I purchased an offer for faux wood blinds for 10 windows/up to 180 sq feet on Angie's List for Provider name locked. Blinds. The deal purchased did not have any restrictions on blind color and the offer displayed a pic of natural wood color blinds.
When Provider name locked. from Provider name locked. Blinds came to my home, he stated that my color selection was limited to a selection within the "white family". I explained that white blinds don't fit into my color scheme and there was absolutely no reference to a color requirement or limitation in either the advertisement on Angie's list or in the fine print in the purchased offer.
Provider name locked. insisted that Provider name locked. 's agreement with Angie's list stated this requirement/restriction. So of course, I reached out to Angie's List who researched the situation and provided written documentation that their contract/agreement with Provider name locked. Blinds did NOT have the stated restriction/limitation for customers.
Angie's List was apologetic and tried to get Provider name locked. to work with me based on my purchase, but to no avail.
In my opinion, If Provider name locked. forgot to include that critical piece of information in their offer, they should have certainly honored the deal that I purchased with the color selection of my choice.
I do plan to escalate this issue to the Better Business Bureau as well as the State Attorney General's office for an investigation into whether or not they Provider name locked. any unethical practices occurred (i.e. merchant intentionally omitting critical information in an effort to secure funds under false pretenses in the hopes that customers will "go ahead and pay the difference".

Owner came out at a convenient time and fixed a blind that I had broken trying to adjust it. I had purchased the blinds from Advantage a few weeks prior. Owner was able to fix blind and would not take payment even though I offered to pay.
Owner also made the effort to find an online store that sells a type of shutter that owner doesn't sell. Very nice of him to do that.

Service provided was professional and courteous. The owner was patient through the selection process. He offered his professional opinion to assist with making the best decision. His pricing was the lowest of all the quotes I reviewed for the same blind and service.
