Animal Removal reviews in Denver

No problems. Jay told us what he recommended to eliminate the problem. He set two traps near the affective area. He caught several young skunks and removed them. He then recommended someone to build a protective screen below our shed to prevent skunks from returning. The work performed by Jay was excellent and reasonably priced and the problem has not returned.

Stewart handled a tough situation very humanely. We had a juvenile raccoon stuck in a tree, and didn't feel prepared to deal with that on our own. Freeing him from the tight branches was no easy task, and it turned out the leg was broken and the poor little guy had to be euthanized. Having worked with him previously on squirrel trapping at our house, I knew Stewart would take good care of the animals, and that is the reason we came back to work with him.

Beautifully! After all the squirrels had come out of our attic; Jay & Ryan repaired the hole with a strong metal covering. Our attic is now squirrel free! Jay and Ryan are very professional and knowledgeable. They stayed in daily communication even sending us photos. They also put strong mesh coverings on our chimneys. We will definitely hire them again for any type of animal control.

It went well. Two weeks of squirrel trapping, then the holes in the eaves of the roof were patched with metal flashing, to prevent them from getting back in. The metal flashing was painted the same color as the wood, so it doesn't look too bad. Actually repairing the wood damage would be a bit of a renovation project (particularly on old homes like ours).

Stewart was great, and explained the entire process on how he would trap the squirrels, and secure the house to ensure more did not take the place of the family who had taken up residence in our attic. He did the trapping as well as adding flashing to a section of our roof that did not have it, and secured 3 chimneys on our roof. He was very communicative throughout the process. I hope we don't have any reoccurrences, but would certainly recommend him to others!

Jake was able to catch and release a pretty large (25-30 lb) raccoon from my chimney which was no easy task. I have a tall tudor with a steep roof line. He showed up same day, about 45 minutes after I expected, but he called to let me know and make sure it was still ok to come over at the later time. Very friendly and professional. The price seems kind of high, but it's also something I wouldn't attempt myself so overall it was worth it.

Very well Jason our technician did an awesome job. I was sold up into a package I really did not need by the sales rep on the phone, but I was in a hurry to make repairs behind the nest to sell our house that I had few options and had to take the deal offered though it was not the one advertised b/c the one advertised did not cover what I needed. Did not want to pay twice as much but had to.

Heard noises coming from my chimney. Called Envirocritter and Jake told me it would be $199 to get the critter out and scare it off....more to capture and relocate. He was able to come out in about an hour and was quite effective and thorough. After a racoon climbed out the top with Jake admonishing it from inside the fireplace, he put a camera up the flu and saw there was still a younger racoon who couldn't get out. So Jake managed to pull it out from below, and set it outside....hopefully to be reunited with its apparent parent.. At first I felt silly in not being able to scare the critter out myself, and paying someone a couple of hundred for a half hour of work, but am glad that I did call and Jake who is much more experienced and possibly prevented me from not realizing there was a 2nd animal to remove. Moral of the story is that you should have chimney caps covering your fireplace flus. I do now.

Had a critter chittering in my chimney. I saw that there were some rather large piles of poo on the roof near the chimney. I didn't quite feel like opening up the fireplace screen and flu to investigate so I called Envirocritter and Jake said he could come by in about 1 hour. He told me it would be $199 to get the critter out and scare it away....more to trap it. I really didn't like the idea of paying that much for a few minutes of work, but still didn't feel like trying something myself. Thanks to other reviews I could see that the price was relatively reasonable....relative for the industry I guess....so I agreed. He was prompt, friendly and effective. Scared one racoon out as I watched from outside. Then he checked with a camera to find that a younger one was still in the flu, and apparently could not crawl up and escape. So Jake gabbed him from the fireplace/flu and brought him outside. (Hopefully to be reunited with the apparent parent who had been scared away. Hopefully not wanting to go back on my roof??) Jake also left me with some screening wire mesh so I can make a chimney cap. He mentioned it isn't proper if burning in the chimney. My recommendation is that you get a chimney cap if you use the fireplace or put some wire mesh over it if you don't. Better to keep critters out in the first place than to have to scare em out after being scared by strange noises in the night. But if you need help with removing critters, I'd recommend using Envirocritter.

Jake came to our home to get rid of squirrels that had torn through our roof in several places. There were several families of squirrels living in the roof and walls and two even made it inside the main living area! Jake removed all of the squirrels and repaired the roof. That was three years ago. I was worried about them coming back in since it had been a few years, so called him and he promptly showed up to check on things to ensure they would hold. All of his repairs were solid, just as he guaranteed. There was a problem with a piece of roof that prevents water from leaking in (non-pest related) and Jake fixed that for us just because he was up there and he is a nice guy. Truly going the extra mile and much appreciated!
