Health Care Facility reviews in Fort Worth

Jesse and his team immediately took my call when I reached out to them while on my lunch break one afternoon. I had originally considered purchasing COBRA insurance to cover my family while I was waiting for coverage to begin with a new employer After reviewing the cost of the COBRA insurance I decided to seek out some other option. With a family a six I could not afford to go uninsured for any length of time. I found iHealthBrokers on Angie's list and they seemed to have the most reviews with all of them being very positive. When I called a very polite and professional women answered the phone and got some basic information from me. She explained that they were experiencing a very busy day and may not have a broker who could immediately assist me. After a brief hold she put me on the phone with Jesse the owner of the company. In a matter of about 10 minutes Jesse was able to get me signed up for some short term health insurance coverage and I even had insurance cards emailed by the next morning with hard copies arriving about a week later. The coverage was about a 1/3 of the cost of the COBRA insurance and was exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend Jesse and his team to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.

    HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital - Cityview
NURSE CAUGHT LYING and ALLOWED MY GRANDMOTHER TO SUFFER NEEDLESSLY IN PAIN! The chief nursing officer called it a MISTAKE (really)... The law calls it NEGLIGENCE! Let me start off by saying the care during the week has been fantastic, but as we know, one bad apple can ruin the bunch. My grandmother had a total knee replacement and her surgeon suggested that she needed to go to rehab at HealthSouth City View. The problem has been with the care on the weekends. I understand that staffing is at a minimum, but that shouldn't affect the quality of care. Her first weekend at HealthSouth City View was not a good experience for her. Staff were unresponsive or very slow to answer her calls. We should have listened to her when she begged us to let them take her home before the next weekend. I was assured that her care would be greatly improved this weekend. Let me assure you that it has not! My grandmother let the nurse and nurse aid know several times that she was in pain and that it was time for her next dose. Did either follow-up? NO! They did not. My grandmother called me asking me to please see what was going on. I gave the nurse the benefit of the doubt and called to speak with her. She FLAT OUT LIED. I called my grandmother back to let her know what the nurse had said and she told me EXACTLY when she had been given her last pain dose. This time I called the nursing supervisor and asked her to follow-up and get back to me. She called me back to let me know that my grandmother was correct and that the staff had indeed made a mistake and that the issue would be dealt with. I pressed and wanted to know how my grandmother's care would improve today. She responded by saying, "What do you expect me to do?" "I can't be up there 24/7". That really rubbed me the wrong way. Lady, I want you to take care of my grandma as you would someone you loved! THAT IS ALL I WANT!

LAY and WILLIAMS Health Insurance Service
Mr. Hildebrandt was very helpful and informative in finding a health insurance policy for my son.  He provided multiple choices of plans & prices for our review.  After selecting the plan, he was very quick to complete the application process and made the whole experience very easy and smooth.  It was so nice to have a knowledgeable agent help us.

We've been with them for the last probably close to 30 years. It's the Federal plan. We've had problems. My wife has had to get on the phone and fight with them on a number of occasions. They're not perfect. We will stay with them until my wife is on Medicare.

My insurance kept on going up and up and then my neighbors told me about another company. You get a discount if you have house and car. I hadn't had any problems with them, we had some storms and they were pretty good about taking care of them.

    North Hills Hospital
We've both been to North Hills Hospital.  They're just terrible, the care and the nursing staff. I think I was in there when I broke my ankle and it was a terrible experience. Most of the staff didn't speak English well or at all.  I'm not trying to sound biased or anything but you couldn't understand what they were asking, or saying or, and they had trouble understanding us.  My husband got me out of there as soon as he could, they had to operate on my ankle and their billing department is ridiculous.  I wouldn't send anybody there.  If I had a worst enemy I wouldn't send them there.  The room stayed really dirty, my husband came in, you know, the day after to see me, you know, and the room hadn't been taken care of, it was dirty, the floor, the trashcan over flowing, just the whole thing, I wouldn't go there for anything.  An ambulance did have to take me in so I did get right in.  I remember the first night I was there I was in pain and I was trying to get a nurse and I had a miserable night trying to get somebody to know about the pain I was in.  The doctor I had did take care of it. The doctor himself was not bad, he was pretty good.  The administration wasn't very responsive.

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Community Hospice
Their bills are very high, astronomically high. The best part of my experience with them was that there was no wait. The worst part was, when I went back, they were supposed to put the medical records together and they didn't.

Bruno Nascimento - Health & Life Insurance Broker
Bruno was so helpful and quick to respond!  We needed to find healthcare coverage for our girls after their plans were discontinued at the end of 2014 and he found us the best coverage for a good price, which also included some dental coverage that we did not have on a previous plan.  He still checks from time to time to make sure everything is good.  We have referred him to family and will contact him again if we need to update/change coverage.

    EMC ExpressCare
This was my second visit to this clinic.  I found them on my google map after being denied treatment by Care Now.  Care Now refused to serve me because I was on medicare.  They wouldn?t even let me pay cash!
Both visits to EMC Expresscare clinic were ?perfect? - wait time was less than 10 minutes and I was a walk in.  The staff were friendly and possessed interpersonal skills unlike Care Now staff who were rude and uncaring.
Dr. Genco is prompt, thorough and to the point.  He does not waste time getting the diagnosis or providing needed treatment.  He has a cute dry sense of humor that if you are not watching may go right over your head!  This will be my ?go to? place for medical treatment when I need it.  A great experience that left me wondering how they manage so efficiently!!

My experience with them is great. They seem to remember who you are and you just feel like you are going to pick up your prescription with some friends. They make you feel at home, very comfortable. They remember you name. They remember who you are. Sometimes they ask about your children. They are really nice.
