    Max Sports Medicine Institute
We use them because my son really likes the doctor here. It just seemed like they had no problems with the insurance, unlike the other place where there was always something they were not covering or paying. They are very good with sports medicine and also referring to physical therapy.

    Bright, Dr. Darrin
He is a general practitioner but he specializes in sports medicine. He is very attentive and understands I am a runner and athlete. The doctor understands my needs and is very attentive and understands all that runners do; because he also does it. He is attentive to my schedule and gets me in whenever I need.

I had never seen Dr. Shaw before. My normal doctor never is avalable for an appointment when I need one. Dr.Shaw was available to see me ASAP. I found him to be very thorough and showed genuine concern for my illness. I ended up having a small bowel blockage.Dr.Shaw found one of the best surgeons who took wondetful care of me and acted quickly. I trust Dr.Shaw and have continued seeing him ever since. Very caring person.

    Borchers, Dr. James
Dr. Borchers was friendly, kind and non-judgemental. Being plus size, I was concerned he would only tell me to lose weight. However, he was extremely helpful and has greatly helped me in my ongoing recovery.

My time with Dr. Doolittle went very well. I trust him and I am set up for a knee replacement in a few weeks.

    Whitfield, Dr. Damon M
He has handled just about everyone in my family. He does some cutting edge therapies including prolo therapy which saved my son’s patella tendons. He is one of the few doctors in the US that does this. He also does cancer treatments, eastern medicine, bioidentical hormone therapy, and homeopathy.

    Shaw, Dr. Joel L
He is at the same practice as my primary care and sports medicine.  He has treated my kids a couple of times and they like him.  My youngest kid last saw him.  My daughter and my wife seem to like him and they keep going back, so that means everything okay.  He seems to very available.  The only things with him is that he is so busy and I think that he is split between two or three different practices in differ locations, so sometimes it is a little tough getting in because he is good.

I always get in right away and I don’t have to wait a long time and they are just super nice and I like the fact that they have the “My Chart” where you can communicate with doctors and see your test results and medication list. It’s really great. You can e-mail the doctor. It’s like an internal e-mail. You can send your doctor a note and you can ask for refills on your prescriptions. They’ll e-mail you reminders for your doctor visits plus they even call you to remind you and I like that they have the x-rays and everything right there. If you need an x-ray, it’s like almost in the same room. You just have to go through a little door and you’re right there to get x-ray and stuff so it’s really nice. They have a physical therapy department there. You don’t have to have a sports injury necessarily. They treat other orthopedic kind of care. They have a podiatrist there as well. I never had to sit and wait for a long time. They go out of their way to be extra nice. I love the doctor. Both the physician’s assistant and the doctor are really nice. The doctor gives the best cortisone shots. It doesn’t hurt so badly when he gives them. It’s kind of hard with them on billing because you have to pay the doctor separate and the hospital separate and everything is kind of separate but starting in July, all the billing will go through one place and that will be really nice. I like their system.

    Shaw, Dr. Joel L
See above. On occasion, Dr. Shaw has also treated me as my primary care physician, writing prescriptions and referring me to specialists as needed. I find him to be non judgmental, accessible, friendly, competent and extremely intelligent. He is a very pleasant  person to be around and I like him very much.
