Auto Painting reviews in Dallas

  • Harvery's was great. They were very professional and finished the work on time. Had to replace the front and reap bumpers, repair the lift gate, and get a new trailer hitch on my 4-Runner as the result of an auto 4-car accident of which i was sandwiched in the middle. Cody was great working with me and kept me up to date on the status of the car. My 4-Runner looked great after getting it back and couldn't tell anything had happened. Also spend some time talking to the new owner who is updating and expanding the shop. I would go back to Harvey's for any auto body work if needed.

  • I rear-ended another car In August of 2014 when the other driver stopped short without warning as we were entering I-30 from I-35.  The car was declared a total loss by the insurance company.  The front end along with the engine was severely damaged.  I wanted to keep the car because it had been a very reliable, well-performing car and it had a standard transmission, which is hard to find.
Even though it took several weeks, Magic Touch restored my car to its original condition and it continued to run flawlessly a year and a half after the repairs.
I bought another car in November and took it to Brodie White and he examined the car.  He found that it had received severe damage from a wreck or another such incident.  He showed me in convincing detail where the car had been repaired and how the damage had been covered up.  I bought this second car at a very reputable local car dealer.  The salesman there lied to me about the condition of the car relying on a CarFax Report that did not mention any such damages. Brodie's examination of the car cut through the lies and misrepresentations.
I implicitly trust Brodie White ability and his character.  I strongly recommend Brodie White's Magic Touch Body Shop.

  • Absolutely the best body shop in Dallas.  I have been to many body shops in Dallas lived here all my life and Harvey's is tops. Independently owned been around for years. Remember in Texas you have the right to choose the shop you want to have your car repaired at no matter what your insurance company tries to tell you. These are very honest, fair, stand up people not like a lot of well know Dallas shops that charge for things you don't need and give you cheap replacement parts not original equipment.  Why not get high quality and personal attention and they all cost the same if you go to a giant shop or a little one. But the Quality, Service and Care you get are very different. You may have to wait a while for your car but its worth it if you care about your car being done the way it should be.  I have had a 2006 Chrysler Crossfire Convertible since it was new and it's like my child, I don't just let anyone touch it!

  • Artistic Auto Body and Paint is FANTASTIC! They repaired a dent on my BMW 128i and fixed a spot on my wife's 2012 Elantra Limited. The work was done on time and was phenomenal. Price was just as expected, and work was flawless. As someone who used to have muscle cars, and who has used many auto paint and body shops during the past 20 years, Artistic was far and above all the rest. I'll never use anyone else, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

  • I had caused minor damage to three places on a 2014 Ford Fusion. I'd backed into a fire hydrant and the hydrant cover gouged the finish on the car's rear. I had scraped the lower rear quarter panel on a concrete barrier. There was also a shallow dent of unknown origin in the rear bumper. I called Superior Touch Up on Monday and made a Wednesday morning appointment for home service. The technician arrived on time and gave me an estimated cost before starting work. The cost structure is based upon a $450 charge for appearing and doing one repair. Repair of additional areas is $175. (The technician said the bumper dent on my car was minor that he would not charge for it.) He had all the necessary materials for on-site repair, including heat lamps to dry the newly-applied paint. The technician filled the gouges, sanded them, masked areas not to be painted, and applied a primer and color-matched three coat paint. The process took about 2 1/2 hours. I was extremely pleased with  the process and the result. There is no evidence of the original damage and the paint is perfectly matched.

  • I contacted Mike Harvey and asked him for a quote to paint and attach my spoiler on my Mercedes (the previous owner had tried to make it look like non-AMG model and removed it and debadged). He gave me good quote so I brought the spoiler to them. Their shop is in a rough neighborhood, but you feel very safe as they are very professional and friendly. They painted the spoiler and called me when they promised to. I came in and they attached it for me and even rebadged my car for me (at no charge). Their work looks fantastic and there were no games. Great people, honest and trustworthy. John's family has owned the place for something like 70 years so you can see why they are that way. Would definitely use them again.

  • Herb's was excellent and was recommended by our insurance company.  You would never know there had been any damage. Work was done on time, communication throughout the process was excellent.

  • Could not be more pleased with the work or Bankston's services. My appointment for the estimate was on time. The work was actually completed ahead of time, and was top-notch. You can not tell that any part of the car was repainted from the original. All but my collision deductible was covered by insurance; so, the total cost of the service listed is approximate.

  • I have been taking my classic vehicle to them for all service and repairs, including body work, since I moved to the area in 2009.  They have extensive knowledge of many older foreign vehicles, always come up with effective solutions and their body work on all the vehicles I've seen in the lot, not only mine, has been great.  As I said, they could have tried to sell me a new tire, but they're not like that.  Even when I go in with a list of things to do, Jim - the owner - always points out things that can wait or be handled in a better way.  Never any pressure.  I am very thankful to have them in the neighborhood.

  • Not good. Patchy paint, twice the lead time as committed to, and general aloofness to the business. Had to return for corrections, which to their credit they committed to fix, but haven't after 2 attempts. Frankly I've given up asking for total resolution. Attention to detail is poor.
