  • The gentlemen were very nice and professional. I really appreciate the prompt service. They started on time and finished in a timely manner. The quality of work and attention to detail were excellent. I would definitely hire them again.

  • Plumb Kulla was contracted to preform rehab work on our home on November 2, 2017. The project was contracted to be complete on May 2, 2019. Contract cost was $140,000. He was paid $120,000 by March of 2018. The job is not completed to date (August 31, 2018). He has walked of the job leaving the project unfinished. He has taken our money and has left incomplete full kitchen, 2 full baths, siding, deck work, HVAC, water heater, plumbing among several other items. His work is below standards. This person has lied and made numerous false promises as to completion date of project and where our money has been spent. He refuses to provide documentation of the finances of the job which is required to provide under Michigan law upon request of the owner of the project. We have begun litigation against Kulla Construction. I have all documentation related to the false statements Kulla has made and photos of the substandard and incomplete work he has made.

  • Contacted Rufus about repairing drywall and painting. Did not show up to the appointment to provide an estimate and did not respond to phone calls or text messages. I thought his lack of follow-up was very rude and unprofessional. Beware!

  • Our remodeling was done in a professional and courteous manner. From the beginning to the end of the job the workers were there every day (Mon - Fri) until it was completed to our satisfaction. They never left until all the work was done. The owner, Marty, stopped by every day to check on progress, do some of the work himself, and talk to us about how we felt it was going if we were happy with everything. He is meticulous and very skilled in the remodeling business. He gave us good ideas and suggestions on ways to save money and also pointed out areas we needed to give more thought to as to how we wanted things to look. This was important because he was aware of things we hadn't thought of that affect the final outcome . The results are beautiful and we are completely satisfied. Although we are glad to have the construction over we will miss seeing Martin and Chris each day. They work for Marty and we grew fond of them. We highly recommend Madera Building Company!

  • Hanyif, his dad Lorenzo and their crew were great. I hired them to tear out my kitchen ceiling to find a water leak and instead of tearing it all out, they started small and found the leak before creating a huge mess. They also patched drywall in another part of the house. Communication was prompt, clear, and we were able to effectively discuss the best strategy for a few odd challenges. I would definitely hire them again.

  • Nick and Tom were awesome to work with. Honest, realistic, totally understood the right way to do accomplish some very difficult construction tasks. We had, historic review committee reviews, City of Detroit Inspections, and Sherwood Forest Association Reviews. The work performed was totally acceptable to all these oversight committees and inspectors. I never felt like I needed to research "how to" and teach United Building Service anything. The employees and subcontractors they used were friendly, timely, and hard working. UBS researched ways to help cut costs, and offered up alternatives for me to review (different stucco boards, second level truss system alternative, side entry door designs, brick choices, color keyed gutters vs custom painted, garage doors). I was never pressured to accept any of these alternatives, just presented with the choice, the cost difference, advantages / disadvantages, and they left me to make a decision. They warranty their work, and have come back to my home to do a few additional small projects. I wish I had discovered this contractor years ago. They made a very heartbreaking accident (tree falling), into a very positive outcome.

  • This company was professional and knowledgeable about the job we needed done. All of our questions were answered and we were assured that we would love our bedroom, and Mark of Elegance Painting exceeded our expectations. They are highly recommend and we will be hiring them again for other work in our home. Thank you

  • I met up with Michael to give him a 50% deposit and we actually sat and talked for a few hours. He gave my girlfriend and I TONS of helpful advice about repairing houses and even advice on my rental property. He showed up right on time and completed all of his work with LIGHTNING SPEED. What would have taken many CONtractors weeks to do, he was able to do in about 8 hours! I will hire Michael again and again for any work I need done, whether it be on my investment properties, or on my personal residence. He is a man of his word and is extremely skilled. I also hired him because he is a church-attending Christian who loves his family and has the utmost reliability and integrity, which are qualities that are very important to me, especially since I've been burned so many times in the past by other contractors. In a very short time, I've gotten to be very good friends with Michael, and I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with him for many years to come. I was actually getting ready to spend over $8,000 on plumbing and drywall and he actually talked me out of getting a lot of work done that was unnecessary, that the other CONtractors tried to get me to hire them for. I ended up spending only $2,850 with Michael, with a total savings $5,150!!! He is definitely my go-to guy!!!

  • We used Andronic Construction for a marble tile backsplash installation and a complete redo of our bathroom shower including demolition and reinstall of all the underlying materials, walls and concrete. From the very beginning, the communication, responsiveness, and transparency was above and beyond anyone else we’ve worked with. The work itself way exceeded our expectations. Our backsplash and shower are a work of art! They achieved perfect angles, clean lines, and exact precision which takes not only a high level of skill, but also a meticulous attention to detail. Brian and Jose are extremely trustworthy and punctual. We were given a stepwise schedule of what they would be doing each day so we knew how the job was coming along. For any materials we needed to buy, Brian provided detailed itemized lists to make it easy. They kept the work area clean and protected the rest of our home/floors very well. The price was very fair and at the end we received a spreadsheet of costs as well as itemized receipts. They were respectful, kind, and truly a pleasure to work with. We trust them for any construction/remodeling work and highly recommend them to friends and family. We hope to use their skill again in the future.

  • The technician overall worked hard during the alloted time period, but some of the work was left incomplete and some of it was messy (plastering). He seemed to be under a time pressure to get done quickly. His demeanor and professional bearing was positive.
