  • John & JD weren't just good -- they were EXEPTIONAL!!! From their incredible responsiveness, to their professionalism, quality of work and more-than-fair pricing, my experience with Efficient Air & Heat was fantastic. My wife & I are new to Fort Worth, so we relied on Angie's List reviews to help us select an HVAC contractor in the area. Efficient Air & Heat's reviews were outstanding -- but frankly, our actual experience with them exceeded our expectations by a long shot. We called right at the peak of the coldest weather of the season. John & JD still came out late into the evening to help us out. They quickly diagnosed the problem and informed us that they would need a part to solve our issue. John kept us continually notified as to the availability of the part. When the part finally came in, John called to let us know when they would be able to return to our house. They pulled into the drive at the exact time John said they would be there! Within 20 minutes they replaced the part and the problem was solved. The final invoice was much less than we'd ever imagined! While John said they'd take a check, we handled our payment electronically, including a copy of the invoice which was sent instantaneously to my smartphone via email. In less than a half-hour, John & JD were on their way (JD cleaned & packed everything up while John handled the payment transaction). You've heard of under-promise/over-deliver? That's what our experience was with Efficient Air & Heat. They will be our HVAC contractor for life. We'd enthusiastically recommend them to anyone!

  • We had an issue with one of our HVAC dampers, and we were calling around to get quotes from various different companies. Lawrence Air Conditioning and Heating was just one of the companies that we called. When I spoke to them initially, they never mentioned that there would be a service call fee. Because some of the other companies that we called to come out didn't charge a service call fee, we assumed that they didn't charge either since they never mentioned it. When I spoke to the lady answering the phone once more about the invoice to let her know that we were never told that they would be charging a fee for a service call, she angrily stated, "Did you think it was supposed to be free?", I stated that there were some companies that did not charge, she then stated, "Well...we're not one of those companies". I really don't think this part of the conversation was necessary, and I believe that a business should be transparent from the start, and not try strong arm you at the very end.

  • Terrible - Explained to tech that we had cold air on heat status. I placed Thermostat on emergency heat and was able to get some heat. I told him TXU had installed a a new thermostat and I think he may have installed it incorrectly but wasn't, sure. He said it would cost us more money if he fixed problem if there was one. He said I could pay for it and get reimbursed from insurance company. When he said it would cost us money I said I would live with it. I plan on calling a reputable repair company. He did not check furnace or temperature of house

  • Great, the technician identified the problem immediately and within the same day was able to obtain the part and provide the service to fix. Further, the unit was under warranty so they took care of getting the warranty service accomplished and the part acquired at no additional cost, would definitely recommend.

  • Excellent. Called for an estimate for 2 new, complete units. Company responded quickly. Once we decided to go with comfort masters a convenient time for us was set up. The installers arrived on time both days. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves, hauled the old units away. The owner of the company came to check on the progress personally and followed up through texts and emails after work was completed. Extremely satisfied and would definitely hire them again.

  • AWESOME service, honesty, and professionalism! Tim exposed the lies another company had told me, and within minutes, he had diagnosed a simple repair. In just a couple of hours, my unit was perfectly fine, thanks to him. There is NO ONE else I will call for A/C or heating issues.

  • My AC unit was tripping the breaker regularly. I had another company out to see what was wrong and they were trying to tell me that I needed an entire new system. $8000. I decided to get a second opinion and called Enoch. I believe the gentleman that came out was named Noah (?sorry). He immediately saw that the problem was a faulty fuse in the breaker box. He fixed it very quickly, explained what he had done and was on his way. I highly recommend Enoch for your HVAC needs.

  • Chaz came over to check our central air conditioner. He found the problem immediately. He showed us how to correct the problem. When we replace our unit we will call him. He was very courteous & professional.

  • Upon my original phone conversation requesting a service call ... Tom came up with excuses why he could not make the call and instead gave me his sons name/number and assured he could handle the repair. His son Randy came out made the service call and discovered I needed a new unit My AC unit was over 20 years old so I agreed to his assessment and he required a 2100.00 deposit to pick up the new unit. I paid him the deposit and then the song and dance started ... after making a weeks worth of follow up calls I finally accepted the fact that I got ripped off. I tried to make a claim in small claims court with no luck … the laws are not in the favor of the consumer. As it turned out even though TOMAC AC sent his son out for the service call … his son Randy is not an employee of TOMAC does not work for TOMAC even after it was implied that he was an employee. Randy represented himself as a TOMAC employee and drove a TOMAC company truck to the initial service call. BEWARE !!!!! ….THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND KNOW HOW TO GET AROUND THE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS. AGAIN WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS THEY ARE CROOKS ….
