Chiropractor reviews in Dallas

  • I am still doing my treatment, but as little as a month later I feel like a completely new person. My pain is no longer constant, and if I do have a day where it is constant the kind of pain is incredibly different. I'd take being able to walk with a stiff lower back for one day after an adjustment over constant severe pain and inability to do normal everyday activities. My life was falling apart and I was pretty hopeless, but I'm not anymore.

  • Wendy in particular is excellent. She is the only person I have ever found who can manipulate my neck properly. Everybody there is personable and good at what they do and the price is also reasonable.

  • Dr. Khayal has brought my pain levels down from 8 & 9's on the scale to 1 & 2's.  His understanding of my problems and addressing each concern on an individual basis has enabled improvement in all areas.  His understanding of the "Knee bone is connected to the hip bone which is connected to the..." is the key to the improvement I have seen.

I have seen other chiropractors in the past but never treated with the state-of-the-art equipment available to Dr. Khayal. His understanding of movement and how it relates to my lifestyle enabled him to develop a treatment strategy for me.  His treatments has shortened my recuperation time allowing me to do the things I enjoy in life.

It is easy to check in and he is always on time.  I have never waited for treatments. I give highest marks to his entire staff for they're professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness.

If you are in need of a chiropractor I highly suggest you visit Dr. Khayal's office.

  • Ok, though most times I went home hurting more than when I went in.   the provider Dr. Samuel Laffel  respected my wished when I told him to stop doing my neck.

When I first went there for initial evaluation they took a full spinal x-ray.   The film they showed me was pretty bad with an Scoliosis of Back and exaggerated curve of the Cervical spine.  this and the pain were reasons for deciding to use this person.    I stopped going to him about 3 or so months after I started because, like I said, it hurt more after.  That was fall of 2015, the first of 2016 they called me and asked if I'd like to schedule an appointment and I said that I would not be coming back.  About 3 weeks later I received a bill for some treatments and things like the electric stimulation pads they used and reused at each appointment.    I asked for the first month if there was any co-pay and was told no.   Now after 6 months since I had started treatment I am getting a bill for these items.   It's kind of strange that I got NO bills until after I told them I would NOT be coming back did I receive a bill.    I  feel I am being gouged for these extras or in my opinion, just plain being robbed for these services.

Regarding the x-ray I mentioned above,  I have seen a Spine doctor, a physical therapist and my Primary care provider and they all agree there might be some minor scoliosis but not enough to cause the pain I am experiencing .   Instead my Spine provider said from my symptoms it's just bad posture, especially when I am at my desk working on the computer which is 90 % of what I do for a living.   Makes me think they showed me a bogus x-ray to scare me into using their services.   This is just my opinion based on what others in the medical field have told me.

When I first rec'd the bill I emailed with questions and I NEVER rec'd a reply and it's been over a week since I sent email.

This may not have been others experience with this provider, however if he is will to do this to one of his patient's he might do it again to another.

DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER,  if there are legit reasons for all that I experienced with this provider he hasn't bothered to explain anything.   So why take the chance that you will experience what I did.  I would find someone else.    If you have concerns about x-rays like I did, the go see a spine specialist to get a 2nd opinion; something I wish I had done.

  • Dr. Mary is the most excellent chiropractor in Dallas and she is unlike any other chiro I've ever been to! She doesn't prescribe the same treatment for everyone or every injury, nor does she try to just max out your benefits, like many chiropractors I've seen. She looks at you first as a person, then a patient, and she is my favorite health care provider. I have complex issues and she definitely knows what she is doing. She has helped me and my husband so much. I think her training, working with many of Dallas' top orthopedics, is unique and definitely gives her an edge. She is very considerate, she can go as gently as you need and never tries to force an adjustment. But she can also easily work on my 6'2" athletic husband. One of the most beneficial things for me has been the availability of a therapeutic massage before I see her for an adjustment -- without that I think I would be too tight for her to work on. The people on staff for this are some of the best and I've been to very many massage therapists before. I also really love the office staff. They are always friendly and helpful. Sometimes last minute appointment can be harder to get, but when I've had a sudden injury or complication that needs to be seen sooner rather than later they have always tried to work me in.

  • The initial analysis, and the following treatments, have gone very well and have achieved what was expected. The staff remain attentive and considerate, and Dr. Laboret has been personable and clear in his explanations.

  • The visit was very pleasant. Dr. Woodward made the necessary adjustments after asking some questions regarding where it hurt and making a visual examination of my posture. He then provided mechanic traction and electric muscle stimulation. He suggested that I soak in the bathtube with epsom salt, which relaxed my muscles.
Dr. Woodward's office was very convenient to where I worked at the Galleria. I found a new job downtown and had to find a new chiropractor closer to where I live and work. Dr. Woodward and his staff are very pleasant and professional and are willing to go out of their way to find an alternative payment plan when difficult financial situations arise. I recommended several of my co-workers to go to Dr. Woodward because of the convenience and good work he provides.

  • After going over my MRI report and acknowledging the severity of my multiple herniations in my low back, Dr. Stewart began to share with me the option of decompression therapy.  He mentioned that with my disc issues I'd be a great candidate for the decompression.  He described it as a device that creates a gentle "pulling" affect on my lower lumbar to
"decompress" my spine.  This pulling affect allows a slight increase in disc space and therefore relieving the pressure my disc bulge was putting on nerves running down my leg.  He expressed that it takes time and aggressive treatment 2-3x a week is a must then after a few weeks I was able to go 1-2x a week.  It was about the 2nd week I actually started to experience the relief from the numbness/tingling pain that was radiating down my leg.  It was then we started strength exercises and stretches that went along with the decompression therapy.  We started to strengthen my low back muscles and strengthen my core as well via specific stretches and exercises Dr. Stewart put together for my issues.  I was amazed at how much better I felt after working with Dr. Stewart.  Each visit he would adjustment the low back and hips to make sure I was to maintain an equal distribution of my hips. Dr. Stewart eventually put me on a maintenance plan, 1x visit every 2 weeks to make sure that I did not undo the progress I had made.
The office is very clean and relaxing.  For each visit, I never had to wait more than 5 min. before I was called back to begin treatment.  The staff and Dr. Stewart respected my time; and got me in quickly to start my treatment.  I did decompression, physical therapy and had an adjustment in a little under an hour. This efficiency was greatly appreciated to get me back to work.

  • Dr. Laboret and his staff are very responsive and professional. They did exactly what the deal promised -- an exam with xrays, an initial adjustment, and a massage. I continued to return for adjustments for a few weeks until I concluded that, for me, this treatment provided no relief.
The massage therapist was excellent and I will continue to use that service.
