    Answering Specialists Inc
Please do not hire this company. Omg I had the most horrible experience with them. They are they most rude and ugly people I had to deal with, I am not lying. After I found out how bad the operator were I tried to cancel my account but instead the give me an invoice I need to pay before canceling or they will send me to collection. They gave me two reason why the calling services was so bad: 1- It was a very bad time (a perfect storm really) and definitely not a typical experience. Due to circumstances beyond our control the hold times were very long. We are humans here, not computers. Really? They are called the answering specialist??? Come on really! I hire them to answer my calls not to put people on hold for 8 minutes before the can get an answer. A second person on accounting gave me a different reason why the services was so bad: 2- The office manager has declined to refund your payment since you have not given us a chance to get comfortable with your new account. What a scam for real. I train the operator till they say they were good to go. How can they say this??? If they aren’t comfortable with the system, how can they Go ahead and take call? Why they don’t ask question on what is not clear? Really bad experience, happy at the end I actually discover how ******** their service are. After all instead is an apology they did this about $19 dollar bill that was charge after I pay more than $150 to get started and didn’t not receive one booking from them. Because thank God I call to test this company 2 day after I started forwarding the call to them,. Thank God. So They never booo a single appointment for me and they still sending m an invoice and also said this: “ The invoice is due and payable in full. We would appreciate prompt payment to avoid sending the account to collections” Do yourself a favor and save your self from so much stress with this people ugly people that only way want you money but the don’t deliver what they promise.

    Ooma Inc
I purchased an Ooma Telo ($149) and signed up with Ooma in Dec. 2011. I cut the copper cord with Centurylink where I was paying approx. $70 p/mo. for my home line and a custom ringing number for my home based business. I have saved over $5661 to date ( 5+ years) without compromising quality of service. I pay Ooma approx $15.50 p/month total with the optional Ooma Premier Service. ($9.99p/mo + State & Fed tele taxes) Without Ooma Premier, you only pay approx $5.50p/mo for State+Fed tele tax. Ooma Premier includes a 2nd telephone number, 3-way conference calling, unlimited long distance calling in the US, Mexico and Canada, simultaneous ring / call forwarding to and from my cell phone and many other benefits. Ooma (with Premier Service) plays well with my cell phone service...allowing me to receive and make calls with my home phone handsets while I recharge my cell phone. Another advantage of having Ooma is that I don't have to give out my cell phone number to everyone. I highly recommend Ooma to anyone who wants the advantages of home phone and/or a small business phone service at a fraction of the price of a landline.

    Comcast Cable
I am not happy with the price but I am with the service. The cable and Internet service is great but the price of the high speed Internet and cable is high; it is almost the price of a car payment. I will use them again in the future.

    Comcast Cable
They offered me Comcast signature support where they have 24/7 support line and the technicians are great!  They were able to fix my computer and it was working properly afterwards for $129.00.  I have used them about 3-4 times now. They are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to.

    CenturyLink
It is a reliable phone service it always works.  About two years ago we had to someone come out and fix it, but the trouble was in one of the main boxes.  We will continue to use Century Link.

The service is internet based and the cheapest service that I have found.  I am paying for their premier service which has more add on services available.  I did purchased the control box up front that you plug the internet into and also has the voice mail retrieval available on it.  It is unreal what phone options you can control from their online site, I am very pleased with it.  The only service I do not have is conventional 911 service.  You can dial 911 but you do not get routed to the normal 911 system from the landline.  If you keep your current address up to date with Ooma they do know where you are at.  I can also use cordless phones with this unit.  This service is amazing.  I was also able to port my own number over from my previous landline service provider.

Includes unlimited long distance for $20 a month, caller id, voicemail, and call waiting. It's good, they are reliable. I have never had the service go out, what does that say?

    Century Link
I have been using Century Link for about 22 years.  I have been fairly happy with the special deals they offer.  I recently had a problem, and they were very prompt sending a service technician at no charge.  Hopefully they will continue to offer special deals so I don't have to switch.  I've had a bit of trouble getting support service after hours.

    Comcast Cable
I really like Comcast. Their prices are better than the other providers and the cable installer was very nice. He took the time to hook up my computer and installed my DVD player. He explained the On Demand service to me and made sure everything was working properly.

I do not have any problems with them. I wish that the service was a bit faster up here where I live but I live on top of the mountain. I am not sure about their price because my wife pays the bills. I have DSL service. It has gone out a couple of times but they always get it back on very quickly. I am happy with the service and it is the best that I can get up here without going satellite. I have got the fastest that they can get me up here. I lived in Denver before I moved here and they were our service provider there. I had my internet phone through them and when I moved here, they just transferred everything here. So, I kept the same phone number and all that stuff. I have all the land line phone features like caller ID, call waiting and voice mail. I also never get dropped calls with that.
