  • A wonderful company to do business with. Scheduling was easy - just one phone call and the movers showed up on time. They were extremely careful with the piano and were more than accommodating with the return. Excellent service!
    - John O.
  • Both pianos were moved safely and without damage, for which I am grateful. However, the movers from Provider name locked. used my heavy quilted piano cover to wrap the Mason and Provider name locked. A grand piano, and it has been lost.
I was not aware that the interstate mover would unwrap the piano at Provider name locked. warehouse, set it up, and re-wrap it with their own blankets. Otherwise I would have insisted that Provider name locked. use their blankets and leave my quilted cover with me to move. When the pianos were delivered to my new home in North Provider name locked. , my quilted cover for the grand piano was missing. The interstate mover's customer service explained that they would have set up the piano at the local warehouse to verify its condition and that they would only use their own blankets to wrap the piano.
I have made many calls to Provider name locked. to follow up on the location of my piano cover. First, the movers should have wrapped my piano in their own blankets rather than use my cover. The employee that I have spoken to repeatedly has told me that she needs to visit the warehouse personally to Provider name locked. for my cover. While she is pleasant over the phone, she has not been proactive about contacting me or about completing this Provider name locked. .  At one point she said that Provider name locked. would order me a new cover if they could not find mine. In our most recent conversation, she implied that there was no proof that Provider name locked. movers actually took my cover. I have made numerous follow-up calls since January and have lost patience.
I am sorry to give a negative review, especially since my pianos did get moved safely. However, replacing my piano cover will cost more than $200.
(Note that my husband's name is on the Angie's List account. My last name is Provider name locked. .)

  • The process was easy:  I contacted Provider name locked. via e-mail, and he got back to me in about 24 hours.  We decided upon a price, date, and time for the move.  The guys moving my piano called us that morning, and again when they were about thirty minutes or an hour out, and they arrived ON TIME.
The move:  They arrived on time, introduced themselves, and went right to work.  They were very careful with the piano, lifting it onto a wheeled cart (it looks like a very large carpeted cube) and rolling it to one side while they moved and positioned the rug.  The piano had to be placed on the rug in a specific spot, -- they actually immediately understood what I was going for, and they positioned it perfectly.  I am very happy.  The Provider name locked. cabinet was also placed exactly where I asked it to be placed, and it is perfect.
This company provided punctual, patient, and professional service.  Everyone was courteous -- no grousers or slouchers here.  We felt comfortable having them in our home.  They are quick, yet careful, and I trust them with my piano.
This piano has been in my family through several generations, and these guys are the best of all those who have ever moved it.  This is the second time they have moved it for me.  When it is time to pass it on to the next generation, we will once again call Provider name locked. .
