Dryer Vent Cleaning reviews in Dallas

The technician punched a hole in the "line" between the dryer and the wall. Lint and moisture everywhere. Lint backed up into the dryer. The smell was so awful we thought there was a fire. Thank the Lord we didn't start the dryer and leave - who knows what might have happened. Huge deep scratch in the tile, after our suggestions to prevent this were ignored. Paid extra for a "long line" however; the technician did not bring a long enough line to clean completely. When the appointment was made we were very very upfront about our situation. He assured that the line was completely clear and if it wasn't that they would come back "one hundred times if necessary". We have been calling and emailing since the issue was discovered - WITH ABSOLUTELY ZERO RESPONSE! - we are extremely disappointed. We paid in full on the spot - with a check - as they indicated they would upcharge if paid with CC. So now we don't really have any recourse. Complete failure on the part of Climate Doctors. Do NOT use this service!!!

HomeSafe was great! Verasay said that the vent was clean but that the dryer vented to the outside via the attic vent. So he repositioned the dryer vent to a new dryer vent outlet that he installed on the roof. Verasay took photos and measurements throughout and assured me that the dryer was venting properly. Great service

I bought a new place, and a brand new, state of the art washer and dryer from Lowes. I'd read about the dangers of cheap dryer vent hoses, so I bought a more expensive, all metal vent hose, but when the machines were delivered, Lowes had included the cheap flexible hose they usually install. When I protested, the installation guys (who were very nice guys) said it was what they always use, and they gave me a credit for the difference and installed the cheap hose, which was all they had on the truck. However, in less than a week I began getting a "flow sense error" message when I ran the dryer. I Googled that and learned it meant the dryer was not properly vented, so I Googled how to resolve that issue and found Dryer Vent Wizard. There were NO negative reviews, and after having Charles come out and troubleshoot the problem, I can see why. He was terrific! My dryer is not on an outside wall, which means the vent runs through my house, so he started by checking out the exterior vent. He told me the code has changed, which means if a new vent were installed today, it would be a slightly different one, but he also said there was no danger from the vent I have and therefore no need to spend the money to change it out at this time. He said it was definitely necessary to replace the flexible hose installed by Lowes with an all metal product, after which he would test the airflow to see if the vent needed to be cleaned, and if it did, that would be an additional charge. He provided specifics on what it would cost every step of the way. He pointed out a mysterious soffit in the ceiling in the corner of the laundry area and said he would guess the vent does a couple of turns inside that soffit, but there was no way to check that without going through the sheetrock. After replacing the cheap flexible hose installed by Lowe's, the airflow was still blocked, so I told him to go ahead and clean the vent. He did that from both ends, and it took a while, but after he did that my airflow was decent. Not 100%, but good enough for my dryer to run safely and efficiently. I paid a total of $252, including a $39 trip charge, and to me it was worth every penny. He was also very tidy. He wore shoe covers to protect my floors, and blew the debris off the patio after working out there. I'll have him come back in 2 years to clean the dryer vent again. I highly recommend this company.

Our dryer was taking lot of time so we got one of the highly reviewed and rated Dryer Vent cleaning companies from Angie's list to clean our dryer vent. They charged $100 plus tax and "cleaned" but with no difference - our dryer problem became worse. When we called that company the next day, they mentioned that our dryer duct is damaged/broken and referred us to HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning company. We called Jacob (the owner of HomeSafe) and he arranged his crew to come over the weekend. The technician used advanced camera system to located bird nest about two feet inside the outer opening of the duct. Used latest technology equipment to remove bird nest, twigs, etc in less than 30 minutes. Fixed pest repellent closure (waived charges for additional metal duct pipe fixture to the duct on wall) and replaced dryer hose with best in class. Got industrial sized vacuum cleaner to re-clean the duct and checked air flow. Showed us the final pictures of the cleaned duct and meter reading. Totally satisfying experience. Kudos to HomeSafe for doing a phenomenal job. The owner worked with us to waive duplicate charges since the previous company had charged us money for making our issue worse. We generally don't write reviews, but we owe a big thank you to HomeSafe and want to make sure everyone gets to know our wonderful experience with them. Great job!!

It went as well as it could go. He arrived ontime, recommended service, gave me a quote, and did the work. He worked in about 2 hours. The dryer vent was almost 2.5 stories up and he fixed it no problems!

The team did a great job. They arrived on time and worked hard to ensure the vent was completely clean from the inside and the outside, even though it wasn't immediately obvious where the dryer was venting to outside. All of this was done during some pretty abysmal weather. I would definitely use Climate Doctors again.

The work was done efficiently and professionally. I was a bit surprised at how costly it was as we had had some repair done about 18 months prior. The former work was shoddy, and because of this, additional AND CORRECTLY DONE repair/replacement/installation was more expensive - but definitely worth it.

The service person called in advance to see if he could come sooner. He had a large, clean canvas tarp that he used to cover the area in front of the fireplace. He captured all the debris with a vacuum, so no dust was agitated. He not only cleaned the chimney, but thoroughly cleaned the firebox and inspected all components.

When I had to have my dryer repaired, the tech advised me to get the vent cleaned and recommended HomeSafe. They were prompt and professional. Even though it was Friday afternoon late they stayed until the job was finished. Turns out that the aluminum tube was been punctured and was leaking so they replaced it with steel and replaced the exterior vent. They explained everything and even had pictures to show the problem. Very satisfied customer

A+ service. I just bought my house a little over a year ago and I had no clue when the dryer vents were cleaned out, although it had definitely been a long time. The energy efficiency Audit was very educational and I was pleased to hear that my air flow was working well. The staff was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend this company and I was very pleased with their work on all services.
