Of the 18 day stay, nine days had consistent TV turn off problems while the TV was on. Provider name locked. failed to provide daily consistent TV to my room for those nine days. Dining room uncomfortable cold with 71/72 temperature. No Microwave in Provider name locked. room to heat lukewarm coffee every morning. Biscuits very hard & dry. Gravy was soup like. Service employees could not speak English or understand English enough to carry on a conversation. Three maids would walk away while you were speaking to them. No soap dish in shower. No shower floor mat to prevent slipping & falling on previous stay. Was not able to shower for last two days of previous stay. Mgr finally provided shower mats for current stay after numerous complaints of almost falling. Safety issue with a handyman shaking cable & electrical plug to wall outlet to get TV to come back on. Safety/Security issues with homeless/illegal aliens coming in back door. Mgr has poor communication skills, one of her employees told me it was not her policy to provide owner or her supervisor contact information.
Mgr sent an employee to assist me in Computer room who rudely ask me "What do you want?" I ask her to tell me how to close a window on the computer, she reached over & took the mouse out of my hand, clicked & closed the window instead of responding to my question on how to do it. I did not give the person permission to touch me or remove the mouse from my right hand. I am handicap & this behavior is extremely offensively rude to be treated with such disrespect.
I was told by a front desk employee that the Hotel Manager wanted me to unplug everything in the room to use my 110/220, 60/50 HZ power chair charger. This was told to me after 12 days of staying in the hotel. The TV power never went off when I charged my chair. I also used the bathroom wall plug that had nothing else plug in while I charged my chair. My charger is UL approved for home/travel. I have never had any place I stayed to make such an unreasonable request & lack of common sense concerning a UL approved charger. This statement was anti-handicap friendly & clearly indicated the poor communication skills & hostility of the Hotel Manager concerning my handicap ability to be bending over & unplugging everything in the room in order to charge my power chair.
I changed the value grade from a 'D' to an 'F' foir the failure to provide TV availability for use each day I was there. They brought in a new TV but it did the same thing the other TV did, going off at different times while the TV was on. The Hotel had an opportunity to reach out when they apologized for the unsatisfactory stay at their hotel with an adjustment for the 9 days of no TV. I left it up to them to make a sincere effort to adjust & refund a portion of my daily room cost. They chose to do nothing, which is exactly why they received an 'F'. They do the talk, but the performance is seriously lacking.- John T.
