    Clear Creek Home Improvements
Kevin and his team did a fantastic job on our project. His team is prompt and works when promised, and is very considerate to clean up the necessary debris and general mess created by a large scale project like this. Kevin is a man of his word, and can be counted on to provide exactly the services contracted, and he is great handling unexpected contingencies that pop up in a remodeling construction project. I definitely recommend Clear Creek Home Improvements for any projects you are considering. I plan to contract with them again in the future.

Excellent! We ended up buying another house that will need some updating and I will definitely be going with Terry, David and their crew. These guys were honest, realistic, helpful, easy to communicate with, and did a great job overall. They helped us save money where we could, we never had a question of when portions of the remodel would be done because they stayed in constant communication with us. Terry and David knew we needed to stay within a certain budget and accommodated that and stuck to the itemized quote as close as possible. If I needed to make changes to a higher upgrade, they communicated the cost difference. There were no surprises. The crew was so honest that I had left a plant on the back porch that I meant to get and one of crew took it to take care of it. I told David about it and that I meant to get it but kept forgetting, so he talked to his crew...and they returned it! My beautiful yucca in my favorite pot. Ive worked with other contractors in the past that would not have been that honest. They remodeled my kitchen, new cabinets, new island, new hard woods, window replacements, deck replacement, and paint. The work is absolutely gorgeous! These guys will do you right. They will treat you with respect, as long as you return the favor. They are talented and bring out the whole crew to go over the project before starting. I loved hearing them go back and forth to find the right way and most cost efficient way to get the job done.

    Bantex Construction Inc
Overall our experience with Bantex was very positive. I would definitely recommend Bantex to my friends. I first became aware of the company by chance. Bantex was remodeling a house that I drive past on my way to work. The house had been under remodel by a different contractor for quite some time and didn't look great. Then one day a Bantex sign popped up in the yard and work went fast. That house looked great at the end of that project. I snapped a picture of the Bantex sign and gave them a call for a flooring replacement. They came in just under another contractor I had bid and based on what I had seen, I wanted to give them a try. I'm glad I did. I had a very tight deadline as at the time I was 9 months pregnant but wanted new floors before the baby. They finished the floors just in time and the floors looked great! It was 1,000 sqft of porcelain tile. I wish we had done it sooner! Now in 2019 we decided to move and the new home was a bit of a fixer upper. I honestly thought it was going to be my Money Pit. Thankfully, Terry and David kept that from happening. I had several contractors and subcontractors bid on the remodel. Terry wasn't the lowest, but based on my previous experience with him, I was glad to hire him for the job. Here is an overview of the major items we had done: wall knocked out to create opening into family room, door closed off from laundry room, new closet created, flooring replaced with carpet and tile, new kitchen backsplash, new external exhaust added in kitchen (also had to add new cabinet cover for the vent), new toilets installed, new door made for bathroom, new venting created and installed in master bath, new HVAC system with duct replacement, remove and replace insulation with spray foam, whole house interior paint (including cabinetry and trim), natural gas added/plumbed (didn't have gas before), electrical work, drywall repair, and several other smaller items. All work was performed very timely. Again, we were on a tight deadline to move into the home. There were a few times I wasn't 100% satisfied and I was willing to accept small things that I just didn't like, but as soon as I told Terry I wasn't 100% happy - he was on it. It's clear that Terry and David both genuinely care about customer satisfaction. The best thing is that even though I added many items along the way (door widening, new thresholds, moving electrical, adding gas, and more!), Terry and David kept me on budget and on schedule. They are very upfront and honest about the cost and the time. They care about the quality of work and would gladly make changes to ensure a satisfied customer. As I said, I would definitely recommend Bantex to any of my friends and family for just about any home projects.

Empire General Contracting of Texas, LLC
Carlos and the Empire GC crew are amazing! Their work is absolutely incredible, they were super efficient and their price was more than fair. This was our third major remodel project in as many homes and this was our BEST experience to date. Carlos and Empire GC are efficient, he is a man that is true to his word and I would recommend his company to anyone that is looking for a kitchen and/or bathroom remodel. As a testament to

I thought they were fine. They were charging by the day and that didn't really work for me. I had someone else do an estimate but I never heard back from them but overall I thought they did fine. I liked them.

Terry and his crews did an exceptional job, from the start to finish. Terry was readily available to answer all questions and was honest about pricing. He assured we were satisfied with the job before any payments were made.

We love Bantex! Terry and David are extremely professional and detail oriented. All of their subs are quality pros and well trusted. Everyone at Bantex is kind, respectful and just plain friendly! Not to mention their prices are consistently lower than other contractors weve bid out. They will go out of their way to get the lowest price with the best quality. We have used Bantex for multiple jobs at two houses: a master bath and closet addition, remodeling a kitchen hallway to include a pantry and a closet, and an entire house remodel and complete gut/new kitchen. We know the guys very well and wouldnt use anyone else. Bantex is always my first call for projects, small or large.

