    A Cut Above Dog Grooming
Love this business, they are family owned and care about the dog like they are their own, I always get a great groom for my pup and she is always happy when she comes home. Dian and Cindy do her most of the time and I always satisfied with their work.

Our dog gets terrific treatment every time we have to take him here. The staff is very friendly and great with handling my dog. Unfortunately my dog was recently attacked and they were able to take him in and evaluate him immediately. They make appointments convenient and are always right on schedule. Love the service here.

    Uptown Fluff
She is excellent. She just opened her shop, been open for a bit. She does a good job, reasonable and is no more expensive then big box doors. She might actually be cheaper but does a much better job. She has worked as a vet tech and is a little more knowledgeable then your average groomer. She knows about conditions which can be helpful.

    The Pooch Mobile
The price was for two dogs. One dog weighted 30 lb. and the second one weighted 95 lb. It was really cool. Susan drove her trailer onto my drive way and parked right outside my door, that made it so easy to walk the dogs to her grooming trailer. Then she went to work on them one at a time. My dogs now look fantastic. They smell great, their coats shine and are so soft to pet. Our Rotweiller had dry flakey skin. That is now gone. Our Rotweiller also has a thing about jumping into our truck, she just won't do it. I have to lift her up into the truck, but Susan's trailer sits lower, so the lifting up part was easier on my back. Plus Susan helped me lift her. All in all, this was an awesome experience and so convenient for me. No more having to get both dogs in the truck to bring them to the groomer and having to do it again to pick them up to take them home. This is the way to go for me! It was definitely worth it. I would recommend this dog groomer to anyone who finds taking their dog to a groomer to be a hassle.

My dog went there twice- Dec. 2014 and around April 2015. At the first visit, he came home with a cut on his foot by his dew claw. He ended up needing to wear a cone for a week. I thought, things happen and was willing to give this groomer a second chance. When I spoke with her upon making the second appt. , I mentioned the incident as I thought she should be aware. She denied the possibility a cut could happen while a dog was being groomed (really?). I thought this strange but went anyway. While dropping off my 13 yr. old (13 lb.) sweetheart of a dog, within 2 minutes, one of the dogs running loose in her shop (about 80-100lbs) ran out from under the counter and attacked my dogs face! Shelly, the owner, said she knew the dog was aggressive and she shouldn't have given him another chance to be out "but he belonged to good clients". My dogs nose was ripped and he had a puncture wound under his eye. I asked her to bathe him to clean out the wounds and to see how severe they were. I picked up my dog an hour later and was shocked at the condition of his ripped nose so took him to my vet. He required antibiotics for the puncture under eye and his nose took over a month to heal. My Saturday vet bill for above was $100. When I submitted this bill to Doggy Dog World, owner Shelly went CRAZY, shouting and saying she could have brought me antibiotics from home (no, she is not a vet) or referred me her vet- which would have been cheaper. She finally agreed to pay bill ONLY if I deducted for her $40 services the day my dog was injured. This owner is very unreliable (does not answer phone) and acted unstable about my dog's injury. I would avoid this groomer at all costs.

    B&B FOR D O G
our dog loves this place. As soon as we turn the last corner on our way he recognizes he going. He goes absolutely nuts with excitement and literally tries to jump out windows to get in. He happy to go in the back room and is always well played at the end of the day. We used them for boarding and for grooming. There daycare and boarding costs are very reasonable,

Have been using the Groomers here for over 9 years. The groomers here were the best, most considerate I had ever found. Enter new management and every groomer was driven off. Unfortunately for my dog I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Last week (8/20/14) I brought her in for a bath and a haircut. When I picked her up she had been shaved all over, without my permission. The explanation was that as they started on her legs they had to keep cutting her all over to make her look even. Needless to say I was furious (They refunded my fee). My poor puppy has spent the last week in misery. She had multiple cuts (caused by the clippers) all over her stomach. She has been unable to even walk for a week. She now spends her time hiding under the dining table or our bed at night. I have to coax her to even eat. The new management seems more concerned with planter boxes and lines in the parking lot.

    VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital
I've used them for 15 years. They don't do training but they're a hospital and have over 25 vets. They do all kinds of testing. They get everything done there. They're very professional and very good. They're totally trustworthy. Their pricing is most probably a little bit higher in my opinion, but it's well worth it because they do everything there. They board cats and dogs. They have a day center for dogs. They also do reptiles too. I'll absolutely use them again.

We've been taking both dogs to Lia for a while now and we've been very pleased. She was the first to suggest a more practical cut (former groomer was doing a show cut even though neither is a show dog). It has made it much easier to keep up with the brushing. Lia is quick to offer counsel and answer questions. She's very knowledgeable about the dog world generally. I've learned a lot from her. This form forces me to indicate that services were performed at my home, but they were actually groomed at Lia's studio.
