    Florida Palm Construction Inc
Working with the team from beginning to end was always a great experience. The entire team at Florida Palm Construction keeps you well informed throughout each step of the process and provides answers to every questions imaginable. I can't thank them enough for the incredible addition to my home that was on my to do list for over 25 years! They made our family very happy and the compliments from friends and family have been very positive!

    Plantation Construction & Realty, LLC
I was introduced to Plantation Construction by my architect whilst planning an outbuilding/workshop Jim Ingersoll provided all the services you would want from a builder/contractor. His suggestions on design, instructive education on the permitting system and his involvement in each step of the process could not have been more professional -- and productive. I was pleased with each step of the process and give an A+ in all areas of the project. His pricing appeared slightly on the high side --- until I saw the unfolding of the age old adage -- "you get what you pay for". Workmanship you don't usually find in South Florida. I have since used his company three additional times for projects big and small and am always pleased. Highly (HIGHLY) recommended.

We live on a waterway so our backyard is not very large for building structures, but we had this company come out to build a screen room and the bar b que, but Kris showed us an outdoor kitchen with a dining bar that he had build for some other folks we really liked the idea and had room for one and we are happy. Good job great result. 5*******

Maria and her son Felipe were amazing. She is on top of the project from start to end, she ensures everyone who works for her gives the best output and she goes out of her way to really work with her customers. I really will use Maria in the future for anything I want doing and have recommended her to friends already. Thank you Anfur !!

    GSM Builders LLC
Please be very careful hiring this company. My father signed a contract and sadly passed away before any work was started. Prior to my fathers passing, GSM was paid a $25,000 deposit. My sister and I who are the Personal Representatives of the Estate were then sued by GSM for an additional $51,000; claiming lost profits in accordance to a little known law in FL. Not only had GSM not started ANY work and were already paid $25,000, they were now suing for more. My sister and I were forced on advice of counsel to pay an additional $17,500 to resolve the lawsuit. GSM Builders had no problem basically stealing $42,500 from the children of a dead man. Prior to paying the $17,500, my sister spoke to the owner and explained the situation to which he responded that hed talk to his partners. He ultimately had his lawyer contact our lawyer to say hes going forward with the lawsuit. I strongly advise against hiring this company based on greed alone.

EJD Construction Contractors & Investment Corp.
A major home construction/renovation project is a difficult prospect. Its expensive. It requires a lot of preparation. Its stressful, but most importantly, it requires that you enter into a close and collaborative partnership with another person. Its like a marriage in that way, and I feel like Ive spent the last year or so married to Eric Scarborough of EJD Construction. There were of course frustrations, but in hindsight, Im very glad I selected him as my contractor. There were two parts to our project: 100% new construction of a detached two-car garage, and a near total gut of a 1950s ranch house (about 1,200 sq ft). Our project forced Eric to operate outside his comfort zone. He hadnt worked in our city before, and I had very exacting requirements regarding my HVAC and domestic hot water systems. Despite the unfamiliar terrain, Eric was able to get my project done on time and on budget. We decided to do some of the work ourselves (installation of kitchen cabinets and countertops), and also self-performed structural upgrades. Eric was flexible enough to work with us and never seemed to get upset about a couple of homeowners constantly on his construction site. After moving back into the house we had two minor issues that needed to be addressed. Eric made sure these were corrected promptly after I notified him. Good advice for someone embarking on a project like this: sit down with your contractor (any contractor) and go through the proposal line by line. Refer to a set of plans and make sure you understand what is and is not included in the fee. Erics bid had one or two ambiguities (my word), and when these became evident, I decided to either authorize a change order or purchase material myself rather than try to browbeat Eric into covering the gap. (See my marriage metaphor above.) There were also several smaller repairs and tasks that werent in my plans, and Eric fixed them without asking for a change order, so ultimately I think the process was fair for both of us. Most importantly, there was never a moment when I felt he was being less than honest with me. Im thrilled with my new house and garage. If I had it to do over again, I would absolutely want to work with Eric.

There are not enough words to describe our interaction with this companys administration and employees, the biggest one is phenomenal. The staff in the office are outstanding and their employees are hardworking, professional, personable, trustworthy, and respectful of your home and property and safety conscious to boot. Florida Palms workers always cleaned up behind themselves so we didnt feel like we were living in a construction zone. The companys project managers always kept us in the loop regarding permits, snags or issues that would pop up during any construction/renovation as well as progress reports. The Project Manager was always on the job site prior to workers arriving and would introduce them to us. Our construction/project crew from demolition, building, painting, and marble work consisted of Juan, Alfredo, Julio, Junior, Mitch, Eppie and Robert our lovely Project Manager. Robert made sure we always knew who was on our property and what their job function was. In this day and age trustworthy companies are few and far between and really hard to find. We are so fortunate to have found Florida Palm Construction Inc. I would recommend this family friendly company to anyone and in fact already have. Call the office and speak to Illeana, Alexis or Diana they are outstanding Happy building

    Water Fire Pro Inc.
After the first couple of days it seems evident that there was a problem, and the owner, Jonathan Moore, bent over backwards saying the fault was in his subcontractors, and he would make it right, because he understands how business is important. Very, VERY long story short, he abandoned the job, leaving me with not only a huge mess in my space, but with a badly surfaced wall making my business inoperable. The wall was meant to be smooth, with no variations in the surface. Instead they seem to have been trying to make a topographical map. This is no general contractor, he is a fraud. He has no business operating a company, and do not trust anything he says. He is a very smooth talker, making promises he has no intention of keeping. I fortunately found someone actually good at their job who came in and fixed their mess in just two days. So in regards to this clown, run. Run far, and do not bother contacting this company. He also calls his company Buildnet Corp, or WFP.

Roger is unprofessional, does not show up and you are lucky if he calls or text. He has left my family and I in a home that is hazardous to our health. Leaks he has known about for a month which have caused sitting water with mold now. My dishwasher no longer works and my garbage disposal is still not hooked up which is preventing the water from draining. He has been saying for several weeks that a plumber would come by now he is telling me I have to hire my own plumber. I have electrical outlets hanging out of my walls that my one year can reach, the floor is not finished. Every day I came home to such a mess that I would have to clean after working all day. He promised us before he started working that his workers would make sure they clean everyday because we have three small kids. Not only did that not happen but they used my appliances to clean major messes and damaged all of them. He has left me with less of a kitchen then we agreed to and now I have bins stacked up all over my house because I no space to put them. I have paid him over 95% of the original estimate and now he has walked out on us. The upstairs bathroom where the leak started has not even been touched. STAY AWAY FROM HIM especially if you have a family!
