This was by far the worst experience i have ever had.
On the first day they showed up two painters arrived and started the first bedroom. After lunch passed both disappeared and a different painter arrived. This third painter was working too fast. He start two other rooms without finishing the first room. Therefor i had another bedroom and my kitchen inaccessible for about 4-5 days. I was hoping they would do one room, finish it and then move onto another. This was not the case.
Painters: The painter(s) were very unprofessional.
First and foremost their appearance wasn't professional.
Second, the painters were using my kitchen and bathroom sinks to clean their paint brushes. I had paint stuck to the new sinks and paint splashes on the medicine cabinets and mirrors.
They just left buckets of water with rollers in them inside the rooms over night. Which made the rooms start to smell. Then when i complained about it, they moved them into my garage, without even organizing their equipment. It was a huge mess.
On one night they just left all their equipment they were using during the day on my living room carpet over a canvas sheet.
The painters have no respect for the house. They would drag their large ladders across my slate tile floors.
lean their ladders against the painted walls leaving Provider name locked. .
They leaned their ladders on my closets sliding doors and proceeded to climb it, and took the door of its hinge.
They used our kitchen rags, and when they tried to grab another one i told them to buy their own.
One of the painters left his lunch trash in my living room.
They left my sidewalk with several paint spots.
They would leave my water outside running.
They got paint on every single door knob in the house.
They stripped my high glossed and sealed tile floor with the solvent they use to clean the MANY paint spots they got on both my carpet and tile.
They spilled a large amount of purple paint on one of the carpets.
They painted each room as fast as possible. We spent about 2-3 days fighting over what needed to be redone. I complained about the many streaks on the walls and ceilings that show they didnt go over it as the rest of the wall and the main painter (Provider name locked. ) told me that it's just the way it is.
I have already painted my hallway. Well they decided they would cover the spots that they got on the wall, they would just get the color i used and cover those spots, leaving my wall looking like a mess.
The biggest complaint i have overall is that they are very VERY inconsistent, unprofessional, and careless about your home.
This was by far the worst experience i have ever had.

When I first hired this company in 2010, it was Provider name locked. who came to our home and gave us the estimate. Since that time, I have discovered that Provider name locked. has passed away. A few weeks ago (9/2013) I called them because the small length ( about 12') of gutter they had installed back in 2010 had failed miserably during the recent rainstorms. Their work supposedly has a 10 year warranty, but good luck trying to get that honored! The busted vinyl gutter, which had a SEAM right over our back door...the WORST possible place for a seam to be, leaked and caused water to back up into our house under the door. Why does a 12' length of vinyl gutter even need to have a seam at all?! What Provider name locked. puts the seam above a door!? No commonsense what so ever from "Provider name locked. ", the gutter guy based in Las Cruces that Provider name locked. uses.
I called and spoke to Provider name locked. and told him the problem and he said he would arrange a time to come out from Las Cruces. That was the last I heard from him. I have called them now, and Provider name locked. their gutter guy, about 18 times in 2 weeks and they will not return my calls. I have left them messages stating that I will contact the Better Business Bureau to complain about them, and STILL no reply from Provider name locked. . I have since given up and hired Provider name locked. 's Siding & Exteriors, Inc (who I found right here on Angie's List of course) to replace the gutter that Provider name locked. had installed and to install even more gutters around the house.
Seriously, who has time for businesses like Provider name locked. in their life?!
In terms of the other roofing jobs Provider name locked. performed for us (the elastomeric coating on a flat roof surface, and the chimney flashing) they have not failed, but they also were not the neatest in craftsmanship in the world—very sloppy looking.
On an unrelated note: Provider name locked. also painted our neighbors' house up the street in 2011 and they told me
they were not happy and that the job was sloppy, with paint splatters on the walkways around the house.
Bottom line: I will never use Provider name locked. again.

Provider name locked. was professional from start to finish. I emailed Provider name locked. King one afternoon and by the next morning at 8:15 I received a return phone call. He promised me an estimate in 2 to 3 days and right on time he had it ready and met me at my house, not only on time but actually 20 minutes ahead of schedule. He is a very professional, personable gentleman. We tried to get another estimate from another company but it took nearly 10 days and 2 phone calls before we did. By then we had already decided that Provider name locked. King's company was the right one to use. Provider name locked. said the re-roofs would take approximately a week, their crew (at least 6 to 8 workers) arrived promptly at 7:15 in the morning on Monday, and by 7:00 a.m. the other two days. By Wednesday afternoon they were finished with the entire job. They spent about an hour and a half cleaning up the site, touching up paint on my gutters and siding, cleaning my gutters, etc. Provider name locked. , the project manager, was a total joy to work with as well - extremely polite and informative during the entire process. He let me know what to expect as far as the roof shingles settling down after 2 weeks due to the cold weather and told me that if we saw ANY damage (blemishes to paint on house, gutter issues, etc.) to be sure and call them and they would be right out to take care of it. Honestly, I have never had such a pleasant experience with any contractor before; they are rated A+ with the BBB, and are highly rated on Angie's List as well, and now I see why! I have an extremely steep roof, and all the workers wore the appropriate safety harnesses, etc. My neighbor was so impressed with their work and work ethic that he has hired them to replace his roof as well. If you need a re-roof, hire Provider name locked. !- Susan T.
