  • Everything went as planned. The gentleman answered the phone (no recordings) That was my first + for them. I explained our problem, he understood and came out the same afternoon. Had to pickup the damper control, but the parts facility was already closed for the day. No problem — he communicated with us the following day about getting the part installed. I had to be away from home that morning, so he came in the afternoon and completed the job. This entire repair was Provider name locked. and completed very efficiently and at a very reasonable cost.

  • Very unsatisfactory experience.  Made an on-line appointment for between 8 - 10 AM on Friday 4/29.  This time was confirmed the day prior by the company.  By 10:45 on day of appointment, no call or appearance by technician, I phoned and e-mailed to request whereabouts.  Technician phoned approximately 11:15 AM to say he was "running an hour behind" - whatever that means.  Was after noon when truck drome up to my residence.  Technician remained in vehicle for 15020 minutes on telephone.  Finally rang doorbell at nearly 12:30.  Complained of how much computer time he had to spend doing paperwork.  Took 5 minutes to tell me the dryer belt needed replaced, but he didn't have part - could I wait until tomorrow?  I'd supplied make and model of appliance in on-line appointment interview, and described exactly what was wrong (dryer drum didn't turn) in the same interview.  When I declined to wait another day for their repair, the technician wanted to argue that I should do it - "because you're going to pay me $90.00 anyway".  After my comment that I could buy a new dryer for $300.00, he asked me to donate my appliance (to him?)  This REALLY stuck in my craw.  I would never use this company again.  They charge higher than top dollar for their services, and then to attempt to coerce a homeowner to donate to the staff is highly unprofessional. After stewing with my frustration for a couple of hours, I decided to stop payment on the check I had been forced to give the technician I discovered that he had cashed the check the minute he left my house - not even endorsed to the company. Can't believe people can get away with what was a 95.00 theft.

  • Timeline of events: 4/29/08 I Called Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. (owner) indicated that the wine fridge was fixed and was running for 48 hours just fine. He agreed to drop off the fridge and I left a check for $126 under the welcome mat on the front porch. 4/30/08 Provider name locked. picked up the check and left the fridge on the back porch. 4/30/08 At 600pm I Plugged in fridge and checked back 1 hour and 15 minutes later. 4/30/08 At 715 pm I checked on fridge and it was not cooling and I smelled plastic burning. 4/30/08 I unplugged the fridge and turned it so I could see the back of the fridge. The fridge and the wall it backed up to were VERY hot. When I looked further I saw a plastic piece melted to the top of the compressor. 4/30/08 Stopped payment on check. 5/1/08 Called Provider name locked. (Owner of Co.) and he said he would be "by this afternoon to pick up the fridge." 5/1/08 Arrived home at 530pm and the fridge was still here. 5/2/08 Left Fridge out again. When I returned home at 530pm it was still there. 5/3/08 After 1 day, I brought fridge into garage. 5/7/08 At 253pm I received a voicemail from Provider name locked. asking for a call back. 5/7/08 1214 pm received a call from financial institution requesting a call back. 5/7/08 5pm received voicemail from financial institution. I called them back and indicated I stopped payment on the check. 5/8/08 I called Provider name locked. and indicated that I stopped payment on the check because the fridge was not fixed. I told him that I will pay for the fridge repair once it is completed. He stated he would be by tomorrow to pick it up. 5/9/08 At 820am I placed the fridge outside while heading to work. When I returned home at 520pm the fridge was still there. He did not pick up. 5/10/08 Placed fridge back into garage. 5/12/08 Placed fridge in the backyard and called Provider name locked. . Ring, no answer, voice mail was full. 5/14/08 Called in the AM Ring, no answer, voice mail was full. 5/15/08 Brought broken fridge into the garage for future disposal.
