Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Fort Worth

    Rendon Septic Service
Outstanding, the price was reasonable and the service was great. Not only did they pump and cleaning my tanks but they were very informative on giving me knowledge of my system and how it performs, and what I needed to focus on to keep my tanks cleaned and in great working condition. They really surprised me because they went far and beyond what they were paid to do. I will recommend them to everyone

The inspection went well and I was impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness. The report was detailed with pictures, which made it easier to understand. I will definitely let my friends and family know I trust this company.

This company is great.  They came out and dug out the old lid , pumped out the tank, and replaced with a new lid .  They also had to reconnect a pvc pipe that had broken when the lid fell in.  They have the equipment and the know-how to do the job.  The workers were very courteous and really personable.  They were fun to visit with and appeared to enjoy each other's company.  They worked so well together.  You could tell that they knew what they were doing.  The owner answered the questions we had and we talked about what we might face in the future with our aging system.  We will definitely use this company for any other work we need.  I highly recommend this company and will be telling my neighbors about it.

The driver called about 25 minutes before they arrived.  Once here, they quickly provided the service, and instructions on how to turn the aerobic system back on.  Quick, clean and efficient.

They are one of your star people on Angie's List. They come out on the top of your list. You do not have to do such service very often and so what I did was I pinned their name with a magnet on the refrigerator. I was very pleased with them. They were great. I would recommend them highly.

I telephone owner on Saturday morning and left a message he called back almost immediately.  In our discussion on the telephone, I found him to be very pleasant and knowledgeable about septic systems and he patiently answered my questions.  I explained my house was just purchased as a foreclosed home and I did not know how long the septic system had been down.  He informed me that he would send his workmen out Monday morning and they would inspect and pump my septic for $175.  I asked the owner if he would be there so I could ask questions.  He told me the men were knowledgeable and would explain the system to me and demonstrate what I needed to do for maintenance.  Two workmen arrived on Monday morning as promised.  They discovered a broken lid on one of the tanks that was covered with a piece of plywood wrapped in plastic.  I called the owner about what I could do to get the lid repaired and he explained to me that he didn’t do that kind of work.  (WOW, I thought to myself who did I hire here.  From what I gather it appears to me they specialize in PUMPING ONLY).  The owner told me I could hire one of his two workmen to do the job on the weekend and he would be reasonable in price and do good work.  The worker gave me a price of $600 and I asked him what he was going to do for that price.  He explained he would hand dig a 5ft diameter hole to expose the top of the tank.  He would then place a board over the tank and pour concrete on top to make a lid.  He told me he would insert a 4 inch pipe so the take could be pumped in the future.  He told me others would charge me more than $1000 replace the lid.  It seemed a bit much but I agreed to his terms and scheduled him to come on Saturday and repair the lid.  The men did not do much of an inspection as the owner had told me they would – I looked at the work order the men had (I assume written by the owner) and it mentioned nothing about inspection (only pumping).   They just seemed to want to pump the tank and move on even though I told them the owner told me they would inspect the system.  I was told by the owner that they would flush the toilet’s inside and inspect the lateral lines too and he would give me a special on the price inspection and pumping for $175.   They didn’t even want to go inside the house and when I started to write out the check for $175 they informed me it was $275.   I was disappointed that the price changed and protested but they told me I have two tanks and it cost $275 for two tanks.  FYI - They spent maybe 10-15 minutes pumping the first tank and less than 5 minutes on the second tank.  It looked to me that there was no need to even pump the second tank due to the fact they just dropped it in and in just a very few moments removed it.  I just paid the $275 anyway even though they offered for me to call their boss to discuss the price difference. Later on Monday, I called a friend who is a professional plumber that deals with septic systems in a East Texas town.  According to this plumber it turns out the job the worker (who was recommended by the owner) was going to do was a reasonable in price and the method would probably work but it was far from being the right way to fix the lid issue.  I discovered that his price might have been reasonable if he was doing it with the right materials (i.e a precast concrete lid that is designed with two access ports for the risers which allow pumping of the tank.)  The plumber informed me that the lid should be sealed and leaving the plywood in place and just covering it with concrete was not proper rather more a “make-shift fix” repair.  Thus I called this man and cancelled the job set for Saturday.  Bottomline: The owner gave me a price it turned out to be higher and they didn’t do what the owner said they would for the price they charged.  The owner told me the worker did good quality work on the side and that is questionable too after I consulted another professional about the proposed method of repair.   I guess if all you need is pumping these guys are okay however having experienced what I did I would not call them back if all I needed was the septic to be pumped again.

Very poorly. On one of the inspections, the workman noted that there was a repair that needed to be done, but didn't do it. When I called, Jo-Anne Garrett agreed that the repair was less than $200 but refused to come back without charging for an extra trip charge ($79, I believe). It was particularly upsetting how rude and condescending she was on the phone!

They had to locate and uncover the tank openings that were covered with dirt and grass. They pumped all three tanks, two of which were totally full. They showed up on time, were polite and cheerful and did the work professionally. They are my company of choice from now on.

They show up when they say they're going to show up. The office staff works hand in hand with the people in the field. Anyone who has an aerobic septic system is required to have an annual contract with a company that can inspect their septic systems. I have already changed companies. Garrett Septic has already shown me that they are reliable, professional and know their business.

Robert came out early the morning after we called and fit us into his already busy schedule. He was very helpful in helping us locate our septic tanks which had not been cleaned in 17 years. After discovering that our tanks were now located beneath a concrete carport that a previous owner had added, he recommended and coordinated with a sub-contractor to cut access holes in the concrete, install risers down to the tanks and cover with flush-fitting concrete access doors. Gave good advice on how to boost system bacteria and maintain the system. He worked hard to keep our costs down in what could have been a very expensive situation.
