  • I finally settled upon surgery in my case. My biopsy Provider name locked. score came in at a 7 and demanded attention soon.

I visited with number of potential providers and treatment options.  Learned of the Pros and Cons of each....settled upon a Prostatectomy.  Also settled upon a robotic surgery solution.....this lead me back to Dr. Provider name locked. .

You NEED to select a treatment provider that performs a high number of this type of treatment.  The experaince and "practice" pans out in the statistics!

Dr. Provider name locked. completed my prostatectomy on February 21, 2012.  I am still in recovery my recovery phase, working on incontinence as I write this...have no idea about erectile ability as of yet.

  • The outpatient surgery itself went smoothly. Dr. Provider name locked. had me well prepared for what to expect. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were professional, courteous, respectful, friendly, and in good humor. Their attitude helped ease the bit of anxiety I was experiencing.

Post-operative instructions were clear. I felt well equipped to deal with the catheter which had been inserted into me. There was relatively little post-operative pain, but lots of urinary bleeding which was expected. The catheter was more of an inconvenience than anything, but readily manageable with a bit of patience. I only used a portion of the post-operative medications I was given. Removing the catheter on my own was no big deal.

The surgery was highly successful for me. Frequent urges to urinate, very weak stream, and far-from-complete bladder emptying were my major symptoms. Three months after the surgery, my symptoms are relieved. Was it worthwhile <Provider name locked. >for meProvider name locked. >? Absolutely!

  • When I arrived, everyone was running behind, so I waited about 20 minutes past my appointment time before I was brought back to the exam area. Everyone I encountered was friendly and polite. After I gave a urine sample, I waited another ten minutes before the doctor came in. Dr. Provider name locked. is clipped and professional in her manner, but an excellent clinician and a very good educator. She talked to me nonstop throughout the appointment. I always knew what she was doing and why she was doing it. My case was complex, but she gave me as much time as I needed to tell my story. She listened and asked questions. She was engaged in the conversation, and she took the time to explain how my condition had most likely progressed and why it had taken so long to get answers. I spent nearly an hour with Dr. Provider name locked. . This astounded me since her practice is extremely busy, and it takes months to get an appointment. At the end of my appointment, Dr. Provider name locked. was able to accurately diagnose a condition that had baffled other doctors for over 20 years. I left with clear explanations and a comprehensive treatment plan. I had no questions because they all been answered. I loved that Dr. Provider name locked. never said, "Do you have any questions?" Instead, she said, "Now, I've talked quite a bit. What questions do you have for me?" What a refreshing attitude! Being treated by Dr. Provider name locked. has been one of the most positive medical experiences of my life--and that's saying a lot, considering this is urology we're talking about here. Dr.Provider name locked. impressed me with her professionalism and skill, but mostly with the depth and breadth of knowledge she has on difficult urology cases. She brought me relief after 20 years of chronic suffering. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone with a urology issue. There is a good reason Dr. Provider name locked. has been on 5280 Magazine's Top Docs List more than once.
