Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Dallas

  • At first, Chris was very responsive. It's not easy to find someone who will come inside the Dallas city limits. He diagnosed the issue as a bad pump and also a broken pipe. He installed a new pump and charged $995. Two weeks later, the area was flooded again and the pump wasn't pumping. He came out and said it was just a tripped breaker, and everything seemed fine until another week or two later. Then suddenly he no longer answered my calls or texts. After three months of trying to get him to come out and properly diagnose and repair the issue to no avail, I finally contacted a reliable, responsive septic service, Alpine Environmental, who diagnosed and repaired an electrical issue and also told me that the pump Chris had installed was too small for our system. It will work, but it will be much slower that what we had before. What should have taken 5 minutes to drain took 15 minutes. For all I know, we didn't need a new pump at all. It could have been a simple, less expensively repaired, electrical problem. Do not call this company if you need septic service.

  • I called several times before speaking to them and they did not have the courtesy to call me back after numerous messages and texts. The person said he'd call me back when he got to the office and never did. I had used them for 3 years and even had them put in new lines. They don't return calls or answer the phone.

  • I was referred to Economy Sewer by my realtor. I called them Mon Feb 1 mid-morning and their first availability was late morning Feb 3 (today). I discussed backstory with Pete (owner) on phone. He assigned Heath (25 years exp). I found Pete to be very informed about houses and plumbing in my area of Dallas (Preston Hollow).
Heath and his assistant Josh U. arrived on time. They went straight to work. They looked at problem drain in bathroom, went under my house via trap doors in floor (pier and beam house). They probed my property for sewer line and found it. My house was built before drain clearouts were required so I don't have any. The sewer line from the problem bathroom has multiple 90 degree turns and a T in it. They snaked line from toilet, reversing then forwarding the snake end thru the correct portion of the T-pipe and cleared drain. Heath said most plumbers don't know to reverse the snake to get it to go into the correct T-pipe. They also advised me of problems with Toto toilets and the advantages of two piece (sep tank and seat) over one piece toilets. Pretty informative.
Since we just put our house on MLS, we're very relieved this issue is resolved.
Josh cleaned our bathroom and adjacent shower stall from the debris that Baker Bros left behind and he re-installed toilet. Heath demonstrated it worked and then he showed me the weaknesses of my expensive 1-piece Toto toilet.
I highly recommend Economy Sewer team. If I have any more plumbing issues at my house I plan to call them first.
Thanks Pete, Heath and Josh! You guys are the best.

  • He is wonderful. A-1 Septic is awesome. I have no problem with him at all whatsoever, and he is very proactive. Everything was backing up inside the house, and that is why we called him. He said that we need to get him out here every quarter. He is very knowledgeable, he is prompt, he is reasonable, and he is very nice.

  • I love them, I like the fact that they always have the parts on the truck they don' have to order when he came, to fix it. and I like a certain plumber, I've had him a couple of times with Benjamin.

  • Josh was great.  Very pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable.  From the first phone call until install was about 2 weeks.  He showed up in the morning dug the hole and the shelter was set and backfilled a little after lunch.  The shelter is everything you would expect a tornado shelter to be.

  • We have an older home with a septic tank for the kitchen sink, the rest of the house is connected to the city sewer. We never owned a house before with a septic tank, so when we thought it was time for service we called a a few companies from Angie's List. All of the companies were very pleasant, but not all can service homes in the City of Dallas. I called A+ and they were very responsive and helpful.
Service was completed on time and A+ set us up on a reminder schedule for service. The technician also provided us with information on how to care for our septic tank and how often it should be cleaned.

  • Mr. Small was very professional. I'm working in Afghanistan and my wife has to take care of all the maintenance issues around our home. He made her feel very confortable, being this was the 1st major project that she had to do while I was away from home. He answered all her questions and explained all that he was doing. We will continue to do business with his company. The "PRICE WAS RIGHT".

  • Very honest and knowledgeable. Would use them again. Seemed more honest and straightforward than other companies I have used like Snowden. Would never use Snowden again. Very responsive. Family business.

  • Found out after the fact that they wouldn't diagnose or repair, only pump.
