Piano Moving reviews in Fort Lauderdale

  • Lord's Moving Co. was great. My mother died in June and in closing up the house, I knew I would be needing a mover to take some of the pieces of furniture, including an old player piano and huge globe to our home in SC. I found Paul on Angie's List. All the arrangements had to be done on the phone. Paul was extremely helpful and good at communication. He met with someone at the house, gave us an estimate and we agreed on the move date. The 2 movers arrived early, were quick, careful and professional and 10 hours later the furniture arrived at our house in SC. They also made a stop at a storage unit to unload some of the items. Paul and his movers made a difficult situation very easy and stress free. If I lived in the area, or needed something similar to what I had done, I would hire Lord's Moving Co. for the job. They were great.

  • We were in the market for a used piano.  We visited several stores in the Oakland Park/Ft. Lauderdale area .  We found that Piano Showcase had not only an outstanding selection at very reasonable prices, but also a knowledgeable staff.  We purchased a console upright built in the 1980's.  It comes with a free tuning and a five year warranty.   The tone of the piano is outstanding and the piano and piano bench were in beautiful physical condition.  Our concern was the size of the instrument as it had to be brought up to the second floor of our townhouse.  The men responsible for the move, employees of the Piano Showcase, came several days early to get the dimensions of the stairwell and plan the move.  On moving day, they did it with remarkable precision, maneuvering the 22 steps and two landings and two turns.  The piano weighs over 500 pounds so that was no easy feat.  There were three movers and the owner, Mark Leszczynski, who accomplished this to our great satisfaction.  Again, the owner, is a most invaluable resource for the Piano Showcase.  He is a talented musician and composer in his own right, and then, he makes sure that all parts of the transaction are carried through with the utmost customer support.  We are looking forward to many years of enjoyment with this beautiful instrument.

  • I called to get an estimate, i spoke with the sales department and gave them information as needed and for next day i had an appointment with Guy at my house for an estimate.
Guy was very representable, he really know his business and how the job suppose to get done.
My main concern was my Piano, since I moved in the past and former companies didnt realy know how to handle it, Guy assured me
that i am in safe hands. and so I was.
the day of the move was easy, the crew show up, start rapping my furniture and loading boxes, the time estimate that was given to me was very accurate and very reasonable for the price.
my piano was handled safe and well, i couldn't believe how professionals they were.
I had to store my stuff until i was ready to delivery, i got 2 months free with Forward Van Lines.
When my delivery date was getting closer i was in touch with operation manager - Roy, he was super nice and took a lot of my stress assuring me that my stuff will be on time, and they were.
I have to admit that i shopped around before making a decision to go with Forward Van Lines,
I did paid more with them but i got the best service for my money.
they really care about your stuff and they want you to be happy by the end of the move.
If I will move again I will choose them again
Thank you Guy and Roy for making my move process simple and professional-:))

  • Used this company for a full service deal.  I was unable to be present to supervise the move due to a family emergency.  I had these guys pack up my  3 bedroom home, move my stuff into storage for 6 months and then deliver to my new home.  I had complete trust and confidence in them.  I had read their reviews and also received their name from a local university.  I have antiques and a piano that needed special attention,  I was pleased with all the work they did for me.  No damage with anything.  Price never changed. All pricing details were spoke about before any serivce was preformed.

  • We were moving our 2800 square foot home to a new home about twenty minutes away. I have had two bad experiences moving my business so I wanted to be extra careful for this move of our family and house. I asked for recommendations from friends and then did my research on Angie's List and on BBB. We then brought in what I thought were the three best candidates for quotes. Although all the estimators were thorough, we were especially impressed with the gentleman from Cousins. He walked thru the whole house with me in tow, and explained the best way to pack everything, answered all my questions, and asked a few of his own. He gave me an estimate that had a quote based upon time. He explained that if the move took less time we would be charged less, but if it took more time we would NOT be charged anymore than the amount estimated. Cousins was not the least expensive of the three but only a couple of hundred dollars more than the lowest, and that company could not guarantee that they would not charge anything more than what they quoted. So we chose Cousins based upon the referral, the professionalism and courtesy of their estimator, and their price guarantee. Four guys and a large tractor trailer showed up right on time for the move. The guys all introduced themselves and were courteous, considerate, and professional through out the move. The guy who seemed to be in charge, Eddie, was especially professional and hard working. The whole crew really seemed to want to do a good job. It took a little longer than I think they had anticipated for the loading, and when we got to the new house the crew seemed a bit tired. Although they got the all the furniture into the designated spots and rooms, the crew started to leave boxes for various rooms in the living room. Eddie immediately addressed this and asked us if we wanted the crew to relocate the boxes from the living room into their proper spots. Cousins had estimated 10 hours, and it took 11 hours. But true to their word they only charged what was on the estimate, with absolutely no add-on charges. Everything arrived in great shape. One small error was made - we have a 6' large mirror in wooden frame that they asked us if we wanted them to move or not. We told them yes but it was left behind. We missed it on our walk thru so part of the blame lies with us. It only became an issue when I moved it myself a day later and broke it. Overall I was extremely pleased with this company and their services. If I move my business in the future they will definitely be my first call, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks for a referral.

  • We wouldn't use them again. They could have done everything better. They didn't pack the stuff up very well and several things got damaged. They did move the piano okay but a lot of other stuff got damaged. Our glasses made it but glass doors on stuff got damaged. They wrapped stuff in paper that should have been wrapped in bubble wrap and blankets and vice versa. They were backwards about everything. They were better at responding that doing their service.

  • Raul quoted the job and told me the men would be there at 9am. Three men showed up exactly on time and began the job. They were efficient and helpful when I didn't have things packed properly. They were able to handle all the furniture without damaging anything.
