    I think they are fast talkers and convinced me we needed parts. Then as they are fixing, it���s like they just cleaned. Now my self cleaning oven won���t work and I should have known( it was never the problem) and they will need to order another part. Sorry. $1,200 about later.....

    Rob was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He quickly came in, diagnosed the problem, & gave me a quick estimate after looking up the part. It wasn't a part he had in stock so he put a rush on the order and was back within 48 hours to fully repair the issue and get me up and running again. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

    Marathon did an excellent job in repairing my refrigerator that quit on me suddenly. The technician came out the same day that I called and quickly assessed the problem. He ordered parts immediately and returned a few days later to perform the work and get me up and running again. The technician was prompt, professional, extremely knowledgeable and really nice. I also know that he was honest because my brother has his license in refrigeration repair back east and I consulted with my brother about the work and costs. This is the second time that I have used Marathon Appliance and I will definitely use them again in the future. They go the distance!

    Everything went extremely well! We had another person work on it and never could fix our problem with the unit. Mark did a great job, and was so easy to talk with and he took the time to explain everything he was going to do. He picked the unit up which was not an easy task, and delivered it back to us in a timely matter. I would highly recommend this company. Very fair price too! We highly recommend Home Pro Refrigeration, we will be using him again.

    The technician was scheduled to arrive between 11 and 1. He called to say he wouldn't be able to come until 1:30 and I had a conference call at that time, so we rescheduled it for the next day at the same window. He called again the next day and said he wouldn't be able to make the agreed upon time and I let him come anyway. I wasn't paying much attention as I had another conference call and he clearly overcharged me for the fridge and dishwasher repairs he made. He indicated that he would need to order a part for my dryer and would come back out to complete the repairs later and it would be $250. I agreed. The next time he came out he brought his son with him who was very well-behaved, but it was completely inappropriate. After he completed the repair, which took all of 15 minutes, I looked up the cost of the part and it was under $20, so he ridiculously overcharged me. I will never use this service provider again due to their lack of professionalism and clearly fraudulent charges.

    C & W Appliance Service Inc
    C&W Appliance was recommended to me by Great Plains Appliance Parts as the only Sub Zero and Wolf certified appliance repair in the DFW area. I thought that meant I was getting superior service, quality repairs, and to the standards of Sub Zero ... however, that is definitely not what I experienced. The C&W service technician came to our home and reviewed each of our appliances which included a Sub Zero Refrigerator, Sub Zero Freezer, Wolf Range, Sub Zero Wine Fridge, and Sub Zero Ice Maker. The technician was surprised that our Wolf Range did not need any repairs, since the other appliances needed repair. Our plumbers were there at the same time and had installed a drain pump for the ice maker. The technician reviewed the pump with the plumber and myself and stated that it would work well with the ice maker. When the technician looked at our ice maker, he said that all it needed was some cleaning. The technician advised doing a full cleaning of our ice making and that after the cleaning cycle, it needed to run all night long. The service call alone cost me hundreds of dollars. The next day we discovered a nightmare! When I returned to the house, we had a massive leak from the ice maker that had gone throughout the kitchen and down into our basement destroying sheetrock, oak flooring, baseboards, and basement flooring. All because C&W did not plug in the drain pump and water overflowed. When I called C&W to find out what happened, they admitted they never tested the pump which was supposed to be part of the service because they said there was no water source at the site. However, there were 4 sinks with running water, as well as a hose just outside of the kitchen for them to fill up a cup of water and test the pump. Also, if there was no running water, how could they run the ice maker or even think of recommending it run all night long??? Since then C&W has been ignoring my calls. Every time I call the owner has already left for the day, did not come in, or is on vacation. I have left numerous messages. The two times that I did speak to the owner, Mr. Thompson, he said he wanted to make this right ... but did not think they had any fault. The sad thing is that I still have appliances I would like them to fix, but they won't even call me back. I was hoping we could resolve this issue, but it seems they think it is ok to damage customer's property and then ignore and deny their role in the damage. Do not use C&W Appliance unless you want things to be worse than before they came to service your appliances. They are inept, incapable, and just all around bad people for the damage they have done and their negligence in this matter. The worst part is that they refuse to accept responsibility for their mistakes! Mistakes happen, but dodging phone calls and not returning multiple messages is cowardly. Save yourselves and call somebody else for your appliance repair. Zero Stars!

    LAKE AREA APPLIANCE SERVICE
    Sent out by my home warranty company. Said to my (representative���s) face that both appliances were an easy repair and indicated no blame on our part (as in it wasn���t because we weren���t maintaining the appliances). Turned around and told my warranty company that both appliances were broken because of us. Additionally told the company that the oven was infested with bugs. We were shocked! Alarming right? We then independently had an exterminator come out and check the whole house, oven included. They found nothing: no bugs. When I asked Lake Area Appliance why they didn���t say anything about the appliances being non-repairable or that they found bugs in the oven, they told me they regularly don���t say what they really find for fear of the homeowners attacking them. They would not let me speak to the repairman directly. My 70 year old mother was in the house when the repairman came out. She needs two knee replacements and has cataracts��� point being she couldn���t possibly have been that threatening to like a 25 year old guy. What a load of BS. That company lady was right, they do regularly lie��� they lie to their customers and they lie to warranty companies, all so they can collect a service fee and not have to do anything more. The only thing I can���t decide is if American Home Shield is in on it.

    I hired them a week ago because my washing machine is not working. They contacted me and we set up the appointment. Now, the evening before the appointment, I am contacted by them saying 'we don't have anyone available for tomorrow' Is this a one person outfit? Are they not able to give more than an 'evening before' notice of cancellation? Very, very unprofessional and can not be depended on. Avoid them like the plague.

    It went great! I was happy that Glenn Sr. asked me to send photos of the broken part ahead of time so that Glenn Jr. could arrive with it and save the time to wait for the part. Glenn Sr was also a blast to talk to on the phone. I was waiting for Glenn Jr to call me back and I asked Glenn Sr if Jr would call me that same night. "Yeah, if he still wants this job!" he joked. It's so nice that this is a family business. Once Glenn Jr arrived, it was no-nonsense repair work that didn't take too long. The washer works great now.
