  • Very happy with the service of Airhealth! They explained the entire process and took photos before and after to show me what I was breathing and how much clean it is right now. I highly recommend everyone getting their ducts cleaned, I wish I would have done this sooner after seeing what came out of there. The process was done in a timely manner and no mess was left behind. Provider name locked. was very informative and they actually fixed my dryer vent by cleaning it!

  • The duct work cleaning is accomplished by attaching a huge blower (in the “sucking” mode) to one of the delivery vents and pulling the dust from all of the connecting ducts into the blower filter. They go to each Provider name locked. with a brush and brush the dust off the Provider name locked. while the machine is running. They took a couple of the large return grills off and vacuumed dust from those return ducts. They also opened the air handlers and vacuumed inside the handlers in the attic. They also cleaned the dryer vent.
I had an extra charge since the Angie’s List deal only covers one unit and I have two. So, ask before you sign up.
My one reservation was a soft sell for using a chlorine dioxide product to “sanitize” the air handlers and the duct work. When I investigated this on line, it seems unlikely in our dry climate that mold would be a problem. They claimed to find something “growing” on the housing of one of the blower motors. Maybe they are right and maybe not. I chose not to have the sanitizing process done, which would have been and extra couple of hundred dollars. I was also not fond of the idea of breathing the chemical, which would go to all rooms in the house, even though it is not known to be toxic.
It is very hard to evaluate the effectiveness of duct work cleaning. Some say it is not worthwhile. I can say we have noticed a reduction in the amount of dust that accumulates on the top of furniture in one room where we had a pretty bad dust problem before. So, I left the Quality score at N/A.
Over all, the guys were professional (other than the sales push on the sanitization process), worked fast (it takes a couple of hours), and I was satisfied with the job.

  • They were great.  The technician was very capable and very thorough.  It was clear he wasn't there to just "check the box" but wanted to provide good service and make sure everything was done to the best of his ability and that we had all the information we needed to keep the hvac system clean and cared for going forward.
He didn't try to up-sell us on service we didn't need, but did just what it took to leave us in good shape. We will definitely use them again.
