Diabetes & Thyroid Center - Fort Worth
MY GP had to refer. Referral process took over 4 months to get in. When week of appt arrived twice I was reminded of I were not 15 min EARLY I would not be seen ' it would be weeks to get back in. Naturally I was 5 min late after going to another street similar name & I was on phone with them explaining this and still had to be to get in.

Assigned to Dr. Lackan but spoken to him only once. Usually attended to by his PA. From our only visit, not a people person. Extremely busy office so a bit slow to respond to phone calls, medication refills, etc. Probably taking on more then they can handle. Treatment has been effective so have accepted effective treatment with slow response. Don't be late to appointments. I was running late by 10 mins once and they reschedule for several months later. Of course, I wait for them at every schedule appointment.

    Iron Tribe Fitness
Iron Tribe Fitness employs teaches and trains members with an integrated approach to diet and exercise in a community (or tribe) setting.
The staff focus is on getting to know members and on getting members to know each other, so the experience is as social as it is sweaty.
Workouts are conducted in regularly-scheduled classes, and the content of the workout is varied from day to day. No two classes are exactly the same. Cross-training methods are incorporated to cover the spectrum of exercise types (cardio, endurance, strength).
The staff also ensures that each member is coached on how to correctly do the various exercises, focusing on any modifications needed to successfully complete a workout. So each class can serve a range of fitness levels and everybody gets the desired benefit.
Nutrition is addressed as well; the 'paleolithic' diet of whole, fresh foods is explained and promoted. Classes include information on how exercise and food affect fitness.
The staff also records and tracks member workouts and fitness progress (using periodic assessments); the ITF website has a member portal for fitness tracking and account maintenance.
My own progress has been good, and my membership experience has been highly acceptable.

It is a nice place.  I go there 3 times a week.  The staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable people easy to deal with and they help you work out.  They are in the middle of remodeling and doing some major re-structural work.  Price wise I have not shopped around but I am very happy with what they are giving me.  I have not any problems with them.

I was never able to get a hold of anyone unless I went in and waited. I also never spoke with a doctor, just the PA Lauren Bonjour. My diagnosis was never clearly told to me. She said my thyroid was average but wanted to put me on armour thyroid medication as well as progesterone. I asked her about the dosing, keeping in mind we wanted to get pregnant and she was going to have me take it everyday. Taking progesterone daily like that could inhibit fertility. When I asked her about that she said she didn't know and needed to call a friend who might know the answer. At that point I decided not to go back to their office. When I made that decision I got a bill in the mail a month later for more than a thousand dollars. When I called to ask about that, they said they were not in network with my provider and hadn't been for awhile. I tried to explain that they had called and verified my insurance and that I was covered, which was why I'd only been paying the copay. I later when and looked at other reviews and figured this must be a shady business and they've changed names a couple of times since opening since then.

Dr. Hudak helped me to find the right dosage of Synthyroid to get my life back. I have energy, have doubled the sales in my company, began exercising and losing weight. I owe him so much. He is helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to listen. Excellent doctor.

The next day, I loaded the bike and drove to Colonels. They are near the Movie Tavern in a strip mall.  First you have to find a parking space.  Then you tote your bike up the stairs where you reach their door.  There were three people working. As I struggled with the door trying to keep it open and pull my bike in, do you think anyone tried to help?  No.
At the service counter is an older gentlemen; probably in his 50s, wearing a grey shirt with his name on it.  I mentioned that I called in the previous day and I was told to bring it by this day.  "Sorry," I was told, "we've gotten at least ten bikes today and I don't think we could get to for at least a week and a half."
I asked how long did brakes take to align?  He replied that wasn't the point. They could find other issues. "Yes," I said, "but it is a new bike that has never been ridden."  To this guy, it wasn't going to happen. His best offer was to leave the bike and they'd try to have it done in two weeks.
Well, that wasn't going to work for me, so I told him I'd find another way.  As I left, the employees watched me struggle with the door and with my bike as I left the building and traversed the steps to load the bike back in my car.
In the parking lot, I called Trinity Bicycles.  They said to bring it in.  Two days later the bike was ready and they did a great job.  I'll never recommend Colonels, but I will Trinity Bicycles.

Fit For Life Executive Fitness Ctr. & Gym
I have met the greatest trainer, John Mills, at Fit For Life. When I started with John, 3 months ago, I was not in the condition I wanted to be in; however, since May 4, 2014, I am well on my way of being in the best shape I have ever been in.
John started by evaluating my current condition and we worked out the perfect workout to help me sustain and reach my goals. I've lost weight, inches, BMI totals, my cholesterol is significantly down and my moods are at an all time high!
If you're looking to get in shape and live remotely close near Bryant Irivn Road in Fort Worth, do not hesitate to call John Mills - 817-343-7205. Your body and mind will thank you!!
