    Dorothy McGinty
Dorothy responded very quickly to my request through Angie's List. I appreciated that she at no time pushed for me to purchase. Instead, she took the time to fully explain each option then asked me what I needed and at what cost. Very professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to purchase insurance.

    PRIORITY HEALTH
last yr nov 2017 we were told to start a new policy in order to save $70 a month. so we did and we payed for the hole yr 2018 in advance in Nov. needless to say when Dec came they forgot to take the money out of the account like they have been for the last 11 months because some how the policy was canceled. Jan cam and the policy was back on for the new policy, however at the end of each month the policy gets canceled even though it was payed in full back in Nov of 2017 no one knows how to apply some of the pre paid money to this account and fix this so each month we have to call in and go through everything to get it turned back on sometimes two times a month the incompetency is beyond words on how a company this big can't fix a small problem like this they see the extra money in the account but they can not stop it from shutting off really

    Rite Aid Pharmacy
I had to leave my pharmacy because my husband plus his lawyer changed the pharmacy they work with. So I really miss my old pharmacist, I like him a lot. The particular pharmacist there, his name is Andy, was just so great. I would come in and he would just fill my prescription right away before I even hand in the prescription. He knew his customers and he had time to give advice. He was really helpful. So I had to leave him, so I was unhappy about that. I would use them again to the point that if I do need a new prescription, I will get it at the other pharmacy but I will go and talk to this pharmacist to try it because he knows me. He's very thoughtful and very helpful.

    Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital
They now have a whole pediatric hospital. My daughter basically spent half her life in the hospital and the pediatric nurses treated her like a princess. They went above and beyond. They are open 24/7.

    Caring.com
If you are homebound due to caring for someone that you cannot leave home alone and don't have access to someone who will stay with your loved one for you, then caring.com is just what you need. It is so liberating knowing there are others out there who are having the same struggles caring for a loved one with dementia. Just knowing you're no longer alone is a godsend. You can also access resources in your area for nursing homes, hospice, day care centers. Caring.com has helped me keep my sanity while caring for my mother. We don't judge anyone and any topic is open for discussion. One thing we don't allow is guilt. I have developed real friendships with some of the caregivers I have met online.

    Blue Cross Blue Shield
It took the provider almost 3 months to process a simple claim for a vaccination. Claim was lost. No one could explain what happened. One rep said they don't process claims until the customer calls. Some people failed to return messages. Others promised to look into the issue and reply, but never did. After multiple calls to multiple people the claim was partially paid. It was only a $75 claim, but the cost was not the issue. The issue was the poor customer service and apparent lack of efficient operations.

    Priority Health
I don't go Priority health but I go to the doctors that they recommend, I go to Medicare they them selves o not perform medical procedures they just manage the accounts, I pay them 24000$ a month. They just have a list of doctors. They do not provide medical care, they manage it.

    Metro Heart & Vascular
The doctor was rude and the nurse told me to shush. I was assaulted and humiliated. The next day, I had to go by ambulance to a different hospital where the doctor said I was not treated properly for my illness.

    Priority Health
Excellent website and great staff. Always explained my queries very well and till now never had billing problems. Though pricy but i think all insurances are pricy now a days. For the bill of 15000 during pregnancy had to pay just 1500. Overall very pleased

    United Health Care
Terrible coverage. Terrible for offices to bill to. As a matter of fact, I work in two medical offices and neither office accepts our insurance because they are so awful to deal with. When calling on the phone, it takes forever to actually get someone on the phone and the automated system just hangs up on you. If you do get to speak to someone, they reference you back to their website to answer any of your questions... why they can't just address the questions right there... I don't know! I have gotten so many bills from providers that should have been covered but instead are sent to me. It's a pain to call back and forth between the two to get things straightened out. At times I just give up and pay the bills that I know are supposed to be covered by my insurance but for whatever reason there is a coding issue of some sort and everyone points a finger in the opposite direction. I wish I could switch to another plan, but we're stuck. All I have learned with UHC is to plan on them not paying for anything and set aside a good amount of money in our Flex account! :(
A few examples if you would like to read on... for eyes... we aren't offered any extra vision plan... only our medical that apparently will cover one eye exam a year... but if you need glasses or contacts... they give you absolutely nothing! For maternity, we are supposed to have a birthing class covered. We are still fighting with the insurance company for coding reasons after 9 months after the class was taken! It's covered, I had a baby 6 months ago, how can they deny paying for the class?!?
