    GLASS BLOCK PROFESSIONALS
Well, I would like to says thanks for Angie's List in helping Onsite finders to have the listing and not having to go through so many other listings... I had given a down payment, but was not ready for the service to be started back in 2018.. Once I was ready my sales man Dan, came out to meet with me again and go over the previous estimate... I must say he was warm, Kind, very professional and on time... Next when my funds were ready they came and started the work... I have enjoyed the entire Crew, from Robbie the Tuck expert, Meeting the owner Pops, Dan again, Toney and Devin.. They spent the day with me... I looked for patience and explaining pointers to me of my residence and he schooled me.. Pops is very knowledgeable... All of them have such a wonderful spirit... They were not in a hurry in doing the job... They took time and was always cleaning up behind themselves and that I did appreciate... Pops and his crew enjoyed what they do... I like a family owned business... I will be hiring them again were I see there is work that need to be done again around my residence or when I start getting into Real Estate... I fed them and provided water as much as they would like to have... It was hot outside... I have referred them to a couple of people that I know... I would like to say again Angie's list for adding Glass Block Professionals to your list of honest workers... I have also informed my friends to go on your website as well you have so much to offer... I love Glass Block Professionals... Trudy...

I'm a 1st time user of A.L. and I must admit that I'm relieved and very happy to have become member. The glass block company "Experienced Glass Block" responded to me a day after when I submitted a quote request. With in a few days E.G.B. sent one of their experienced tech to draw up the quote at $220 that I have accepted. My install is set to be in 3 days. The installation of the new window was smooth. The technician was very professional, he cleaned up all of the debris and the window looks great. I have two basement windows that I'm considering to have replaced and the company of my choice will be Experienced Glass Block. Thanks again for a great product and good experience.

The scheduled estimate was timely and efficient. The installation crew arrived on time, provided good protection in the basement during window removal to limit mess and the new windows were installed in no time.

After contacting the owner, he was able to come out the same day (Monday) and give me an estimate. Very reasonable amount. On Wednesday, he and his son arrived on time to install them. It took them just under 90 minutes, and they thoroughly cleaned up everything. They did a great job!

Im very disappointed in what happened at my home on July 21, 2016. The men arrived at about 4:20 and appeared very hurried due to their long work day and forthcoming rain. I got to the home minutes before they did and told them I wanted to remove my two screens (attached by 4 screws) before they removed the windows. I planned on keeping the screens for the one window that was not being replaced. Minutes later, before I even realized it, one of the windows with a screen was pried out, destroying a screen that I, just moments ago, told them I wanted to keep!!! I can only guess that the guy was so hurried trying to get done before the rain that he didnt hear a word I said. Furthermore, brick was chipped when he removed the frames. I was there to witness it and know it could have been avoided had he spent a couple of extra minutes removing it carefully. It clearly wasnt a situation where is was unavoidable. The man in the basement didnt put any drop cloths down, used my toilet to wash his hands of excess mortar (I asked why my bowl with filthy and that was his explanation). The sink in my basement was recently removed so he decided the toilet was the next best option? I do have other sinks in the home or he could have used the outside faucet. They left dirty footprints all over my stairs (it started raining while they were working) rather than spend an extra few minutes cleaning up before their departure. The workman outside asked when he was done what did I think. I asked him to clean up some of the excess mortar left on the brick. His only response was wow as if he was annoyed I asked. He did proceed, however, to spend a few extra minutes to remove some of the excess mortar. Had they devoted an extra fifteen minutes of time to the project (they were there less than an hour) all of this nonsense could have been avoided. It would have been nice if they treated my home as they would treat their own. I took photos of everything. I sent an email, via Angie's List, asking for a discount due to my destroyed screen and brick damage - NO response. Thank you.

The work was very well done, the windows all look great. If this review were based solely on the quality of the work and the price they'd be a solid B, maybe even A. Where this company falls apart is with how they run the operation. My first contact was via their web form. They replied the same day, went out and did an estimate before I even saw the message saying they were going over. That was impressive, the sales guy was good. Unfortunately, this is where their professionalism ends. My confidence with these guys started waning when I called to schedule the install. This work was being done on a rental building I own, I live out of state. This fact seemed to completely perplex the office staff. Actually, I should clarify: this seemed to perplex the guy, let's call him "ranting guy," who was in the background barking things at the poor girl I was speaking to. I think perhaps he didn't realize I could hear every word he was saying. "Out of state? What do you mean out of state?" and about four times I heard "I'm not building anything until I have the money!" Yes, I get it, you want a deposit. This is not a controversial thing, no need to fly off the handle at your employee in a way your customer can hear. I nearly just hung up, the guy is so totally unprofessional, but this type of rental maintenance is an annoyance I'm willing to throw money at to make it go away and I was too far along to start over. So we scheduled and I said I'd send a check (again with the "I'm not building..." in the background). I later decided to speed things along by calling back and paying the deposit with a credit card. More ranting guy being unable to understand a billing zip code that doesn't begin with "48" (just be quiet and let her do her job). I actually had to explain, again, that I do not live in the building or even the state the windows were being installed in. How is this so hard to understand? Oh and lets be clear, I dont care if youve dealt with fraud before. Not my problem. That is a cost of doing business and you do not make a customer feel like you think they are a crook because someone else did something bad to you. Anyway, my annoyance later turned to bemusement at how silly the guy is, he's one of those "everything is a problem and everyone is trying to screw me and my business" types. Where they really proved they aren't ready for prime time was installation day, actually, before that. No call to confirm they'd be there. A confirmation call, or even better email is a REQUIREMENT. Now I get to wonder whether or not anyone is going to show up. That concern proved warranted when on install day they were two hours late. At 30 minutes late I called to find out where they were. The previous job was running long. OK, I can forgive that. What I cannot forgive is not calling me when you knew you'd be more than 5 minutes late. Now you're wasting my time and my fathers time (who was there for me since as we've established, I live out of state). Understand that number, five minutes. That is your grace period. Longer than that and you CALL, you EXPLAIN, and you APOLOGIZE. When I called the next day to pay the balance, I could hear ranting guy again, ranting about something that I should not have had to hear. Anyway, like I said, the work was competent and looks good, but their operation is such a train wreck that I cannot recommend them.

The guys showed up on time and their work looks great. The old windows were in terrible shape and the sill had deteriorated in some cases. They did everything they could to patch things up around each window to make sure they were totally tight. They were polite and professional. I can't really find fault with any of their work.

We are so impressed with this company!  They were responsive, on time, very well priced and did a great job.  I'm pretty sure we were demanding customers but they went out of their way to do the very best job possible.  Thanks Wolverine!

Gave me a quote 1 year ago and stuck to it. Did a great, beautiful job. The installer even repaired bricks and mortar in an area where they "detached", to no fault of his own. After building a glass block window myself and realizing that their cost INSTALLED is less than my "retail" materials costs, I'll be using them for ALL of my glass block needs in the future.
