  • During the years Drs. Pa and Provider name locked. (both female; last name pronounced "Her") have referred me to appropriate specialists.  Both speak unaccented English and have attractive personalities.   Fresno has a fairly large Hmong/Laotian population, represented among their patients.

  • From the beginning, I sensed communication problems; Dr. Provider name locked. seemed uncomfortable discussing the pros and cons of various treatments.  He referred me for a very expensive specialist checkup which -- when the results were in -- both the specialist and I agreed probably weren't indicated simply on the basis of family medical history.  Dr. Provider name locked. does not use e-mail.  He mailed me scribbled reports, <Provider name locked. >e.g., Provider name locked. >"All your labs are OK."  I move around a lot, and try to keep good records.  I had to return in person to his office to pick up a printed copy of the lab results.

At our first two meetings, I complained to Dr. Provider name locked. of frequent leg cramps.  Later last year, the FDA issued a warning connecting certain statin drugs to muscle problems for some users.  I only found out about this after I sent in to Medco for more pills and they sent back a reduced Provider name locked. .  I sent Medco a note asking why; a pharmacist called and told me about the FDA warning.  He told me that the reduced Provider name locked. had been authorized by Dr. Provider name locked. .  I consider it problematic that Dr. Provider name locked. apparently does not follow medical news closely enough to have made the connection between my leg pains and an elevated Provider name locked. of the drug, and flatly unacceptable that he did not get in touch with me after Medco alerted him to a possible problem.  Needless to say, I am changing my primary physician; in fact, the principal reason that I have joined Angie's List is to research other possibilities.

  • Very well.  She listien to my concerns and delt with it.  She told the truth - there is no magic pill for bad air (there was construction in my home and dust flying all around).  Either get out or if I could not then she gave me some good ideas to mimimize the effects.
