AIrish Carpentry & ConstructionThe whole job went great, Rory, the owner provided a bid and contract on the agreed work before work was started. The job expanded as we made changes and improvements to the design. We agreed to changes and necessary increases associated with the change orders and agreement. Rory was always honest and fair. All phases passed city inspections with flying colors. Rory was punctual and we always felt he provided the best service and for our project. We highly recommend this company and if we remodel in the future we look forward to working with Rory.- Mark S.

FPlata ConstructionStarted job 03/04/20. Contractor agreed to meet us at lowes to pick what we wanted. Never happened. Sent pictures of shower we wanted. Contractor sent us a different style that was suppose to be better. We went with it. Came in cracked, had to return. Received another one, little did the worker know that it had to be cut. Should of just kept the first one. Trouble started with dry wall. We asked for an Orange peel. They sprayed the texture, they were going to scrap the texture down. They pained the walls, well they left large tips that you could peel them off with your hand and sharp points. So Plata came back in and textured the wall again. Worker came with this guy. I had Plata come look at it and Jeremy himself said, well the guy said he knew how to do plasterer. I guess he didn't. Made a mess on the walls. So then Plata comes back, I showed him the type of painting they were doing. Bad painting. Twice. The Plata comes back and tells me that his employees don't want to come back and work in my house. Asked me if I would sign a paper that we didn't owe each other money. 2-3 things were to be fixed and that he would give me $100.00 back for the dry wall work. Worker came to fix 2 things. Never heard back from him. So, I took pictures of all the bad work his company did. Filed a claim against Plata Construction to the State Board. Have a claim# on him. Then Jeremy called me 2 weeks ago and said he got a call from the State board. Asked me what I wanted, I told Jeremy that I want the wall fixed. He said that he would think about it. Have not heard back from him. I got this company from Angie's list.- Martin M.

ASierra ConstructionOur experience with this service provider was just outstanding. He fixed our doors in nothing flat for a very reasonable price, and referred us to two other service providers who would be more appropriate to the repairs we need than he would. ANorthwest ExteriorsThe only odd thing here is that most door companies do not do the painting, but, he actually had his wife come out and paint the door. She was really nice and did a good job. It was just weird. She however, did not paint the thresh holes, but, I am not one to yell. She gave me a hug and everything when she left. Just thought it was a little unprofessional. Other than that, everything went fine and I would rate them highly.- DONNA H.

FValley Wrought IronIn early March we ordered a security screen door. A man came out and took measurements. Then the pandemic hit. After the 1st lifting of restrictions, they came out a few times, sporadically, without notice to measure and remeasure; each time promising the door would be permanently installed that week. The last time they came out in July, measuring, stating the door would be installed that week. After asking 3Xs since then when they planned to install the door, we have not received a response. Absolutely a terrible way of doing business and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. We still need a security screen door - any recommendations?- K. P.

AClovis GlassThe personnel at the office made a good estimate, and sent a worker to investigate. Investigation proved the office estimate to be accurate. The work was scheduled and completed within a few days. Were very pleased with the workers and the work done. Basically the job was to remove and replace the bottom track and the wheels on the bottom of the sliding glass door.- James O.

AThey were great! I want to say it was like a week and they were done. They gave me a 50 year warranty when everybody else I was talking to only had a 30 year. AThis is in addition to provided service at home: I'm a disabled individual and travel is always difficult and dangerous for me. But on my last trip to Las Vegas I discovered a good service provided at Treasure Island, one of seven hotels that provides Surehands Ceiling tracks. I liked it because of its ease of use and safety it provides and its installment by Lift and Specialists who maintains this quality equipment and train hotel engineers who are ready to help around the clock.
