    Plumber Mikes
I am writing this review because I am so thoroughly impressed with Plumber Mikes services and the way he treated me during my kitchen renovation project. After hiring a large retailer to complete my project, only to fail me miserably halfway in, I was left with a sour taste in my mouth and a distrust for contractors. Plumber Mike made special arrangements with me to make me feel at ease. He completed every bit of work in the most timely manner and kept me up to date on every step of the process. Plumber Mike came to my house every day during the project to make sure that I had no issues and that the work was being done correctly. His communication was perfect and his attitude was sincere and genuine. Plumber Mike had a crew that worked inside my home for days without supervision and they NEVER crossed my trust. Every single crew member was polite, respectful, and professional. ***Plumber Mike repiped my entire kitchen (brought water lines in under the home instead of through the walls *as I requested, created a pot filler, ice box, dishwasher line, sanitary arm for my bathroom sink, new valves on my bathtub (shared wall with kitchen), completed new PVC sewer lines by replacing old cast iron***. If I EVER have a plumbing need in the future, big or small, I will call him. I have dealt with many contractors over the past few years and I will never call a different plumber. I am more than willing to share my full experience with anyone interested in knowing more. Even after I paid him in full, he continued to assist me and take my calls...... this is the guy you always hope you get when you need a plumber, but rarely (and I mean rarely) find.

    New Angle Construction
This is a Amador again. The original review was not accurate, I need to provide the following clarification. Elizabeth has a valid point, I was wrong. I have recall that the valve was replaced directly by Mick, the plumber of New Angle Construction was using for the plumbing part of the basement job. I did not know that he was a sub contractor at that time and I have some recollection of me paying in cash directly to Mick, approximately $300 but never got a receipt for the replacement of the valve. My mistake. Mick was the plumber that New Angle Construction brought in to do the plumbing work on the basement specified on the quotes, and that Anthony recommended to replaced the valve related to the water meter. (Not included on the quote) What I was not aware of was that, Mick did not know that he needed to be licensed and registered in the town of Poughkeepsie and that a permit was required, that the town had to send someone to shut of the water coming into the house at the curb box valve. At the end, on paper New Angle Construction did not replaced the valve, they just brought in the wrong plumber for the job, said that, Anthony as the constructor should know better when hiring and recommending someone. My recommendation is to get proof that the contractor and his sub contractors has a licenses required, that all permits are requested (Electrical, plumbing, etc.) and to have all the miscellaneous works that are done outside the contract included on it and get the receipt for any payment made. Besides the above problem (mix job cost me $3222.00) but the basement became very good.

    LakeLife Homes
Amazing. Derek and his team remodeled everything in my house. Tore down walls, dealt with electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, etc. Super professional. Treated my house like their own. I don't live locally so was scared about the project and they kept me in the loop every step of the way.

    QUIK CUT CONCRETE CUTTING
Anyone who uses anyone other than Quik concrete needs to really think about their judgement. Quik concrete did a great job on the concrete cutting (wonderful care and the quality was exceptional) but where I was most impressed was their level of professionalism, i cant ever remember a contractor being more professional. QuikConcrete inadvertently cut an area that was not to be cut. These guys not only accepted responsibility immediately without any argument or discussion but repaired and replaced the area better than it was before. I would also say that repairs and replacement probably cost more than the entire job. You just dont see this kind of professionalism these days. Theyre one of a kind and as I said if anyone uses anyone other than these guys, get your head examined because you will not find anyone better and more trusting .

    Ground Control Inc
Excellent. I would definitely recommend Ground Control Inc and if they provided more services, I would be glad to work with John Tomassetti again. John Tomassetti was always responsive, either by phone and/or text. Repairing the foundation was a daunting job given the research it took to just find a couple of firms that would do this work on a residential home. I contacted 3 companies that all offered different solutions. John took the time to thoroughly explain his proposal and at every step of the way was flexible to incremental or extensive options, including being very straightforward with what was necessary and what could be postponed if I chose to. Further, John relayed his vast experience at several different job sites, so that I understood comparative work and what to expect. John also took the time to provide me with pros/cons of the available options. John did everything possible to make this an investment economical. The job site was kept clean and orderly. John and his staff were friendly and collaborative. Without my prodding, John provided other improvement suggestions outside his scope based on his observations. Everything was delivered as promised with excellent professionalism and service. Don't hesitate to contract with Ground Control, Inc.

Father & Sons Nursery & Land Development, LLC
I needed a paved driveway added to the rear of my home and these guys really impressed me. I had 3-4 prices and while they werent the cheapest quote, I went with them due to schedule and Im glad I did. Quality was excellent, the work was completed quickly, and they were really honest about everything. I would definitely work with them again and I recommend them to anyone in the broward and Miami area

    JD Professional Landscaping Design
We tried to get JD Professional to come back and build our pond a third time and to repair the vast flagstone area where the joints were settling and grout all broken because they did not use wire lathe when laying the flagstone and it was simply laid on 5' of concrete we now learned it was bound to fail. We were still motivated to have them come back and pay to repair and to pay to have the entire pong rebuild and expanded. We called John the owner he answered the phone and promised to come over for an estimate. He failed to show up. We continued to call over several months and he picked up and said he would come out to visit and estimate and never showed up. We tried calling again and again over the course of a year and now nobody but Voicemail on the office phone or mobile phone?? I can not recommend a person who fails to respond and fails to show up and does not want to face the music of fixing what they created for a fee and to take my hard earned money to pay and have this work done for the third time!

    Jack's Junk Removal
Jack and his crew did demolition and hauling of my large concrete mailbox. They removed the heavy mailbox, filled the hole with soil, installed my new mailbox in a different location, and hauled the old mailbox away. Great job! They were wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend them!
