  • Average wait time is about 30 minutes in waiting room and 15 minutes in exam room. I suggested his assistant let people know what the wait time would be so they could get a snack or take a walk. Maybe use those vibrating things like restaurants to let you know your table is ready.

  • ,This doctor, as I have come to find out, routinely overbooks his patients.  My surgery was scheduled for 12:00 p.m.  I was instucted to call an hour before to see if the doctor was on time.  I was told that he was and to come as planned.  I later learned that he was already 2 hours behind at the time of my call.  While waiting for a procedure that was to take about 90 minutes I saw that he was going to run overtime.  I asked one of the female assistants to call my wife and let her know that I would be late so she wouldn't show up to take me home.  They failed to do that and she arrived as initially planned.  Continuing with this same day,  I arrived for the surgery only to be told at that time and for the first time, that Dr. Provider name locked. was not in my insurance network.  Before they would admit me to the surgical prep room, I had to pay them over $1,000 right then and there.  Dr. Provider name locked. is not the only orthopedic surgeon in this town.  Had I known that information up front, I would have gone elsewhere.  After waiting for 4 hours for a "scheduled" 12:00 surgery, I asked about coming back the next day, if his schedule allowed.  He was back logged and no one could or would say when he might be ready for me.  I was rescheduled to return the next morning at 7:30.  As I was preparing to leave, one of the surgical assistants came back from the operating room with a message from Provider name locked. .  Simply put, if I were to leave now, he wiould not see me ever again as a patient.  Arrogance is the one word that comes to mind.  I had experienced some problems with my ring finger on that same hand in the weeks that followed the surgery and made 4 attempts for an appointment to either review the existing x-rays or take new ones.  The PA had already stated that he saw nothing wrong from the x-rays he had previously taken, but I knew that was not the case.  After my 4th failed attempt for a call-back and appointment, I went outside of their facility and had x-rays taken at another lab.  The report came back with stating that there was a fracture, that went without a proper diagnosis, that had begun to heal.  I dropped a copy of the report with dvd pictures off at the doctor's office and received a call later that afternoon from Provider name locked. stating that unless I was willing to pay someone to look at the report, it wasn't going to happen.  Evidence of a misdiagnosis, with only the functional use of my index finger and thumb, which essentially is, the effective loss of use of my left hand and I'm suppose to pay somebody to review their error? I have no faith or trust in this facility, its assistants or member surgeons, from this point on, based on my experience from June 3rd to date.

  • During my hysterectomy, my surgeon accidentally cut my ureter. Dr. Provider name locked. scrubbed into the surgery and repaired it at the time. That's a lot better for me, as the patient, but apparently, much more of a patient for the urologist. I don't do well with general anesthesia, so I was particularly happy about that.
This obviously wasn't something I was prepared for, and Dr. Provider name locked. and his colleagues did a great job of answering all my questions and making sure I was totally taken care of. Since I had forgotten the ureter from my old high school anatomy days, I had lots of questions. He was wonderfully patient. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.