    Clear Creek Home Improvements
Kevin had done a bathroom remodel for us in the past that we were very pleased with so we chose him again for this particular project. He is fair and honest to do business with. He was at the job every day & made sure we knew what was happening that day. All the workmen who came to our home were respectful and professional. If there was anything we werent happy with he made it right. Our main bathroom was very dated (1960s). They gutted the bathroom and replaced everything - floor tile, tile surrounding shower/bath, countertops, window, lighting, faucets/fixtures, custom vanity and linen cabinet. It looks fabulous - our only mistake was not taking before pictures! We will definitely use Clear Creek Home Improvements again.

Handyman Matters of Fort Worth SW
Handyman was the middle bid of 3. Didnt accept lowest due to their inability to start for 2 weeks. Parts of this job were for an insurance claim and we were under a deadline for completing the work. Positives: 1) Received an email when each employee was on the way. 2) Went above and beyond on a couple of items: a) Screwed a beam back to the ceiling that was pulling away on both ends and had big gaps visible no longer as concerned beam might fall on us; b) With house built in 1962, a lot of original supplies no longer available - when no similar trim boards were found at several stores, the owner found some the correct thickness at the Habitat Restore and used his own equipment to round off the edges; with only the description of one of the workers, he was able to match them very closely great job!! Were so thrilled to have the water stains gone and the majority of cracks in the house patched! A few unexpected items or changes to original bid they werent too happy about but dealt with: 1) They expected to paint everything white. We selected colors for the walls, a neutral color for the trim and crown molding, then ceiling white for all ceilings. This took a lot more work and time which we gladly paid for. 2) A previous foundation repair left a wall in the kitchen with a quick-fix of sheetrock, which covered an outlet that had been removed and the wiring pushed back into the electrical box. They informed us this was not to code and they would either have to put a cover over the box or put in a new outlet. We wanted the outlet, which had to be purchased and installed by Handyman. 3) I asked if they could remove the trim board on a kitchen door which was used as our growth chart for our kids and others they werent sure they could remove it in one piece, but they were able to do so. Happy Mommy!! Negatives: 1) Not covering floor and often not covering furniture and countertops with plastic or paper as wed been told they would a drop cloth was moved around during painting, but didnt cover a large area (or else the drop cloth didnt always have the clean side down) and paint wound up on several areas of the carpet. 2) A rocking chair and some of their equipment was left each day on our mattress, without protecting it had dirt, some paint, and hand and footprints on our Tempur-Pedic mattress (see photo). 3) Theyd asked if it was okay for them to leave their equipment inside and I told them they could leave it in the bedroom again, no paper or plastic covered the floor and most furniture only one of two dressers had plastic on the top. Left a shop vac, a bucket of water, and other things directly sitting on the carpeted floor and furniture (see photo). 4) Used our master bathroom asked permission the first AM with a sense of urgency, then just continued to use it thereafter without asking. We had to clean toilet, handle, doorknobs, and sometimes the floor of paint, something gooey, etc., each night. There are 7 fast food restaurants, a gas station with convenience store, and a Home Depot all within two blocks of our house. 5) One of the workers took time to prep with protective tape and when he helped the other guy prep for whatever they used for crack repairs one day (that left a fine dust on everything) and also to help him finish up painting on the last day, had plastic covering nearly everything. The other one (who did the majority of painting) didnt use the tape as often I honestly didnt see him use it at all, but he kept our bedroom door shut most of the time he was working in there, so Im going to hope that he used it sometimes. The only plastic I saw when he painted was whatever the first guy had put on something (see photo of him painting over my uncovered kitchen counter with my canisters and a lot of stuff Id moved from our bedroom on it). 6) There is still a fine dust on a lot of things. I know they tried to keep it cleaned up but its nearly impossible. If Id known about it, I would have covered things with sheets or plastic ahead of time. 7) The finished painting job was very disappointing. There were a lot of short cuts, booboos, white dots showing on walls where paint wasn't thick enough, and smears or drips of paint on the carpet, etc. (see photos). The last 2 days the main painter was mostly on his own and did a lot of complaining about having to paint with a paintbrush and hoped theyd send him some help. He didnt seem to be making much progress on his own, but when the other guy showed up later in the afternoon of the last day, he kicked it in high gear, running around with urgency something he wasnt seen doing previously. The last days work was really rushed and obviously not the best quality because of that. There are a lot of things we will ask them to come back to correct, clean up, or touch up. However, they haven't even contacted us to schedule touch ups from their first job for us (exterior wood repairs and painting) completed more than a month ago. We wont hire them again at least not for painting. We definitely wont be recommending them.

    Home Front Renovations
You are always a little skeptical when dealing with new contractors , will the job be done right is the price going to be fair etc . Well this is one of those that everything was done right . Michael and Jennifer worked with us to make sure what we wanted then made it come true . The crew they sent to preform the work was outstanding . I would like to give a special thanks to Patrick , Alex ,Andrew , Lucas and Anthony . These guys do amazing work . Their work not only reflects their skill level but their passion for the work they produce . They took a tired old kitchen were you went to make your dinner and transformed it into a room that you want to be in , it's such a pleasure to be in there making dinner now , that you don't want to leave . The new flooring , cabinets , lighting , the relocation of the stove , just brings everything together and makes you want to whistle as you work . The crew showed up when they were suppose to be there and they stay within our budget except for the changes we made . If we do another project we have no doubt who we will call . Thanks to everyone for a amazing job .
