howard

    Triad Roofing Services
I went by the word of mouth on how great they were in 2014 and had the roof done in the fall of 2014 by them and as I can remember they charged about the same as their estimate. I called them back in the spring of 2016 due to roof leaking in one spot. They came out and told us the gutters were not cleaned out and as I can remember they cleaned one section of gutters and sent me a bill for $125.00. When I complained about being charged they cancelled the billing. But they did not fix the leak as it continued to leak each down poor. In the fall of 2018 two trees of mine came down on the roof and the insurance company came out and gave me an estimate on removing the two trees and re doing the roof . It took about 60 % of the roof when the trees came on the roof. Triad Roofing came out and estimated the cost at about the same as the insurance company so I told them to do the project. Their employees came out mid November 2018 and re roofed. By the way they claimed not to be able to speck English and left the day after putting on the shingles on the roof. I asked when they were going to complete the job and they told me no speck English and left. I then checked on their work and noticed some of the wood was not replaced and could rain into the house. A couple of days later I voice mailed a message to them that the work was not completed and that a leak had started where they had worked. I believe Travis came out and checked every thing in my message including the new leak and the leak from 2014-2016. He could not find the new leak and fixed finally the old leak.I received a bill for the full amount the end of February, 2019. I called and left a message for Travis that the rear gutter was not replaced nor the leaf guards. The leaf guards the employees took with them had not been replaced. He called and said the gutter only cost $4.00 a foot and would issue a reductions on the bill. I told him the gutter and leaf guards would cost more and was told not to indicate his employees stole the leaf guards. I told him I was paying the entire bill and he hung up on me. This is way I am unable to give them a good review.

    Unique Construction Services
I came across Unique Construction Services UCS while searching for a local company to take on these repairs as soon as possible. For starters, UCS customer service was absolutely amazing, they were able to get a tech out that same evening to further look over the damages and within 48 hours I was given an excellent cost to repair. They were able to have repairs underway quickly and were complete within a matter of days despite the severe weather. The techs that completed the work were given very high praise from the manager of the store and are very pleased with the repairs, as well as the Corp heads funding the repairs. I will certainly be using UCS in the future and HIGHLY recommend Unique Construction Services to anyone out there needing construction work done.

    Canales Roofing LLC
I wanted to share my experience and reference for THE BEST roofer. We got 6....yep count 'em 6 quotes....for our roof replacement AND I know more about roof replacement than I ever cared to know. We had all the usuals....Hammer Time, Skywalker, Roofing Pro, ABC Roofing and AF Roofing. All with varying quotes and varying ideas about the roofing process. Here are some VERY IMPORTANT things you need to know if you need to replace your roof. 1) If you don't already have one....you must have a ridge vent installed....if you don't it will void your shingle warranty from the manufacturer. In order for a ridge vent to operate properly you must also have soffits in your roof eaves. Intake (soffits), outtake (ridge vent). If you just have a ridge vent with no soffits you will risk mold and mildew build up in your attic. We had some of the prospective roofers tell us that "power fans" in the roof or fans at the gable vents would also work....THEY WILL NOT!. We are installing soffit vents ourselves....it is very simple and cost all of $20.00. 2) The shingle warranty from the manufacturer DOES NOT include workmanship. The roofing contractors we spoke to offered 1 year, 5 - 10 years for an extra charge, 5 years or 10 years included in the price 2) Every single roofing contractor of the 5 listed above admittedly uses mexican sub-contractors. Some even go to Lowes in the morning and solicit general laborers that they do not know anything about....their skill level....their background...nothing. They get a price from the sub-contractor and mark it up and that is your quotation. 3) In the case of Roofing Pro, they did not even inspect our roof; but, were quick to point our that any unseen damage would be extra. The salesman only wanted to present his presentation to my husband; because, clearly a women didn't need to worry her silly little head about a roof. What he didn't realize is that I have remodeled 5 houses as a single woman....I know much more about it than my husband does. Bad assumption on his part. They are also the company that offers only a 1 year workmanship warranty. We eliminated them early on. 4) One of the roofing contractors told me he would pay me $100.00 cash for reviews. REALLY? Although I understand that as a business owner you must make a profit, we had "Apples to Apples" quotes ranging from $14,000.00 - $6,800.00. If $6,800.00 is what it costs the sub-contractor (who is making a profit) and you the roofing contractor are marking up their price by this kind or margin and adding NO value to the process, this appears to me to border on exploitation rather than just good business practices. So after that long winded description and take aways regarding the process we went through....Here is our roofing contractor recommendation... Canales Roofing!!!!! They use their own contractors....Oscar (the owner) is a roofer, not a salesman. He is honest, hardworking and knows what he is doing. He wants to do a great job at a fair price. AND he was the only contractor to offer a 10 Year workmanship warranty INCLUDED in the price of the roof. There is no nickel and dimeing with Oscar. He showed up when he said he would, did what he said he would do, his work was impeccable and my yard was immaculate when he was finished. If I could give Canales Roofing LLC 10 stars I would without hesitation.

    Big Anchor Roofing & Gutters
Great job, completed 9/2017. Very professional, efficient and timely, with no pressure tactics. Replaced all gutters and installed larger downspouts to handle heavy rain. Also purchased the top-of-the-line leaf-guard which has been amazing - 11 months later and the gutters are still clean, with no leaf debris inside to block the water. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again, and would definitely recommend them to others.

    Haley Hahn Home Solutions
If I could, I would give this contractor a half-star or no-star. He and his workers were absolutely the most incompetent and completely dishonest. I contacted HALEY HAHN HOME SOLUTIONS (aka GUTTER PROTECTION / GUTTER TOPPER OF THE TRIAD / HALEY HOME SOLUTIONS) thru Angie's List for a simple deck renovation project. The owner, Mr. Chuck Haley, assured me they could easily handle the job. From the very beginning, he failed to do anything as promised, from repeatedly missing the start date and project timelines to arranging for Ronny, his "master carpenter," to view the project beforehand or discuss his plan changes. To make a very long story short, the 2 week project turned into more than 2 months, and after getting my second payment, they abruptly stopped work and then abandoned the project in a more than half unfinished state, oddly coinciding with my planned surgery. Lessons learned: Always have a contractor's license on the contract or letterhead; Do not agree to any partial payment prior project completion, with the exception of a small deposit; and understand whether the contractor will USE his license for purposes of permit or will do the job as unlicensed (for projects less than $30k).

    Mid Atlantic Roofing Systems Inc.
John was awesome to work with. He took the time to explain specific things that were necessary to replace my roof. Then, we realized that there was more to do with the gutters. The roof was completed, and I couldn't be happier. Now, we are on to getting the gutters taken care of. TY John and team!

Contractor took money in advance then only completed one phase (porch) of a three phase project. Walked away with our money and never returned. We filed a small came action and were awarded a judgment which Guilford County, NC has not been able to collect on our behalf. We have since learned that the operator of this company, Chuck Haley let his license expire back in 2015.
