  • We had laminate flooring installed in the majority of our home (everything but the entryway, bathrooms, and kitchen). The floors look great, except that the transitions began to come up in a few places after one week. We have been told throughout the process that the work is covered by warranty, but it has been a challenge to get Provider name locked. back to correct the issue (still waiting). Overall, the installation team was very professional, trustworthy, and did a good job.

BUT BUYERS BEWARE! We fell victim to the salesperson’s deceptive practices. Specifically, in trying to convince us to sign the Provider name locked. contract, the salesperson told us that the company would install new trim throughout, free of charge. He wrote “Remove and Replace Trim” on the form. Had it not been for this promise, we would not have executed the contract. During the installation, however, workers put the old trim back in place. After calling Provider name locked. , we learned that “replace” did not mean “replace with new trim,” but instead meant “tack the old, now torn-up trim back in place.” One can probably imagine that you are in a very weak bargaining position once half of the flooring in your home has been removed. Your bargaining position is even weaker when the contract's fine print includes a pre-dispute binding arbitration clause. As a result, we were required to execute a change order, increasing the cost by about $800. So, anyone planning to do business with Provider name locked. should closely scrutinize everything that the salespeople do, say, and write. Otherwise, like us, you could fall victim to this scheme.

  • You see these shows on TV where they make Dream Remodels look EASY! Well, it isn't. It isn't easy for the homeowner, or the homeowner's pocketbook, or the contractor. Someone is doing all of the dirty work all of the hours between takes, and off camera. Provider name locked. is that guy. He makes it all look AWESOME. Once again he overcame every obastacle that we, or our house, or our schedule could throw at him, causing us the least amount of inconvenience as possible. and usually at his own inconvenience and expense. Our home had not had an improvement since the 60's, and now it can hold its own against any home in the neighborhood.
I cannot overestimate the convenience of hiring someone that can do it all. My brother was performing a similar remodel at the same time as mine and it ook him over twice as long because the plumber was always waiting on the tile guy who was waiting on the carpenter who was waiting on materials. In the 5 weeks that the remodel was being performed we were without a kitchen sink for one night, and that was due to the granite work, whcih I had contracted and Provider name locked. had nothing to do with. Oh yeah, and while they were doing the granite Provider name locked. had them make a kitchen window sill to match and it looks beautiful. Provider name locked. does it all. And he is constantly figuring out how to overcome all of the little hiccups every job will have. He was infinitely patient with all of our requests, additions and changes, and there were many. He doesn't cut corners and he won't settle for less than perfect.
I wrote this review as Provider name locked. was finishing up, and was waiting to post it after one last window was installed as promised. I began to notice and Provider name locked. even commented on it when he came back to install the window that some of the kitchen flooring was having issues. After several months haggling with the installer, and the bamboo supplier ( I won't print the name but it Provider name locked. with Dome Repo) to no avail, Provider name locked. assumed all responsibilty and has paid to have it re-installed. This was at least 1500.00 out of his pocket, not including several days of his time to remove an island, baseboards etc, and then reinstalling and performing the detail work that makes our kitchen stand out,2 a hit that I am pretty sure few contractors would be willing to have taken care of, especially a two man operation like Home Doctors, and it speaks volumes about Provider name locked. 's professionalism and his integrity. Instead of us having to pack up and move to our dream home, Provider name locked. built it inside of our house. I can without hesitation recommend Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. Doctors.

  • Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. made the whole process of looking for tile easy, and fun! From getting the initial estimate (Provider name locked. came to the house and measured personally) to helping us find a tile color that matched a competitors selection. While they were not the lowest bid for our particular job, they more than made up for the price difference in the quality of the work, and personal service. The day we were scheduled to start the installation, Provider name locked. met the crew at the house and made sure that they were introduced to us and stayed around to be sure we were happy with the various selections that needed to be made to start installation (tile direction, etc) and was even willing to spend extra time discussing future options for extending the tile to the rest of the house. The crew that installed the tile was extremely professional and took great care to ensure that the tile was installed correctly. They did the job in two days, and did a fantastic job! Overall, I would not hestitate to hire the folks from Prestige again! In fact we are already planning our next project!
